Constellations dust the dark navy blue sky, frogs croaking by the pond beach in front of the Stark cabin residence. A small arachnid has designed a special dew sprinkled web on the porch where Tony sat, watching the last bits of the sunset while deep in thought. His thoughts consist of his two kids, the spider in the corner of his eye reminding him of one of his said kids. After Thanos, he hasn't taken a single second for granted and while he misses the tower? He'd never go back, it was for the best that he didn't keep the lavish lifestyle forever- Besides, Morgan deserves to see the stars without light pollution and so does Peter. He rests his head on his chin, eyes heavy and tired while he slowly closes them for a moment. Peter has exams tomorrow, he notes to himself, and he'll need a ride to school but Morgan has preschool- He starts using that brain of his to think of solutions, taking in the sound of frogs and crickets and the sweet smell of fresh rain on grass to keep himself grounded. This could take mere seconds, but in those seconds he has his eyes closed? He doesn't notice one of the bedroom lights turning on, plus he's too focused on the sound of frogs to hear the hushed giggles and light footsteps on old wood floors from upstairs.

Peter was tossing and turning, bored and unable to sleep due to testing anxiety but he doesn't wanna risk waking his little sister or the old man who would normally be asleep just down the hall. He caves in, rolling the old drawer open in his night stand to pull out his drawing note book and a pen so he can at least keep his active mind distracted till it will hopefully settle before sunrise. But someone else has different plans, looking out of her sticker covered window to see her dad outside rather than in bed. Those butterfly and Frozen stickers are starting to peel from constant moisture from the outside world, some even fading from sun exposure but that doesn't stop Morgan from trying to preserve them by pressing them harder against the glass. It was what she was doing when she noticed her father anyway, but she has her father's mind and immediately thinks of ways to do things she normally couldn't do when hes just down the hall. She quietly hops down from her window sill and tip toes out of her room, hissing as her squeaky door opens at an agonizing pace. Morgan freezes, but doesn't hear the door open downstairs or Tony calling out for her to go back to bed- She silently takes a breath of relief, hands hugging her sleeping beauty PJs nervously while she walks ever so slowly to Peter's room. His door has Spider Man stickers, a poster and a small white board with red dry erase markers hanging by a cheap thin rope in the dead center of the Spider chaos. Said white board says "DND", warning whoever sees it that he wishes to be left alone but Morgan never really listened to that board. Instead, she reached up and opened the door, her shadow casting into his room with the faint hallway lights glowing behind her. He hears the mischievous giggle before anything else, but his spidey senses don't kick off so he doesn't panic as he looks up from his note book to see Morgan and her messy hair waddling into his room. "... It's 11:34 at night, Morgs-" He states matter of fact like, but the 8 year old shrugs with a knowing smile. "And?? You can't sleep, I can't sleep and dads outside! I say we raid the fridge-" Morgan says with a voice of confidence, making Peter snort a bit and put the notebook aside. "And uh... What if we get caught?? It's getting close to midnight and-" Morgan cuts her old brother off, groaning in annoyance as she takes his hands and pulls on him dramatically. "You're no fuuuuun~!! Come on, dad won't get that upset and don't those chocolate popsicles sound good right now?" Peter laughs a bit, caving in to his sister's gentle peer pressure as he quietly stands up out of bed and grins a bit. "Ok, ok fine... And it's fudge popsicles by the way-"

The two trouble makers make their way down the stairs, quiet as they can be while Tony finally pulls out of his thoughts long enough to hear giggles from inside the house. He snaps his head up, seeing that Morgan forgot one important detail... She still has her lights in her bedroom turned on, forgetting to turn them off to show she could still be in bed- 'Oh, two can play at that game' he thinks to himself, getting up slowly to stretch with a smile. Inside the house, Peter is the only one tall enough to open the freezer door to pull out the sweet treats they worked so hard to get a hold of. He quietly fights with the box of Fudgsicle brand Fudge pops, quickly getting them their two before perfectly placing the box back where it belongs. It looks like a gorilla tried to tear it apart, but Peter doesn't think about that as he hands Morgan her treat and opens his. Their backs face away from the door way, so as Tony lowers himself low to the ground and opens the door? They don't hear or see it, the ex Avenger grinning to himself before standing up and leaning against the entryway to watch them for a moment. The speakers from his small work shop play Journey, the house is otherwise dark and it feels right. Of course he's not mad at those kids, in fact he quietly moved in and mumbled in the same matter of fact tone Peter used just minutes ago. "Hey uh, it's 15 minutes to midnight and you're not supposed to feed gremlins past that time or they turn into stabby lil miscreants-" Oh the smile on his face when both kids jump at his words, Morgan pointing behind Peter who quickly turns around in shock. "Oh hey! Uh... H-Hows it goin', Mr. Stark? Lovely weather were having right?" The teen jests, making Tony snort and laugh a bit. "So who's ideas was this? Oh, I want one too by the way so scooch over and lemme get one too!" Peter points at Morgan, who points right back at him with no hesitation. Like true siblings, they immediately blame one another as Tony pulls out the heavily damaged box with a dramatic gasp. "What happened to the box!? It's like Uncle Thor came in and absolutely tore it to shreds like the cave man he is-" Peter chuckles in a guilty manner, making Tony pat back as if saying 'just messing with you, kid' before opening the Popsicle and enjoying the treat with everyone in the kitchen. But within minutes, there's a harsh cough of a stern doctor that makes even Tony feel like a kid in trouble with his eyes wide looking towards the stairs with everyone else. There stands Stephen Strange, wearing dark navy silk robes and slippers with his brow raised and arms crossed while making eye contact with the kids before Tony. "So... Enabling bad behavior are we?? We don't feed gremlins past midnight, Tony, we've been over this-" He jokes slightly, but there's still a small bit of parental sternness in his voice. Said man blinks twice before offering the other half of his melting Popsicle, grinning like a child who got caught with his hands in a cookie jar. "If you don't ground us, you can have the other half of my popsicle and a hug-" The mechanic says with a cheeky tilt of the head, waving said popsicle around a bit as if trying to bait the sleepy wizard into a trap. And said wizard sighs, unable to stay too stern as he yawns and walks over with his feet dragging against the creaking old wood under his fluffy red slippers. But Stephen instead saunters past the kids, ruffling Morgan's hair and patting Peters back before playfully shoving Tony out of the way to get the freezer. "How dare you offer me half a Popsicle and a hug?? I'm getting a full popsicle, give me a kiss and I'll pretend I didn't see anything for one night." He mumbles sweetly, the short mechanic laughing as he's playfully shoved out of the way. "Ok, ok you win! Just a warning though, Peter-" Stephen pulls out the dismantled box from the freezer and sets it down on the counter, looking over at the teen whose name was rushed from Tony's mouth in slight bewilderment. "Did the box owe you money?? And you put it back like you totally didn't touch it, I dunno if I should be nervous or worried!" Morgan giggles as the two other boys laugh a bit, Stephen pulling out a Popsicle before simply taking the rest out of the mangled box and setting them down in the freezer door. "No point in keeping the box, yeah?? Only two left anyway-" He states before opening his popsicle and leaning against the smaller man next to him, watching the way Morgan and Peter poke at each other playfully. "... By the way, Morgan, I know it was you because I could hear your door since it's due for repair-" The girl looks over at Stephen with a guilty look, but the doctor only smiles and chuckles a bit. "What kind of example are you showing these kids, Tony??" He then looks down at the once king of New York, who looks up at him with tired but loving eyes and a smile. "The good kind, Stevie Wonder... The good kind-" Strange sighs happily, leaning down to steal a small kiss from Stark who returns it before pulling away a few seconds later. "Yeah... I'll agree with you just this once-"
