timeline!!
November 2015: Peter gets bit by radioactive spider on field trip to Oscorp at 14(trust when i say he holds a grudge, he was extremely sick for a week and felt on the verge of death)
March 2016: Uncle ben dies and peter starts spider-man around mid-march
May 2016: Tony Stark recruits spider-man(peter) for the civil war after hes been active for about 2 months, mid may, then basically ghosts him after wards
August 2016: Peter has been at Spider-Man for around 6 months and has a pretty decent public opinion bc of how active he is in the community plus his help on team Iron Man during civil war and he decides to create a spider-man twitter page. atp, Tony still basically is ignoring peter because he sees no more use with him, but occasionally responds to spidey to keep up public image
Late September 2016: Spider-man: Homecoming happens, this time both ned and mj found out about spidey(at same time, mj was at the apartment when ned was doing legos bc they planned a game/movie night as well) and ned became his guy in the chair and mj took on a role of helping peter with most their wounds unless its to major then she drags him to the tower or has May see if she can help(shes taken various lessons from May as well as certified classes/volunteer work at the hospital to feel confident in this role)
October 2016: After the events of Spider-Man: Homecoming and May aggressively grilling Tony about lying to her and letting her nephew lie to her and be in danger by being Spider-Man, peter begins an offical internship with him. He goes there every day other then wendesdays and spends 3/4 of his time there down with the other interns bc Tony is a lil hoe at the start of this fic and really wants nothing to do with Peter. By mid/late october May finds out about this and is kinda pissed bc this was supposed to be a more solid mentor & mentee between tony and pete so they change it so half his time is now spent with Tony in his labs
November 2016: Avengers reform? idk some damn thanksgiving miracle guys !! no irondad spiderson (at least not regonised by anyone) bc plot idk..
December 2016: avengers find out abt peter being spidey over something stupid like him coming into the tower basically bleeding out and then tony freaks and accidently reveals him when hes the one that didnt want them knowing?? bro idfk
January 2017: fic starts jan. 8th? petes been at spidey for 10 months, real internship for about four and irondad and spiderson is there more then b4 but tonys emotionally stunted and doesnt know how to show people he cares so its lowkey shit but yk and peter is scared of rejection so.. not a good combo. publically spidey hasnt interacted with the avengers since the civil war other then rhodey(assumed) and tony but peter talks to them sometimes(mostly abt their weapons, tho he sometimes trains with nat and clint or smth, hes lowkey still nervous someone is gonna beat his ahh for no reason or try convincing him to stop spider-man) and has basically forcefully befriended some of the less social ones and kinda gained them as parental figures(cough bucky nat clint)
