This was not a good morning for Ocean. Out of all days to start being sick, it's a Tuesday?

It's not like she could miss today she has a very big presentation in English this afternoon, and she has to maintain her 7th year of 100% attendance if she even wanted a chance at a good college. 

She got herself out of bed and chucked away the tissues which had accumulated on her bedside table before she reluctantly brushed her teeth and got dressed. 

She looked at herself in the mirror, her hair was greasy and she had bags under her eyes. She looked at her phone to find texts from her girlfriend

Read, 7:45 am

oh that's great, now she couldn't even shower, she had to do something. She left her hair in a low ponytail and sat on the couch waiting for her girlfriend to arrive. 

Penny arrived at 7:55, knocking quietly on the door. "Holy shit are you ok?" The blonde girl asked going to kiss her girlfriend

"I wouldn't recommend kissing me I don't want you getting sick" Ocean replied before sneezing into a tissue. 

"I don't think you should go to school today, I mean, I can smell the vomit over the toothpaste and you can hardly keep your eyes open" 

"I'm fine, just trust me please" Ocean insisted, as she yanked up her bag and walking to the passenger side of her girlfriends car. 

Ocean fell asleep on the way to school. Penny looked over every once in a while but the other girl was long gone. It pained her to wake her up as they pulled into the school. 

Penny planted a slight kiss on Ocean's forehead to wake her up. Ocean pulled herself out of the car and leaned against her girlfriend before they met the others in the choir room. 

Noel saw Ocean walk through the door and got ready for some lectures, but she just sat down and sat closest to the door, as Penny led the choir instead. The others looked at each other wondering what was going on. Penny and the others left for first period, but Ocean just stayed there, slightly still apart from her finger that was scrolling through Instagram. 

Noel walked up to Ocean, it wasn't like her to not engage in choir, nor was it like her to not go to class. Something had to be up. Sure he didnt like her, but she was like a sister to him so, as much as he hates her, he doesn't like seeing her bad. 

Ocean and Noel sat there talking about the odd thing, they stayed there all day. When 5th period arrived for the actual choir lesson, ocean stayed there. 

The moment Penny stepped out to go get some sheet music. Ocean threw up. 

In the trash can thankfully, but everyone just looked in shock as Ocean screamed and freaked out. Noel was quick to sit next to her and hold her hair as she threw up, Constance sat by her, rubbing her back. Mischa found some Advil in his bag (don't ask) and tried to get Ocean to take some but she would just sick it back up. 

Ocean looked up to Ricky "GET MY GIRLFRIEND GET MY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND" Ocean demanded before throwing up again. 

Somehow, with no mention, everyone knew who she was talking about. No one would bring it up, they'd wait until she was better. Mischa and Ricky ran in different directions to find Penny, before they met in the middle and found her talking to Father Marcus. 

"Penny, is Ocean, she's not good" Mischa managed to get out through a few breaths. 

Penny ran as fast as she could to find the red head sitting over a trash can, she wasn't throwing up anymore, she didn't have anything to throw up. Noel and Constance helped her stand up before she fell into Penny's arms. Ocean used Penny and Noel as crutches as Constance held her bag behind her. 

Penny drove Ocean back to her own house, the looming smell of weed couldn't be good for someone who had just thrown up. 

Ocean sprawled herself over Penny's double bed as she sipped lightly on the honey tea Penny prepared. Penny budged Ocean up and sat the girl on her lap, playing with her hair as 'Sleeping Beauty' played in the background. 

"I'm sorry" Ocean mumbled, she felt so bad for making her girlfriend miss school. She knew she didn't care about it as much as her, but she felt so bad. 

"Don't worry about it, I didn't wanna be there anyway" Penny said, messing with her own blonde ringlets. 

Ocean fell asleep and didn't wake up until 11 am the next day, to a note, 

dont worry about going to school, I'm here I'm in the kitchen, stay there I'm making you toast

Ocean blushed at the note. It made her forget she was missing school.

She realized once she went back she'll have to address the whole girlfriend thing, but she's happy for now.
