The Apple
Hi! Im backkkk
This is a very short chapter, though I still like it somewhat- it’s the start of an soon to be ongoing joke
Time for some more chaos!

It was at lunch that Leo had his brilliant idea.
He was watching Peter try to make conversation with Mj, and honestly, Leo may be dense, but he has hung out with Piper and the Aphrodite cabin enough to know that Peter definitely was crushing on her- if his stuttering and red face had anything to say for itself.
It was honestly hilarious and entertaining to watch and Leo was definitely not secretly recording random conversations when he could- if only to use as blackmail.
And it was the moment that Leo spotted the apple on his lunch tray that the idea struck.
Oh this was going to be good-
Pocketing the apple, Leo cleared his plate and headed to his next class.

After school, Leo, Ned, Mj, and he were all heading through the school halls.
Leo tapped his shoulder to get his attention.
“Hey Peter, toss this apple to Mj”
“What? Why?”
“Uhm, cuz she looks like she could use an apple”
Peter looked at Leo suspiciously. Then he took the apple and checked it for anything that could be used as a prank.
Finding nothing wrong, he gave in.
“Sure..”

Leo inwardly cackled as Peter took the apple and tossed it to Mj.
Even if no one else knew what it meant in ancient greek, at least Leo could have a good joke to tell his demigod friends back at camp.
Then Mj caught it.
The look on her face as she caught it signaled that she knew what it meant, or at least had a good idea.
Her face held a red tint to it as she smiled at Peter then pocketed the apple.
She. Kept. The. Apple.
Leo had not actually expected her to
1.know what it meant (though with how she’s always reading it wasn’t to surprising)
2.keep the apple
Leo sat there gaping at them when Peter looked at him with such an honest to goodness innocent confusion that Leo couldn’t help cracking up.

Peter watched helplessly as Mj caught Leo’s apple and gave him a constipated look as she pocketed it.
Oh no- he messed up. Why did he listen to Leo?!
He looked back to Leo and Leo was gaping at Mj, eyes darting between himself and her.
Then he started laughing like a maniac.
Which Peter guessed, was starting to be a rather common thing with Leo. (Sometimes he wondered about the kid’s sanity)
Peter looked to Ned to see if he understood what was happening.
Ned, also looking confused, just shrugged. Then his face lit up in the way it did whenever he had an idea.
Ned pulled out his phone and typed something into it.
His face went from confused, to understanding in three seconds.
Peter walked over to Ned to see what he saw and to actually understand what the heck is happening, but Ned turned the phone away from Peter’s line of sight.
Mj cleared her throat, “let’s get out of the building before the close up the school with us still in here”
And so, the group did just that.
And Peter was left confused.
‘Guess I’ll just have to ask Mr Stark if he knows’ Peter thought as he entered Happy’s car.
