Cheating

Tony couldn't believe it.

This had been his one day off this week.

And now here he was.

Cradling a newborn tiny baby in his arms, as Peter was escorted into the wheelchair the paramedics had brought round for him to take him to the waiting ambulance.

If the hisses of pain were anything to go by, the teen was very sore.

Tony refused to look at the very bloody incontinence pad left behind Peter as he transferred to another pad in the chair.

The paramedics placed a blanket over the boy, and then Peter was looking up at Tony with a whine, arms out to take his baby back.

"He's very cute Pete." Tony finally said, bending down to hand the baby back to the very nervous new father.

Peter nodded, and then went back to staring at the baby now nestled close to his chest.

Tony was lost.

He was breaking, but he couldn't. Because Peter needed him.

He had needed him for the past year.

How long had this been going on?

How long had Steven been doing this to him?

How long had Peter been coming over with this baby in his belly, because the paramedic had suggested that the baby was to term.

Nine months.

This had been going on for at least nine months.

Tony.

Was breaking.

There was about an hour left of the school day when they eventually saw Parker again.

The guys had started a game of dodge-ball in the corner, but Flash wasn't joining in.

He was sat in the corner by himself.

Wondering when Parker had managed to grab himself a person to even get him pregnant.

Because as far as Flash was concerned, Parker had no game whatsoever.

The paramedics wheeled Peter through the heavy door, and the little boy looked tiny in the large wheelchair.

In his arms was a small bundle, and Parker wasn't even looking at them.

He was staring down at the bundle with the most confused look on his face.

Flash hadn't been ready for this.

He had hoped Leeds was joking.

Because maybe.

Just maybe.

Parker could have taken the time of day to actually look at him.

But now he had someone.

Someone who he liked enough to get him pregnant at least.

Flash tuned into what Parker was saying to Leeds and Jones.

"I didn't know. I. I didn't know!!" Parker was repeating as Jones looked down at the baby with a frown.

"Who..." She clearly wanted to ask the question they were all wanting to know the answer to.

"Skip." Peter whispers so quietly, if Flash was any less nosy, he wouldn't have caught it. But as it was, Flash was very nosy, so his ears picked up the words.

"I'll kill him." Jones snarled. "I'll castrate it and make him eat it." She clenched her hand in a fist.

"Get in line." Tony Stark said, coming from the depths of that changing room.

Parker hadn't lied.

He really did know Tony Stark!!

But Flash was too fussed about the fact that Parker had given birth in the school changing rooms.

Parker looked really bad. Like he'd been squeezed through a tornado.

Then again, he probably had.

The way he'd been screaming in there, it was definitely painful.

Flash knew from films that it definitely hurt. The way Parker had screamed though, had been enough to put the gossiping girls in the corner into a tizz.

"I'm never having a baby." Cindy Moon was giggling to Christi Weaver, as the other girl nodded, looking over at where Parker was now being wheeled away to the ambulance outside.

Flash didn't blame her.

He hadn't missed the very...bloody yellow bags Nurse Meg had left the room with five minutes earlier. Parker had bled a lot. Flash wasn't sure if it was possible to bleed that much and still be okay. Parker just looked pale and tired.

Flash wasn't sure where they went from here.

Where did Parker go from here?

Looking over at Leeds and Jones, it was clear they didn't know where they went from here.

And Stark, who was trailing dejectedly behind the paramedics, carrying Parker's bag, certainly didn't know where they were going.

Outside, it would make this real.

It would make this absolute fuck up of a day a reality.

Parker would have a bay, he'd have someone who would actually need him.

Like he has never needed Flash.

The way Flash needs him.

May knew the boys down at the police station.

They were Ben's old buddies.

Ben's friends.

She knew they wouldn't mind her paying the newest inmate in the jail cells a visit.

To think she'd said she loved him.

When in reality he loved someone else.

It was despicable really.

To think he'd cheated on her.

He'd given his heart to another.

She'd seen the signs.

The way he was drawing away from her.

He didn't want her anymore, but always came home satisfied.

She had been gathering the evidence.

Whispered conversations in the living room, when she knew he was on the phone.

Murmurs through the wall, probably telling Peter not to worry, but she knew Peter probably knew. Because Peter knew everything.

Because Steven was cheating on her with Peter.

She drew up at the precinct with her handbag clasped close.

She'd get her revenge if it was the last thing she did.

May stepped into the jail cell.

Ben's old friends had let her in without question, and the security cameras had somehow been fried. They left her alone to look into it.

Steven smiled up at her from his cot.

"Hello May." He smirked.

"You cheating bitch." She smiled. And drew the secateurs from the depths of her handbag.
