Fucked, completely fucked. That was Yelena's definition now. She's fighting an evil Captain America.
But don't worry, he's not her father. And yes John Walker.
It's confusing, right? Let me explain.
Anyway, after two years she came back from the Blip and went after Clint Barton at Christmas and narrowly missed killing him. She took a break from that thing and went back to saving Widows around the world. Every now and then she would do a job to have money for her trips after the Widows.
She continued after the Widows, changed her look completely, appeared a few more times at the young and adorable Kate's apartment for more girls' night out. It created a very good friendship.
But there it is. Yelena has never had romantic experiences, she has kissed and had sex, but it was on missions and without her really wanting to. And then things with Kate got a little more...serious. She appeared more frequently at the brunette's house, stole her sweatshirts, and discovered that she was a lover of physical affection.
But only from Kate.
Yelena and Kate became very close in a short time and before they knew it, Yelena was practically living with her. After Kate graduated, she became calmer, so for lack of choice, she became CEO of Bishop's Security, temporarily.
It was like this, Kate went to work in the morning and came back in the afternoon, wearing a suit and tie, all dressed up. And Yelena stayed at home, walked the dogs, tidied up and messed up the house. She saved the rest of the Widows and then was left with nothing to do other than stay in Kate's apartment waiting for her to return. Or sometimes she would sneak Kate out of the office late at night.
Yelena had nothing to complain about. She had a super cute, funny, beautiful and hot girlfriend. And she had a clear schedule for now, to enjoy the magic of her first romance as a high school teenager.
Of course, everything wasn't going to be a bed of roses. Does Yelena love her? Yes. Does Yelena love hugging and kissing Kate? Very! Does Yelena have strong feelings for the brunette? She has many.
But she doesn't know how to show it. She never had that and the lack of a sister full of lived experiences makes a difference.
When Kate let out her first "I love you" Yelena froze. She didn't know how, if she could, when to repay him. But she let it go, she loved Kate, she just didn't know how to express it in words.
And Kate kept saying I Love You without waiting back. And that was the worst thing for Yelena.
She didn't feel like a person capable of loving and being loved, she didn't feel like she deserved it. She thought she was a murderer, she almost killed Barton out of blind revenge. She killed people for money, she had to kill Widows who refused in any way to be saved.
Yelena doesn't deserve this. She doesn't deserve Kate, she doesn't deserve to be the person who sleeps with the brunette every night, she doesn't deserve Kate's care. The breakfasts in bed, the hugs after nightmares, the sweatshirts. None of that. Yelena doesn't deserve it. She is a killer.
Knowing that she could never love Kate back, she ended up leaving. Not because she didn't love it. But because she didn't want to make Kate go through the mess that she was. And she never returned.
That's the story so far. Yelena reunited with her father and recruited him for a mission with a new team. She, Alexei, James Barnes and a few other people. She is going from person to person recruiting them.
And this is where the blonde finds herself now. Recruiting John Walter. Who didn't receive her very well.
He didn't even give her time to explain the situation and started fighting. She dodged the first shots and threw her Widow Bites at him, but the bastard managed to defend himself with a briefcase from her training stand.
Yelena rolls to the side and takes her batons from her back, runs at the man and hits him in the ribs, Walter grunts and kicks him in the stomach. She falls onto her back and the man takes his knife to stab her in the neck, but Yelena puts her forearms together over her chest before the knife reaches her skin. Pushing upwards, she pushes him and the knife moves away along the floor. She kicks him in the face, right in the jaw, but before getting another hit. Walter easily grabs her by the tactical vest and throws her away.
He pulls out another pistol, preparing to shoot her, still a little dazed from the move.
Shots are fired, but she feels no impact. On the contrary, she feels a large hand on her shoulder and a shadow in front of her.
When her vision becomes clear, Yelena is completely confused. "KATE??" She widens her eyes at the woman in front of her. The one protecting her using a vibranium shield on her arm. "Hi, Yelena. How's goin'?"
The blonde doesn't even have time to respond when she is pulled to her feet and protected by the brunette. Who uses the shield against shots. When Walter notices the end of his bullets, Kate takes advantage and throws the pure metal right at his head, knocking him out.
The shield returns to Kate's arm and she turns to the blonde. "Are you okay?" She takes a deep breath with sweat running down her face. "You cut your hair." Hair, the only thing Yelena notices about the woman. Short shoulder-length hair. "Yeah. Are YOU okay?" She asks again. "Okay. Thanks... I'm fine."
"Can you explain to me what you were doing fighting this guy??"
"Me?? What are YOU doing here? And with this shield?"
"I..." Kate is interrupted by a female voice. "Can we go in now, Kate?"
Kate sighs. "Yeah."
Yelena sees a bunch of teenagers and a black man enter. She first sees a girl in red and blue clothes with a yellow lightning bolt in the middle, a glowing bracelet on her forearm. Next to her, a Latina in a denim jacket from America. She also has a blonde with blue eyes in a completely purple and black outfit and two boys, one dark-skinned and one blonde, they even look like brothers because they look so similar. They must be. Next to Kate, the black man stops and looks at her, raising his eyebrows.
"I told you not to get the shield back. You could broke your arm." He says seriously. "I'm fine, it didn't even hurt." Kate smiles handing the flag-colored shield back to the man. She looks at Yelena and whispers "Shit, hurts!" As she places her hand on her left arm. The blonde had to laugh at that one.
Suddenly she sees none other than James Barnes entering and standing next to the black man. "Why are you here? And what are all these people??" Yelena asks angrily. "You went to recruit me, right? Then I saw you were recruiting more people. And I found out the next one was going to be this guy. John Walter." James says, crossing his arms. "And?"
"Sam here and I have a bit of a... bad past with him. This guy is dangerous. I knew you weren't going to take care of him alone. So I contacted Sam told me he was training new young people for Avengers. These guys here. And then Sam sent them on a mission to protect you."
As soon as Bucky finished Yelena looked at him and laughed, Kate had a slight deja vu with what happened last Christmas.
"Protect me? This bunch of brats??" Laugh more. "That was a good one . If you wanted to protect me so much, why didn't you come yourself, James Barnes?" "Because I was busy investigating our mission."
"Just to you know, blondie. I'm already 18, okay? I'm not a brat." Kamala explains somewhat indignantly. "Kam, Kam. Calm down, let them talk, it's adult talk. Come here." Kate went to the girl's side and placed her arm around the smaller girl's shoulders.
Yelena, James and Sam spoke and the two men reveal that they know the true whereabouts of this mission. Being proposed by Valentina, it would be a suicide mission, they would only kill one boss, but then, they would be killed. So the blonde was super pissed because she risked her life to go and recruit these people, and in fact, she was going to die at the end of it all.
Now, with the mission changed and Kate's group together. They're going to take Valentina down. At first Yelena didn't agree with the idea of Kate going along. But she ended up thirsty. In a way, she wanted to have the brunette in her sights. For security.
Everyone got into the black van that Sam arranged and grouped in the back with Yelena and a disabled Walker tied up with a handcuff that takes away powers.
Kate is next to Kamala and America, the others are spread out on the floor and on the other side, near Yelena.
"Did you already know her?" Kamala asks Kate none too discreetly as she stares at Yelena.
"She's the woman who threw me off the roof 2 years ago." She says simple.
Maybe Yelena was wrong, she thought Kate wouldn't be mad, but she is, a lot.
"Really? Her?? Wow, she's really... sexy. And that Russian accent??"
"You know she can hear everything, right, Kamala?"
"And I'm listening."
"Ah, but I'm serious. You're sexy, Russian, you fight. My God, if that woman throws me off a roof, I'll appreciate it!"
"Enough, Kamala." Kate asks, sighing.
"Okay, okay. I just know that my fanfic will have a LOT of chapters." The girl crosses her arms, leaning against the wall of the van.
Yelena sighs and brushes her hair back. She barely looks at Kate and Kate barely looks at her.
America leaned against Kate's shoulder and closed her eyes. She's like a little sister to the brunette.
[...]
The group arrived at the new complex, not much bigger than the OG Avengers, but there is still room for everyone and plenty of it.
As soon as they entered Shuri's laboratory, the girl ran to Kate and hugged her tightly, Kate reciprocated and picked her up off the floor.
"Kate, I'm glad everything worked out. Are you okay??" She asks as she walks away, but still in Kate's arms.
"I'm fine, don't worry. Everything went fine." Kate smiles.
"Oh, that's good! I was worried. Does your new bow look good?"
"It worked, I loved the practicality, much easier with a retractable one, thank you."
"Great. I'm glad you liked it."
Yelena stayed in the corner watching everything, Shuri is a girl very close to Kate, they are very friends. Everyone in the complex knows how close she is. But for the blonde, who arrived now. This proximity irritates her.
"Alright, everyone. We'll update Shuri on the mission and then you'll be dismissed. Yelena, Kate will show you to her room later." Sam says, setting his equipment aside.
Sam started to explain the whole situation and Yelena couldn't help but notice that when Kate sat down on a chair, Shuri stood behind her, either massaging her tense shoulders, or hugging her from behind with her chin in her hair.
It is, definitely. Yelena is jealous. Will she admit it? Never!
"You know she wants to kill you, right?" Kate whispers to Shuri. She laughs at the whole situation. "I know, but you said you wanted her back. I'm giving you a hand. Look at her face." Shuri laughs softly, catching a glimpse of Yelena's red and angry face.
"Kate, can you hug me?" Kamala approaches the two. "Come here." The brunette opens her arms. It's common to see this type of interaction, they treat each other VERY much like sisters and Kamala is a lover of hugs, it's funny to see an 18 year old girl curled up in the lap of a 24 year old.
Kamala smiled happily and threw herself at Kate like a baby, literally. Kate wrapped her arms around the girl and held her in place.
"You don't know how to disguise it, Belova." Bucky crosses his arms, staying next to Yelena. She is seething with rage and jealousy. She wasn't even paying attention to the explanation anymore. "Shut up, James Barnes." "You know, I thought you were done with her. You told me you were the one who left." Yelena sighed and turned to him. "First: My personal life is none of your business. Second: I left because I wanted to. Third: You don't need to know why I left. Thank you, you're welcome." The man next to her chuckled and turned his attention to the front, where Kate was still talking to Shuri and Kamala.
"Come, I'll show you your room." Kate says appearing in front of Yelena after the explanation. Yelena barely looked at her and headed into the hallway. It wasn't very big, which meant her room wasn't too far from Kate's. And in fact it wasn't. Her rooms were opposite each other. Kate took the key from the door and opened it so Yelena could enter first.
"Here it is. It has everything you need. Except food, then you'll have to go to the kitchen. There are already towels and bedding in the closet. I don't know where your things are, or when you'll get them. For now, I I'll lend you some of my clothes."
"Okay, thanks, Kate Bishop."
"I don't know what you're going to do now, probably take a shower, I advise. I'll get you some clothes and I'll be right back."
Yelena nodded without looking Kate in the eye. The brunette glances at her and leaves the room, closing the door.
Kate went to her room and got a purple dress shirt and gray sweatpants for Yelena. She went back to Yelena's room and heard the blonde in the shower. She left her clothes on the bed and left.
She went to take a shower too, she was exhausted. Confused, she wanted to talk and clarify everything with Yelena, but she also just wanted to hug her and forget everything.
The brunette wore a black t-shirt and purple sweatpants. Her damp hair fell over her shoulders. She opens the door to her room at the same time Yelene opens hers. "Ah... I was going to eat something. Do you want to come along?" Yelena pondered for a while. "Could it be." She pulls the sleeve of the huge shirt on her body. "Hang on, let me help you." Kate walked over and started rolling up the sleeves of her shirt until it was a good height for Yelena. The blonde observed everything in silence. At the end, she looked at Kate and took a deep breath. "Kate..."
"Yes...?" Kate left her hand resting on the fabric of her shirt. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry I left." Yelena tried not to get emotional at this simple sentence. "Okay, I'm sure you had your reasons. And they must be valid. I'm not mad, just upset that you left without even saying goodbye." "No, Kate. I don't deserve this, I don't deserve you. Look at all this, you're too good for me. And I'm... just a killer."
Kate frowned and looked at Yelena. "What?? No! Never! You're not a murderer, Yelena. You're good, you deserve everything the world can give you, everything I can give you. I'm sorry you feel that way, but you deserve it. I honestly don't know where this all fits together for you to leave, but we can get through it..."
"I left because I love you!" Yelena interrupted her.
Kate was silent and quite confused at first. "D-Do you love me?"
"Of course I love you, Kate Bishop. But I didn't know how to show it! You were so good to me and I just don't think I deserved that, that I deserved the coffee in bed, the cuddles, the hugs, the kisses. I don't think I deserved to be loved!"
"Yelena, but of course you deserve to be loved!"
The blonde remained silent looking at Kate, both were already crying. She watched Kate's chest rise and fall with her heavy breathing.
They looked at each other one last time before the blonde approached Kate and kissed her with all her intensity. Wrapping her arms over her broad, strong shoulders and standing on tiptoe, it seems like just a few months apart, Kate became even more so.
Kate reciprocated by hugging Yelena's waist and leaning in to make it easier. Yelena's fingers went to her still slightly wet hair. She pushed Kate into the room and the brunette closed the door.
Kate's hands went to the lower part of her thighs and understanding the signal, Yelena jumped to wrap her legs around Kate's waist. She placed Yelena against the door and just pulled away from the kiss. She touched the blonde's face lightly.
"You look so beautiful in this shirt. Too bad I'm gonna have to take it off." She smiled, directing her lips to Yelena's neck. The blonde blushed a little at that sentence and let out a shaky sigh at Kate's hot, provocative mouth right on her weak spot.
She grabbed Kate's hair with one hand and the other found its way onto the woman's toned abdomen. She felt even more ripped and the thought of licking and biting invaded her mind, she smiled briefly before moaning again at Kate's kisses.
"Kate...please!" She scratched the back of Kate's head and grabbed the hem of the brunette's t-shirt, wanting to pull her up.
Fucked now is also a great definition for Yelena, Kate too, but more the blonde. Yelena was still wearing Kate's shirt, but it was open with a bit of her breasts.
Kate take her hands to the blonde's shirt and smile. She is wearing a sports bra and the blanket is up to her hips. And Yelena sitting on it. "You're a very naughty girl."
"I am? What about you, Kate Bishop?" Her hands coming up to caress the brunette's abdomen. "I think between the two of us, we know who's more perverted, Yelena Belova." She blinks, leaving her hand inside Yelena's shirt on her hip.
"It seems Miss Belova is in a better mood now, am I right?" She caressed the blonde's skin. "Ah, Kate Bishop, I don't know, I think I need one more kiss to get me in the mood." "Don't be that way." Kate grab the back of the woman's head and pull her in for a kiss. "Better?" "Much better, Kate Bishop." Yelena places her hands on Kate's chest.
"I think this is worth a photo to remember." Kate reaches for the polaroid camera next to the bed. "Let me take it, you're shaking a lot." Yelena took the camera. "What do you mean? I'm an archer!" "Yes, your hands are perfect for many things, but taking photos is not one of them." Kate opened her mouth in complete shock and Yelena took a photo laughing at the scene.
"Throw it away!" Kate asks. "No." Yelena shakes the photo to reveal it. "Throw it away, go!" "No!" Laugh. "It's just a photo. And I promise I won't show it to anyone." "Okay!" Kate crosses her arms. "If that's so, I'll have one too." She take the camera back and aimed it at Yelena. The blonde smile all cute, Kate softened her angry face and took the photo. She took it out and gave it to Yelena to reveal. She then pull Yelena's open shirt further away, showing more of her breasts and took another photo.
"Now that's my favorite." Kate smile shaking the photo. "Hide it." Yelena becomes serious for a brief moment. "I'll leave it in my wallet, always a good look." The brunette smile. Yelena laughs too and roll her eyes before picking up the camera and pointing it at Kate again. She smiles, making her eyes very small. The photo was taken and Yelena left them on top of Kate, each side of the other. "And that's my favorite."
The camera was left aside, but the photos were not. Kate took it to watch and Yelena did the same. Kate set it aside for a while and looked passionately at the woman above her. "I love you, Yelena. I'm sorry if I did something bad to you, I didn't mean to." Yelena sighs and smiles. "You didn't do anything wrong, Kate Bisbop. You just loved me, in the most patient, kind and loyal way. And... I love you too, Kate..." She smile at the end. Kate was surprised, this time, happy too. She shuffled back a little and sat down with Yelena still in her lap. She cupped his face with her hands and gave him a calm kiss.
They pull away and smile, Yelena settled in her arms and close her eyes. Kate went back to lying down and the blonde moved a little to the side, to lay her head on the brunette's chest. Kate's hand began to stroke her hair.
