Spiderling

as a new day begane peter is sitting behind the counter, when an unexpected guest made entry. nick fury came to the counter ordering a black coffe. peter tried acting not suprised like he didn't know the man.

after peter made the man his drink, Fury accepted the coffee with a nod of thanks before turning to leave. As he walked away, Peter couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of something much bigger, because peter might not know the man but he doubts that the man himself goes to get coffee like he doesn;t have 'more important things to do then get coffee' And whatever it was, he knew he needed to be ready for it.

As Peter looked down, he noticed a business card and a note on the counter that read, “We would be rather happy if you and your two friends joined us at S.H.I.E.L.D.” At the bottom, there was a place to circle either “Yes” or “No.”

Peter picked up a pen that layed on the floor already for a month. his mind racing with possibilities. After a moment of contemplation, he circled “Yes.” on the note.

Almost immediately, a man in a suit approached, glancing at the business card. He gave a nod of acknowledgment before looking up at Peter. Without a word, the man turned and left the cafe, leaving Peter standing there, the gravity of his decision settling in.

Peter took a deep breath, feeling a mix of anticipation and apprehension. He knew that whatever lay ahead would be challenging. It was time to prepare for the adventures and responsibilities that awaited them at S.H.I.E.L.D.

The next day, a sleek black car arrived at the cafe, and the same man from before stepped out.

“Are you guys ready?” the man asked, his tone brisk and professional.

“I suppose so,” Loki replied, glancing at Peter and Harley. His eyes zeroed in on Peter, a hint of anger simmering beneath the surface. “Though I wish we had been consulted before agreeing.”

Peter met Loki’s gaze, guilt flickering in his eyes. “I’m sorry, Loki. I just… it felt like the right thing to do.”

Harley, sensing the tension, stepped forward with her usual exuberance. “Come on, guys! This is S.H.I.E.L.D.! It’s going to be amazing!”

“How do you know about shield?” Peter asked first looking at Harley then at Loki.

“What? She had to know, plus-“

The man in the suit cleared his throat, breaking the moment. “If you’re ready, we should get going. Fury doesn’t like to be kept waiting.”

With that, the trio piled into the car, the weight of their new commitment heavy in the air. As the car pulled away, Peter couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and uncertainty about the path they were about to embark on.

—————————

As the trio arrives at an airport a helicopter is seen waiting for them.

“This is where I leave you, you just get on and get off after you land at your destination” the man in the suit said to Peter being the only one that waited while the two got ready to get on the helicopter.

“Got it thanks, for the ride sir” Peter said with a nod

As the helicopter lifted off, the trio watched the ground fall away beneath them. The roar of the blades filled the cabin, making conversation difficult. Peter, Loki, and Harley exchanged glances, each lost in their own thoughts about what lay ahead.

After a short flight, the helicopter approached a massive structure in the sky. It was the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, an enormous aircraft carrier suspended in mid-air, surrounded by clouds and sunlight glinting off its metal surface.

“Wow,” Harley breathed, her eyes wide with amazement. “this is something else.”

Peter nodded, equally awestruck. “It’s incredible”

Loki, less impressed by human technology, still acknowledged the grandeur. “It is…impressive, I suppose.”

The helicopter landed smoothly on the helicarrier’s deck. As the doors opened, a gust of wind and the hum of machinery greeted them. Agents bustled around, coordinating various tasks with precision.

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent approached them, her demeanor no-nonsense. “Welcome to the helicarrier. I’m Agent Hill. Director Fury is waiting for you in the briefing room. Follow me.”

They followed Agent Hill through a labyrinth of corridors, the interior of the helicarrier a blend of high-tech equipment and military efficiency. Harley’s excitement was palpable, while Peter tried to memorize the route, just in case. Loki maintained a facade of indifference, though he couldn’t help but be curious about what S.H.I.E.L.D. had in store for them.

Finally, they entered a large room dominated by a circular table and multiple screens displaying various global hotspots. Nick Fury stood at the head of the table, his presence commanding and authoritative.

Finally, they entered a large room dominated by a circular table and multiple screens displaying various global hotspots. Nick Fury stood at the head of the table, his presence commanding and authoritative.

“Welcome,” Fury said, his voice deep and resonant. “You must be wondering what we want with you. Well, we want you to work with us. We’ve been watching you, and to say the least, we’re impressed. Peter, you graduated college twice in two years; we’d like to keep you close.”

Peter Parker shifted uncomfortably but nodded, his curiosity piqued.

Fury continued, turning to Harley Quinn. “Harley, you’re from another dimension, so naturally, we need to keep an eye on you. But if you show us what you’re capable of, you might just as well work here.”

Harley smirked, twirling a strand of her hair. “Sounds like fun. As long as there are no boring rules.”

Fury’s gaze then fell on Loki. “And Loki, the guy who tried to kill me… I’ll be honest, we have to keep an eye on you. It was supposed to be a job for the Avengers, but you seem to prefer dealing with them.” fury motions to peter and harley

Loki chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “What can I say? I like to keep things interesting.”

Fury paused, his gaze sweeping across the room. “So, what do you think?”

Peter adjusted his glasses, glancing at the screens displaying global hotspots. “It’s… a lot to take in. But if I can help, then count me in.”

Harley leaned back in her chair, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. “I’m in, but only if I get to have some fun. No dull meetings, okay?”

Fury nodded, his expression stern. “As long as you follow the rules, Harley.”

Loki folded his arms, a sly smile on his lips. “And what exactly do you expect me to do? Play nice with the mortals?”

Fury met Loki’s gaze without flinching. “We expect you to use your abilities for the greater good. You owe us that much.”

Loki’s smile faded slightly, but he gave a reluctant nod. “Very well. For now.”

“Agent hill will be escort you three separately to see where you work best” fury says

“Will we be separated?” Loki asked.

“Yes. Will that be a problem?” Fury responded.

Loki glanced at Peter, who gave a slight nod. “No, it won’t be,” Loki answered.

After the three were placed in different rooms, alarms started blaring.

“What is that?” Peter asked another agent.

“We’re being attacked. Stay here,” the agent replied, turning to leave.

“Oh no, no, I won’t be sitting here while my friends might be in trouble. I’m coming with you,” Peter declared, heading out to find Loki and Harley.

The agent, now distressed, called after him, “Um, sir, that’s not a good idea! Sir!”

Peter, ignoring the warning, saw people running and joined the fray, heading to the place where they had been separated. After checking several rooms and hallways, he finally came upon a scene: Loki was holding an agent by the neck, shouting, “Tell me where my siblings are, or I swear to Odin you won’t see your family again!”

“Ahh, Loki, do you see me and Harley as your siblings?” Peter interjected.

“What? No—” Loki began, but Peter interrupted with a grin, “I’m glad you feel the same.”

Loki mumbled, flustered, “Whatever…”

“Come on now, let go of the man and let’s go find our sister,” Peter urged, approaching Loki.

Peter glanced down the hallway Loki had come from and saw injured bodies. Turning back to Loki, he asked, “…Are you okay?”

“Feeling better now, I guess,” Loki shrugged, releasing the man who slumped to the floor.

After navigating several hallways, they heard the distinctive sound of a hammer slamming on the floor. They immediately decided to follow the sound. When they arrived, they saw Harley fighting off drones.

Peter noticed a drone sneaking up behind Harley. Without hesitation, he pulled out his pocket knife and leaped onto the drone, disabling it. Landing behind Harley, Peter grinned as she glanced back, relieved to see her friends had her back.

Loki took charge, his movements precise and powerful. He unleashed blasts of magic energy, systematically targeting and destroying drones one by one. His attacks were deliberate, each strike effectively neutralizing a drone.

Peter moved above and around Loki, using his web-shooters to zip between high vantage points. From these positions, he launched webs and threw his knife to disable drones that Loki couldn’t reach. His agility and quick reflexes allowed him to take out drones with swift, coordinated actions.

Harley, ever the wild card, darted around the sides of the room, smashing drones with her hammer. She used her agility to stay ahead of the drones, her movements unpredictable and chaotic, making it difficult for the drones to target her effectively.

As they fought, the trio communicated with quick, concise signals. Loki would signal Peter to take out a drone he couldn’t reach, while Peter would alert Harley to incoming threats. Harley, in turn, called out targets for Loki to blast or for Peter to disable.

Their teamwork was seamless, each member playing to their strengths and covering each other’s weaknesses. Loki’s calculated precision, Peter’s agile versatility, and Harley’s raw power and unpredictability made them a formidable team.

The room quickly cleared of threats as they fought alongside one another. They moved in perfect sync, their trust in each other evident in every action. The drones didn’t stand a chance against their combined might and strategy.

After the last drone fell, they took a moment to catch their breath, their eyes meeting in mutual respect and camaraderie. They had proven once again that together, they were unstoppable.

As the trio made their way, they came across a room with ice coating the floor.

“Harley?” Peter looked at her.

“On it, boss,” Harley replied. Touching her heels, her rollerblades transformed into ice skates. As she swiftly made her way across the ice, she noticed a lever and quickly pulled it.

Near Peter and Loki, a secret door opened. As they called Harley back, they headed inside and were met with the main area. They realized that all of this was a test. Computers showed footage of the trio fighting, finding each other, demonstrating their teamwork and loyalty. They had proven their resolve not to die.

“Well, well, I guess you have some experience, Mister Parker, Miss Quinn, and… Loki,” Nick Fury said. appearing behind them.
