promise to be dazzling

Alison Blaire hates to do this;

she is a singer, not a fighter.

But the stage tonight is eclipsed by the ire of armed and masked and shrouded threats,

so now her unsung verses must set a fire that can and will and should burn infinitely brighter.

With a song in her heart by the strings and a pulse of pure light,

A dazzling cascade shall vividly enrich and paint the doomed night,

As, in self-defence, she counters with a radiance so bright —

That when she draws out all of her bioluminescent might,

Dazzler knocks out wholly the first line of adversaries she finds in her sight,

And their darkness swiftly becomes the songbird’s flight.
