Leo was happy, today was Saturday-which meant he could rejoin the other demigods at camp.
Not that Leo doesn’t enjoy school, but there’s not much that can top hanging out with your best friends that you saved the world with.
Plus, school was annoyingly boring when you’re cooped up in a classroom all day. The best part of school days were labs and hanging out with Peter, MJ, and Ned.
Oh, and annoying Flash. That never got old.
Leo, Percy, and Annabeth sat in Posidon’s cabin after helping with camp and before curfew.
Leo cackled as Percy re-accounted the encounter he had with Annabeth and Spiderman.
Seriously, how come Percy always gets to meet the cool important people and Leo only gets to hear about it in the aftermath.
“Dang Percy, how come you get all the fun!” Leo snickered as Percy smirked from the bunk he and Annabeth were currently sitting on.
“It was NOT fun! Of ALL the mortal hero’s that had to think I was in trouble, it was SPIDERMAN. The dude dresses himself as a spider of all things!” Annabeth frowned as she layed her head on Percy’s shoulder.
“But he’s so cool! he can walk on walls! His suit must have some crazy details. I wonder if I could make my own Spiderman suit…” Leo’s daydreaming was interrupted by Annabeth’ immediate disapproval of such as idea.
Spoilsport.
Frank and Hazel then decided that now was a perfect time to enter Percy’s cabin.
“Wassup.” Leo lazily waved in their direction as they entered.
“Not much, we heard your guys’ laughter from down the hall and decided to make sure nothing was going to blow up tomorrow.” Hazel teased as she and Frank joined them on the already crowded bunk.
“Aww, caught already” Percy teased back, gaining a giggle out of Hazel.
The next hour was spent with laughter and giggling, the telling of horror stories and candy being eaten.
About twenty minutes in, Leo had gotten up and gathered Piper and Jason to join in on some team fun.
Each person took a turn telling their own scary story, real or made up.
Annabeth told her story about meeting Spiderman, getting laughs out of everyone.
It was a great night and Leo was greatly enjoying relaxing with his friends.
Someday he’d have to introduce them to Peter, hopefully no monsters attack when that happens.

*for the sake of this fanfiction, I think I will make Peter slightly clearsighted and slowly begin to be more clearsighted as he gets more involved in the demigod world. This is probably not how it works in cannon but shhhhh*
It was just casual Sunday afternoon. The weather was warm and the sky was clear.
Peter smiled to himself as Karen confirmed that no crime was happening nearby at the moment. Even Spiderman needs a moment to just breathe- or swing.
However this peace did not last as he heard a pained ‘yelp’ coming from a less populated area. Quickly changing his course to the direction of the person.
Now, Peter was expecting a mugging, maybe a Gun or knife, a victim and any other normal crime stuff.
That was in fact, not what he saw.
First off, Peter did not expect to see Leo with a hammer swinging it around like a madman. Well, a very calculated madman as for each swing helped either Leo move with momentum or the hammer would hit its mark.
Second off, Peter also did NOT expect to see Leo, or anyone for that matter, swinging a hammer at an overgrown dog.
The dog was black and….oddly huge for a dog now that Peter was looking at it.
It was hard to get a good look at it because his suit must have had some fog on the lenses because the dog would blur in and out of focus.
The dog swung its paw slashing at Leo’s shin, Leo retaliated by grabbing its ear and using it to propel and swing himself onto the back of the dog, slamming the hammer into the temple of the dog.
Thirdly, why the HECK did the dog just explode into a huge puff of golden flakes that disappeared and then reappeared every other blink.
“Uhhhhgggg, why does it always get in my mouth.” Leo whined as he dusted his pants and hair out, while spitting to the side.
Peter just stood to the side, still unnoticed, and stared at his friend. He decided that he will absolutely never, under any circumstances, make Leo angry when he has a hammer on him. That was scary seeing how well a human could wield one as a weapon.
Leo stretched and turned around, finally facing Spiderman now.
“Uhhhhhhhhhhh…….heyy how long have you been here ha ha” Leo attempted (and failed) to look casual, flipping his hand in a casual manner and leaning back on his heels.
“I saw you…fighting the dog-thing. What in the heck?” Spiderman crossed his arms looking at Leo’s slightly panicked face.
“Erm, well it attacked first so in my defense it was self defense.” Leo smiled awkwardly.
“You just murdered a dog. What if it’s someone pet?” Peter frowned.
“Well, it belongs to one of my friend’s dad. He won’t mind much.”
…Silence…
“Okay that came out wrong!” Leo waved his hands in front of him as he said that.
“I dont really think there’s an okay way to say that..” Peter was dumbfounded. Leo didn’t seem like the kind to murder a dog, but Leo was right in front of him and Peter was very confused. And slightly concerned.
“Uh, so it was nice to meet you Spiderman, but as you have absolutely no proof I killed the dog or that I committed any crimes whatsoever, I will be leaving now and you can not legally stop me.” Leo smiled cheekily and started to walk around Peter out of the alley.
Peter had no idea what to do.
Well, it took too long for him to decide anyway because the moment he turned around in the direction Leo had walked, Leo had disappeared.
Well that was weird.
Maybe it was time to call it quits for patrol tonight, yeah that sounds like a good idea.
