"I need $100."
Eddie's eyes went wide as he looked up at Steve from his place on the couch.
"For?" He asked.
"I would like to get my nails done with Robin." Steve said softly, giving Eddie a smile.
"I have to pay for it?" Eddie let out a chuckle.
"Robin said that you're supposed. She said boyfriends pay for their girls nails to get done. She said I shouldn't accept anything less." Steve said, moving to straddle Eddie's lap. Eddie's face softened at Steve's words.
"And you're my girl, aren't you baby?" Eddie smiled, resting his hands on Steve's hips.
"I am. I'm your baby girl." Steve nodded seriously.
"You are." Eddie agreed. "You are my baby girl, my princess, my lady."
Steve blushed. "Can I please get my nails done then? Its okay if not."
"There was never any doubt baby. You can get your nails done. I'll send you off with $200, okay? Go get lunch, buy yourself a new outfit too." Eddie smirked, pulling Steve closer by his hips. "When are you two going?"
Steve gasped at the movement, moaning softly when his cock rubbed against Eddie's. "T-Tomorrow."
"Amazing. I get all of tonight to ravish you then." Eddie leaned up, kissing Steve deeply.
Steve moaned into their kiss. "Please. Please wreck me."
"All you had to do was ask baby." Eddie stood from the couch, lifting Steve along with him with ease. He carried him off to the bedroom so the two could begin a night of debauchery.
---
"He gave you how much?" Robin gaped at him.
"$200. The nails alone will be close to $100, I know that. But he said we could go out for lunch and then I could get a new outfit." Steve smiled wide, clearly excited.
"Well, isn't he just an overachieving boyfriend." Robin laughed. "Where are we eating?"
"Somewhere simple, you know I don't care for fancy food. Probably a diner." Steve shrugged. "Come on, I'm driving."
"Are we getting food first?" Robin asked, climbing into Steve's car.
"No, definitely nails first." Steve said giddily. This was the first time getting his nails done professionally.
"Easy tiger. Let me call Chrissy first, I can't remember the name of the nail salon she frequents." Robin pulled out her phone, texting Eddie to let him know that the plan was in action and she and Steve were leaving the house. "She said its called Beyond Manicures."
"Odd name." Steve laughed, starting the car.
"She swears by it. Says they never do her wrong." Robin smirks. "Get to driving!"
---
Steve was overwhelmed in his choices, there were so many beautiful colors and styles he could choose from. He spent a solid 30 minutes trying to pick the perfect set.
"Should I call Eddie and ask his opinion on them?" Steve asked for the third time, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth.
"Steve, Eddie loves you so much, I think that he will 100% approve of whatever styles you choose." Robin sighed. Steve tried not to take it personally, he knew she was getting antsy. It probably wasn't fun for her, she never got her nails done. It wasn't her thing.
"Okay, I'm sorry Robs. I just want them to be perfect." Steve sighed.
"I know, Stevie. Show me your choices again and I will help you settle on one." Robin said, walking closer. Steve showed her his four options. "Okay, think of like, I don't know, how practical they will look with your every day outfits."
Steve carefully set down his blue and green options he had picked out. "I don't think those fit my theme too well."
"Okay! Down to two! We can work with this!" Robin grinned. "Do you want a hand with all the same colors or do you want to mix these colors?"
"I think I want all the same colors on each nail." Steve nodded.
"Okay, so, pink or purple?" Robin asked, squatting down next to him.
"Personally, with your complexion hun, pink would look amazing." The girl behind the counter grinned at them.
"Uh.." Steve blushed softly. "Pink please."
"Amazing choice." She smiled. "Come on back. Does your friend want to come too?"
"Oh boy, no, I am okay. Stevie, I'll be sitting out here in the lobby." Robin gave him an awkward wave and walked back over to the chairs.
"She does that every time." The girl laughed softly.
"Excuse me?" Steve asked as they walked back to the lady's table.
"Your friend, she comes in here a lot with her wife. She gets bored easy. She sat with Chrissy a couple times, but after a while, she just chose to sit in the lobby on her phone." She explained.
"You know Chrissy?" Steve asked, taking a seat.
"Of course! She is my favorite client. My name is Claire. I really hope you become a new client of mine too," Claire paused, not having gotten his name yet.
"Steve. And the girl in the lobby is Robin, just so you know." He smiled at her.
"Alright then Steve, lets get your nails done. Hopefully you love them so much you become a regular!" Claire grinned.
---
"They're sore." Steve whined softly, clacking his nail's against the table. He and Robin were sitting across from each other at a random diner they picked.
"Its normal. They'll hurt even worse if you keep tapping them against everything, Steven." Robin laughed. They had just ordered, making sure to get the greasiest, meatiest burgers on the menu.
"But I love them so much!" Steve whined, picking up his phone when the screen lit up. "Eddie said he loves them."
"God, you two are gross." Robin fake gagged. "What is he up to today?"
"Corroded Coffin had an interview in Indianapolis I guess." Steve shrugged. "Which worked out because we were planning to spend the day together anyway."
"Yeah, it did. You two have any plans tonight?" Robin asked.
"Probably not." Steve shrugged. "To be honest, I think we might just end up having se-"
"Ew! Gross! Stop!" Robin gasped out. "Fucking stop! You know I hate when you talk about your sex life!"
"What?! You tell me what you and Chrissy do all the time!" Steve huffed out.
"That's different!" Robin said, stealing a fry from Steve's plate. He slapped her hand away before she could take more.
"How is that different?" He asked.
"Because." She shrugged. "You and Eddie are gross. You do gross things."
"Oh, and you think I want to hear how you railed your wife with a strap on and then ate her out until she was crying?" Steve asked eyes wide.
"Of course. We are classy." Robin nodded.
"Classy?!" Steve gasped incredulously. "The fuck you are not! Eddie and I are classy!"
"Right, so the time he fucked you so hard while choking you that you came twice, untouched, before blacking out is classy?" Robin gagged after she said it.
Steve blushed. "T-That was really good actually."
"Was it?" Robin asked, looking curious.
"Yeah. Really fucking good." He nodded.
"Do do you think Chrissy would like that?" Robin asked.
"I think so." Steve nodded, finishing his burger. "Eddie had me tied up too. My wrists were bound above my head and then he practically bent me in half."
"Fuck, Chrissy is really flexible too!" Robin bit here lip, taking out her phone to take some notes.
"I am too, apparently." Steve laughed. "Must have been swimming."
"Must have." Robin laughed along. "Tell me more, I want to wreck her."
---
"Eddie said to pick a new outfit." Steve said, walking aimlessly through the mall with Robin. "All of these store suck."
"Okay, just because Eddie can afford to buy you gucci now-"
"Hey! I can afford gucci myself!" Steve huffed.
"What? With that OnlyFans account?" Robin cackled.
Steve blushed. "I don't have an OnlyFans!" He snapped. "Its FeetFinder."
"What?" Robin chocked.
"I'm kidding! Writing pays surprisingly well." Steve shrugs. "Eddie proof reads all of my stuff and gives me ideas. My first two books really took off. I kind of base it off Eddie and I, except Eddie isn't a vampire and I am not running around killing monsters with a bat full of nails."
"That would be insane." Robin shivered. "Instead, you get your nails done and dress pretty for your rockstar boyfriend!"
"Indeed!" Steve smiled. "Ooh! Look! They have skirts!"
"Goody, Chrissy has been begging me all day to get her something. She'll love a new skirt." Robin grinned, following Steve into the store. They were in there for maybe only ten minutes before Steve quickly grabbed a high waisted pink skirt, declaring he was finished.
"Already?" Robin gaped, eyes wide.
"I like this skirt, I don't see anything else cute here." He shrugged. "I'm not rushing you or anything, by all means, keep shopping. We have all day." Steve smiled at her kindly.
"Thank you." Robin nodded. "But I am also done, Chrissy would look great in this light blue dress!"
"That would look absolutely amazing on her! Are you showing her or is it a surprise?" Steve gushed.
"Hmm, a surprise I think." Robin nodded. "Are you going to pick a top for that outfit?"
"Of course. And shoes!" Steve nodded.
"Then lets go pay and get out of here." Robin laughed.
"Sure thing." Steve nodded, walking to the register. Robin follows and they both check out before moving on to look for another store.
"God, this mall actually sucks." Steve sighs, stepping into a Rue 21. "I see crop tops. I want one."
"I thought you just said the mall sucks?" Robin laughed.
"The mall does, I never said anything about Rue 21." Steve shrugs. "Pink or blue." He asked, holding up two cute little cropped tanks.
"That pink one will go better with your skirt." Robin pointed to it. "And your skin tone."
"Great!" Steve grinned. "Do you think they have heals here?"
"I am not letting you buy heals here. We'll stop somewhere." Robin laughed.
"Wait! I think I have a pair in like the back of the closet at home or something." Steve walked up and paid for his top, thanking the cashier before moving back over to Robin. "I have to call Eddie and check."
"Is he even home yet?" Robin asked.
"Huh, no clue." Steve pressed call anyway, holding the phone up to his ear as they walked toward the exit of the mall.
"Yes baby?" Eddie asked, picking up after only the second ring.
"Eds, do you know if I have that one pair of heals in the closet? They were white and kind of had straps." Steve shrugged even though Eddie couldn't see. He heard a chuckle and some commotion.
"I can check, baby." Eddie said.
"Ooh, you're home?" Steve grinned.
"I am, I got back like 20 minutes ago." Eddie laughs. There were a few thumps and then Eddie laughed again. "Found them. I think. I'll send you a picture and you tell me if these are the right heals, love."
"Okay." Steve pulled the phone from his ear, waiting for the photo to come in. He smiled up at Robin when it did, showing her the heals. "These are it!"
"Those will go great with the outfit!" Robin smiled. Steve put the phone back up to his ear.
"Those are the right heals!" He said.
"Perfect, I'll set them out then. I told you to pick a new outfit up today because I wanted to take you to dinner tonight." Eddie said, Steve could hear the grin in his voice.
"What's the occasion?" Steve asked.
"Because I love you." Eddie replied. "Isn't that special enough?"
"More than enough! I'll be home in 30 minutes! See you then, love you." Steve hung up and squealed. "Robs! He's taking me out to dinner!"
"Cute!" Robin laughed, holding the door open for Steve as they left the building.
"I love going on dates with him so much!" Steve smiled. "Don't get me wrong, I love staying in with him too, but god I love going out and showing him off!"
"You two make my teeth ache." Robin groaned.
"You used to say that Chrissy made your teeth ache too!" Steve laughed.
"Yeah, before I married her. Now its just you two making my teeth ache." Robin muttered. "Married life has settled her cuteness, I have watched her pull hair out of her ass crack. I have pulled her hair from my own ass crack. She is not cute anymore."
Steve burst out laughing, using the cars door handle to support himself. "I-I.." he took a second to catch his breath. "Do you know h-how much hair Eddie has?"
Robin's eyes widened. "Get in the car, this conversation is over."
"Eddie has long hair too, Robs." Steve laughed. "I have also watched him pull it from his ass crack."
"Gross, enough!" Robin fake gagged.
"I have woken up with it in my mouth." Steve said, starting the car.
"You too?!" Robin gasped.
"I am going to assume you mean Chrissy's hair by that one." Steve laughed. "But yes, I wake up with his hair in my mouth sometimes. Shits everywhere around the house too because he plays with it so much."
"Chrissy too!" Robin laughed. "We need to get one of those special vacuums for like pet hair or something. Follow them around with it or something."
Steve laughed even harder as he pulled a piece of Eddie's hair from his shirt, holding it up to show Robin. The two of them died laughing when Robin did the same, pulling a piece of long, light blonde hair off of her own jacket.
---
Steve drove back to his and Eddie's house. "Thank you for hanging out with me today, Robin." Steve leaned over and hugged her close.
"Always, Dingus." Robin smiled, climbing out of the car and making her way over to hers. "Tell me how dinner goes."
"Of course!" Steve grins, he grabbed his bags from the car and ran up the porch steps, running into the house. "Eds!"
"In the kitchen, baby!" Eddie called back. Steve dropped his bags and ran into the kitchen. "Babe!" Steve jumped into his arms.
"Hi, hun." Eddie caught him, holding him close.
"When are we leaving?" Steve asked, pulling Eddie into a kiss.
"Around 7pm." Eddie said, carefully setting him back down. "We can shower together before we get ready if you'd like."
"Ohh, god yes." Steve agreed.
"Just a shower, hun." Eddie chuckled.
"What? Why?" Steve pouted.
"Because we have plans. You're not the one and done type. If I fuck you, you're going to be gagging for it until I fuck you again. We don't have enough time for me to wreck you the way you like, baby." Eddie explained, kissing him again.
"Rude." Steve crossed his arms but still leaned in to kiss Eddie back. "But you are right."
"I'm usually right." Eddie smirks.
"Hey, lets not get ahead of ourselves now." Steve laughed, pulling Eddie close again. "Come on, lets go shower."
"Go start it up." Eddie slapped his ass before shoving him gently in the direction of the stairs. "I want to eat this real quick." He held up and sandwich.
"Are you going to be able to-" Steve stopped himself short. "I don't even know why I'm asking, I know you'll be able to eat later too."
"Exactly." Eddie smirked, taking a large bite. "Go start the shower."
"Going." Steve rolled his eyes before heading upstairs.
---
Once they were finished showering together, Steve made Eddie get ready in the guest room.
"Seriously?" Eddie pouted. He was standing naked in the doorway of their bathroom, nothing but a towel wrapped around his hair.
"Yes! I want to surprise you! You haven't seen this outfit yet!" Steve huffed. He at least had enough modesty to wear a towel around his waist, much to Eddie's dismay.
"Stevie, baby, I know you. Its pink and its going to be showing off so much skin I'll end up hemorrhaging." Eddie whines.
"Well, if you know me and my outfits so well, I can just put it in the closet and wear something I usually do then, huh?" Steve huffed out, annoyed.
"Okay, baby, I'm sorry. That was mean of me. Its so sweet of you to want to surprise me baby girl. I'll go get ready in the other room." Eddie sighed. "Can I have a kiss?"
"When you come back." Steve huffed.
"It was mean of me to say that." Eddie said softly, pulling Steve into his arms. He kissed his forehead softly. "I'm sorry, hun."
"Its okay. You were kind of right." Steve shrugs.
"Still wasn't nice." Eddie said softly. "I'm sure that no matter what you picked, it will look amazing on you like always. Just like your nails! They're just amazing baby." Eddie lifted his hand to his mouth, kissing Steve's knuckles.
Steve blushed and leaned up to give Eddie a real kiss. "It is pink and it does show a lot of skin." He whispered.
"Good, I can't wait to see it." Eddie smiled. "Get dressed, pretty girl." Steve let out a soft giggle as Eddie kissed his cheek and left the room.
He quickly dressed, doing his usual hair routine. He went easy on the hairspray, not wanting to overdo it. He wanted his hair to look almost natural and fluffy, not that it wasn't. Once he was done, he sprayed himself with one of his favorite scents before grabbing his heals and making his way to the guest room. Just as he lifted his hand to knock, the door opened.
Eddie's jaw dropped when he took Steve in. "Gorgeous. Absolutely stunning." Eddie grabbed him by his hips and pulled him into a deep kiss.
"Do you love it?" Steve smirked.
"I always love you in anything pink and short." Eddie grinned. "But yes, I love this. You look to die for."
"Good! Lets go!" Steve grinned. "I'm not putting the heals on until we get there."
"Good choice." Eddie nodded. "Wear some slippers to the car then, so you have something soft to wear on the way home."
"You're so smart and handsome." Steve blushed a deep red, biting his lip as he made eye contact with Eddie.
"Fuck, don't look at me like that." Eddie groaned.
"Why not?" Steve laughed.
"Because I can't afford to pop a boner right now, love." Eddie laughs, kissing Steve's cheek. "Now put those slippers on so we can go!"
"Okay, okay! I'm coming!" Steve gasped, slipping them on his feet and rushing out the door with Eddie. "Shit, I know its warm now, but its going to get chilly later-"
"You can wear my jacket if you get cold, no worries." Eddie smiled, opening the car door for him. Steve slipped into the passenger seat easily.
"Thanks, Eds." Steve beamed up at him, pulling him down for a kiss before Eddie could close the door. He couldn't ignore the way Eddie's cheeks tinged a light pink. "Love you, baby."
"Love you too, Princess."
---
Steve felt like the drive to the restaurant took years. He was antsy to get out of the car already. He wanted to be sitting across from Eddie at a fancy table like yesterday already.
"Here!" Eddie said, finally turning into the parking lot of a quaint little Italian place.
"Fuck." Steve moaned.
"Good?" Eddie asked, looking a little nervous.
"More than good, I want saucy, cheesy pasta! God! And any form of garlic bread!" Steve moaned out.
"That good, huh?" Eddie laughed. His Stevie was a foodie and he absolutely loved it.
"You know how much I love pasta!" Steve said, carefully slipping on his heals. "Are you opening my door-"
"You know I'm opening your door." Eddie laughed. He turned off the car and came around to Steve's side, carefully helping him out of the car before locking the car and walking Steve inside the restaurant with an arm around his waist.
"Hello, name for your reservation?" A young kid asked once they were inside.
"Munson." Eddie smiled, watching the kids eyes widen when he looked up and recognized Eddie.
"O-Oh!" The kid gasped and nodded. "Right this way, sirs."
"Ma'am." Steve corrected softly.
"Of course, ma'am. I'm sorry about that." He looked so scared as he glanced up at Eddie.
"Don't sweat it kid, mistakes happen." Eddie said softly, patting his shoulder. "Come back with a piece of paper and a pen and I can give you an autograph."
"R-Really?" The kid gasped out, seating them at their table.
"Really." Steve nodded, giving the kid a bright smile.
"You honestly might want his too, he's a famous author." Eddie chuckled. The kid turned to Steve with a confused look and he felt his cheek color at the attention.
"Uhm, yeah. You heard of the Upside Down book series?" Steve asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh my god! You're.. you-"
"I don't like using my real name for my books, but yes, I am Joseph Keery." Steve smirked.
"You two are my idols!" The kid gasped. "I won't tell anyone! I swear, but I would love an autograph from you, too!"
"Of course!" Steve smiled. "Go get some paper." The kid nodded and rushed off.
"I think we just made that kids night." Eddie laughed softly.
"We really did." Steve laughed. Once they both signed the paper for the boy, the waitress came over and took their orders, Eddie ordered a bottle of champagne for them to share and that's when the night took a turn for the best.
The waitress brought out the drinks for them, leaving the bottle at the table. Steve picked up his glass and noticed the glittering ring at the bottom almost instantly. He looked up, already tearing up.
"E-Eddie-"
"Stevie, you are the love of my life. Honestly, you are more important to me than my music." Steve couldn't hold back the water works if he tried now. "I want you in my life for the rest of it, however long that may be. When we started talking, I was so far from being able to uphold a stable, committed, relationship with anyone. So far from being able to show my love freely to anyone who wasn't my uncle or those damn kids who hang around us. But you, god Stevie, you changed me for the better, taught me it was okay to love and be loved in return. I'd do everything over again if it meant I got you in the end, every time. This has been the most amazing three years of my life, and sharing it with you made it all the more worth it. So I was wondering, if you could maybe pencil it in to your busy little schedule, if maybe, you'd like to marry me?" Eddie finished off by getting down on one knee, and holding Steve's glass out to him.
"I'm not doing all the work baby, I got down here and you know how bad my knees are, so if your answer is yes, you gotta chug this to get your ring." Eddie smirked. Steve let out a sob that was mixed with a laugh. Tears were pouring down his cheeks at he drank the champagne and caught the ring between his teeth. He held it out to him, wiping his cheeks.
"Ask me again." Steve whispered, eyes shining brightly.
"Steven, light of my life, baby girl, will you marry me?" Eddie asked, grinning. Steve pulled him in for a deep kiss.
"Yes!" Steve nodded, letting Eddie lift him and spin him around. "Of course, you dork!"
"Amazing!" Eddie laughed in his ear and it was the best sound. Steve's favorite sound. The clapping of the restaurants other patrons registered in his ears and he blushed bright red, wiping his cheeks once Eddie set him down. "Are you still okay to eat dinner here?"
"Of course!" Steve grinned, trying to cover his pink cheeks.
"You're so sweet baby." Eddie smiled.
They were about part way through their dinner when Steve realized something. "Hold on a second!"
"What, baby?" Eddie smirked.
"You didn't have an interview today, did you?" Steve gasped, pointing an accusing finger at Eddie.
"I did not. I was here, setting things up so I could propose tonight." Eddie chuckled.
"Then you planned my outing with Robin today too, didn't you!" Steve said.
"Yes, I told her weeks ago, picking today to ask you. Told her to plant it in your head that you wanted to get your nails done. The shopping trip too. And now look, you look beautiful, as always, and you have gorgeous nails so you can show off your beautiful ring." Eddie smiled softly, picking up Steve's hand to kiss directly over the ring.
"You're too good." Steve rolled his eyes, cheeks going pink again.
"I know." Eddie laughed.
"So, does this mean I get my sex when I get home?" Steve asked, watching as Eddie's cheeks darkened. He smirked.
"We can have as much as you like. We are celebrating, after all." Eddie smirked back, lifting his glass to toast to Steve. "To getting married!"
"To getting married!" Steve grinned, leaning over to kiss the life out of his fiancé.
