Peter Parker—or well, Spider-Man—saw himself as a saviour, a fault, first and a still growing teenager second, almost everybody he met in the hero community that met and personally bonded with him knew that
And they also knew that in their own ways, they wanted to save Spider-Man but how could you do that when the said subject in question refused help? Simple, you offer it in small simple ways that are barely noticeable(god knows because when spidey finds out one attempt?? he’ll be shutting that down and running away from it like a cat touching water)
So what if the ultimates seem to always be there when the webslinger was feeling particularly sluggish, they’re just there to catch up(and keep an eye on him, the last time he walked around the trisekllion all sluggish and barely there, he toppled off the island and crashed into the ocean and sported a 140 fever..)
So what if Tyrone—or, cloak—kept engulfing him with that cloak of his and teleporting him to his needed location(s) without any mention and stuck around till he was done , he thought the web slinger could use some help(literally, cloak had a sharper attention to detail than anyone suspected, he knew on these days spidey most likely broke half of his bones and tried to be mature—more like nick fury— and walk it off)
So what if whenever Peter went on patrol, all his usual spots were already being looked over by all of his teams in a buddy system, they just got bored and wanted extra experience(the spider wasn’t feeling 100% on those days too, they somehow always have a sixth sense for that so what better way to share the load than snatching it away and making it their business??)
And in the end, after those days spidey was back on his feet, being his usual free spirited, jokey and lighthearted self, and if he were to raise suspicion when he got better?? They’d just smile, shake their heads and tell him they don’t know what he’s talking about and leave him confused
After all, he saw them all in their lows and highs(the original team could vouch for that, that’s certain.) and helped shoulder the load whenever the dark reminders of their past creeps up on them like a shadow, it’s only right to offer him the same even if he would never accept it, That’s their leader after all and they’ll be dammed if they let him work himself to death, while the world needs Spider-Man, the SHIELD family needs their heart and soul, the man that bought them all together.
