This city will be covered in the blood of everyone who gets in my way.
“They will be loved.” Her counterpart's soft touch did nothing but break her already shattered heart into thousands of pieces, and she failed to stop the tears from falling from her blue eyes.
While the young woman closed the portal, the woman with long black hair remained kneeling on the ground, her red suit around her while tears fell like a waterfall from her blue eyes, unable to hide all the pain she felt.
With a last sigh, red magic began to appear in her palms, lifting her off the ground and placing her on that altar on her knees, her mind still in pain.
Not caring that there were people near her, her magic began to destroy the temple.
“We have to go!” Exclaimed the young woman.
“Get out of here.” Answered the sorcerer. The young girl nodded, certain that her protector would be safe.
“I'll find you.” And with that, the girl concentrated and opened a portal.
The gazes of both sorcerers met.
“I opened the Darkhold. I must close it.” The woman's somewhat broken voice was the only thing that could be heard in the room. The man looked at her and nodded, it was the right thing to do. “No one will ever be tempted by it again.”
With her magic, she began to break the pillars, causing the temple to begin to crumble. She lifted the temple with a weight worth of tons, and placed it on top of her, destroying herself, and with it, all knowledge of the Darkhold.
And this Scarlet Witch may have given up at the end and ended her own life, but it was not the end of Cleopatra Kent's story.
The One Above All observed one of his most powerful creations, the Scarlet Witch, unique and powerful. With the potential to become the Ultimate Nexus.
It was sad that all that greatness did not have a teacher to guide it to the right path, Universe 616 had failed the Scarlet Witch. If she had been trained both in powers and emotionally, that event with traveling in the multiverse with Stephen Strange would not have happened. She might have even been able to take down Thanos much sooner.
His galactic gaze turned to the other universe, where the Scarlet Witch had not yet been forged, but was close to emerging, and like the woman of Universe 616, she had no guide. None of her genetic donors wanted her and everyone feared her.
No matter where you looked at it, the Scarlet Witch was going to resurface and surely destroy realities trying to find the same love that the Scarlet Witch of 616 tried to have.
No, she would destroy universes if she had to to get what she wanted. She is even more dangerous than the witch from Universe 616.
With a final farewell to the late Scarlet Witch of Universe 616, the being prepared for what was to come. The universe would be destroyed, probably, and the Scarlet Witch would be the cause.
Perhaps what these people needed was to know what was to come via the memories of the Scarlet Witch's counterpart from Universe 33. If they were true heroes, they would help Cleopatra Kent emerge from the darkness and become a Scarlet Witch of good.
Cleopatra Kent was no stranger to how it felt to be experimented on.
Those different faces didn't change the fact that she knew what was happening, they were experimenting on her. Giving her more powers perhaps, or testing theories on her. Using her to know the limits of humanity as the perfect mix between human and Kryptonian.
Every day, these mortals played at being gods, playing with things beyond human understanding, and even beyond what the gods could understand. They were trying to create something that they probably couldn't control.
Because after this, no one would ever experiment on her again. No one would ever control her again, that thought would not even cross the heads of her enemies. Never again.
Cleopatra was no stranger to pain, but she swore that each one of them would feel pain once she was free.
Everyone would pay.
Bruce Wayne opened his eyes only to be met with the scene that his companions and children were passed out.
In that giant room with armchairs and tables, his companions were passed out on them, not knowing that they were not where they were supposed to be, and that in front of them there was a giant white screen.
He could see Clark, Diana, Hal and other members of the League. He could even see the young men of Young Justice, including his four children, from the oldest Dick, to the youngest Damian. He was sure he could even see Ra's al Ghul.
Little by little, they began to wake up and complain, confused as to why they were there. Everyone fell silent when some words appeared on the big screen worthy of a theater.
"Watch Cleopatra Kent's counterpart, and avoid the tragedies and destruction she is about to bring, because once she awakens, no one will be able to stop her."
"Please, enjoy CleoDamien ."
