Dc Earth-99

Earth-99 is a very similar Earth to the Prime version of DC, what with having many individuals and events.

The planet Maltus witnessed the rise of the first intelligent 'mortal' species on the universe, the Maltusians. They decided to search ways to harness the energy of the Emotional Spectrum.

On the Third world, a catastrophe struck which killed many of the inhabitants, now referred to as "Old Gods". The catastrophe released a wave of power, dubbed the "Godwave" which gave birth to a new species, the "New Gods", divided into two planets, the benevolent "New Genesis", governed by Izaya, and the malevolent "Apokolips", ruled by Izaya's father Zonuz, one of the last Old Gods.

During this period of transition, the Maltusians sought to bring order to the now in-chaos universe with the Manhunters, an order of robotic soldiers whose purpose was to bring order. However, the Manhunters grew beyond their programming and turned against organic life, deciding to start an universal purge.

To counteract this, the Maltusians harnessed the Emotional Spectrum to create a superweapon. This was the "First Ring", designed to harness the entire spectrum. Unfortunately, a time traveller by the name of Volthoom stole the weapon, becoming the first ever "Lantern". He then proceeded to annihilate Maltus, with only a handful of Maltusians escaping.

One of the groups decided, however, that the idea of Lanterns was still good, and made more rings, only these exclusively harnessed the green light of Willpower. The first rings went to heroic warriors from the numerous species of the galaxy, Tamaran, Krypton, Ma'alecandran... Although the first team perished or was crippled in the fight against Volthoom, they managed to imprison him, and the results gave the Maltusians the data to perfect the rings who would go to the new "Green Lanterns", one of them being an individual named "Avra", who would go on to be the one who ended the threat of the Manhunters.

Unfortunately, the universe was incredibly damaged, specially the denominated space sector 666. The survivors of that sector, incredibly strong magic users known as "The Five Inversions", started a campaign of vengeance, establishing the Empire of Tears. This brought attention of the New Gods, with Apokolips offering a truce until the Maltusians and Green Lanterns died. This made the now threatened Maltusians seek an alliance with New Genesis, bringing a war which ended with Apokolips being triple-teamed, as nobody liked those assholes. It was only after Uxas and Izaya, the future leaders of their planets, slayed their father Zonuz that Apokolips retired from the war, citing their weakness, and as such the Empire fell, with only the leader of the Five Inversions, Atrocitus, surviving, being jailed inside his sector on the planet Ysmault.

The decision to close that sector to the rest of the universe caused a breakdown in the group. The Maltusians divided into three groups, those who maintained the name and went back to Malthus in the hopes of rebirthing their world, those who decided to atone for their misdeeds by leading the newly formed Green Lantern corps, the newly named Oans/Guardians of the Universe, which had now entered into an alliance with New Genesis, and the ones who decided to abandon both groups and focus on another emotion of the spectrum to find their true way, this group would later become the Zamarons, users of the Pink Light of Love.

Of the Oans, one in particular was quite devious. Named Krona, he continued with his experiments of the Emotional Spectrum. One of his experiments brought fruit, in the Vega system, his studies on the Orange Light of Avarice worked, creating the very first Orange Lantern, an individual known as Larfleeze of Okkara. Many more Orange Lanterns popped up, alas, because of the workings of the Orange Light, the new corp embroiled in a bloody civil war, with Larfleeze emerging victorious after absorbing the rest of his corpsmen.

In the future years, many different events occurred, such as the formation of alien empires like the Reach, the Citadel, and an individual known as Mongul taking command of "Warworld", the last planet where the Old Gods lived. A key event wasthe birth of a planet named Terra, or "Earth". This planet would be home to many species, including different groups of gods and a race known as humans.

The destiny of Earth would be forever changed when the human Vandar Arg entered in contact with a radioactive meteorite, changing his genetics from human to something new, a Metahuman. His progeny, Atlan, would go on to fund the kingdom of Atlantis, which would later be sunk into the sea by the actions of the Lords of Chaos. He would get his revenge when, in his time as Marduk of Mesopotamia, he made his son Nabu ascend as a Lord of Order.

In Egypt, he entered in conflict with the warriors Chay-ara and prince Khufu, murdering them and becoming their nemesis. In Greece, he started the Trojan War in his persona of Agammenon.

During Ancient times, the Olympians would decide to give a society of warrior women, the Amazons, their blessings, granting them powers and a paradisiacal island. However, the Amazonian leaders went on their separate ways, Hyppolita remained queen of Themyscira, Penthesilea died at the hands of Achilles in the Trojan war while defending Troy from the greek armies, Melanippe remained in Themyscira as the oracle of the Olympians while Antiope and Atalanta left after the disaster caused by Hera and Hercules, founding the Amazons Of Bana-Migdall after pledging servitude to the Egyptian Gods. Much later, however, Atalanta left the Bana-Mighdall, disatisfied with their violent way of life, and travelled to the continent of South America, where she helped the Aztec Gods stop the invasions of Tezcatlipoca, founding another tribe of Amazons, the Esquecida, although perishing in the fight against the evil God. Meanwhile, spurred by her sister, Antiope left Bana-Mighdall because she felt they had deviated from their objective to help the world, becoming no better than barbarians and mercenaries, so she became a wandering heroine.

Years later, Vandar Ardg, in his persona of Genghis Khan, managed to draw a ceasefire with Darkseid, starting an agreement for the conquest of the universe.

About 200 years later, a simple healer from the region known as Arabia Saudi becomes Ra's al Ghul, leader of the League of Shadows/Assassins.

Great timeskip to the XXth century. The government creates a specialized taskforce of "Metahumans" to combat the Axis powers, with individuals such as the Green Lantern Alan Scott, The Flash Jay Garrick, the reincarnations of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, the android Red Tornado, the current Dr. Fate Kent Nelson and Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta Wonder Woman. After the war is over the Society dissolves, with many members returning to their daily lives, but still continuing superheroism such as Alan Scott helping establish A.R.G.U.S. and Diana Prince advocating for the equal rights of POC and LGBTQ+.

In space again, Darkseid/Uxas gifts a martian unable to use telepathy, Ma'alefaak, the Black Apple, item which the martian uses to create a plague which exterminates nearly all martians, with some few survivors, including in particular White Martians, and a simple policeman J'onn J'onzz who had been teleported to Earth.

Years later, in space, the scientists of Krypton' manipulation of the planet's core causes it to desestabilize, which spurs two men to act in different ways. Jor-El, scientist who had predicted the outcome and was ignored, sends a escape capsule containing Krypton's hope for the future, his son Kal-El to Planet Earth. Meanwhile, general Dru-Zod attempts a coup in his attempt to save the planet in his way, but is stopped and sent alongside his followers to the Phantom Zone, act which ultimately saved him. In space, Green Lantern Tomar-Re helps some mysterious individuals defend the capsule from monster intending to kill the child. Thanks to this, Kal-El arrives to Earth, where he is adopted by a pair of Kansas farmer's, becoming Clark Kent.

At the same time, the Kryptonian colony of Kandor comes under attack of the Coluan Brainiac. Only Kara Zor-El, cousin of Kal-El, manages to escape, although she is pulled into the Phantom Zone.

During this time, Queen Atlanna of Atlantis sires a child out of wedlock with Lighthouse keeper Tom Curry, Arthur Curry.

A few years later, young Bruce Wayne witnesses his parent's murder at the hands of a criminal. This event would define his life, transforming him into a Bat. I mean a Man. A Manbat. No wait...

Yet again in space, hero of the Green Lantern corps Abin Sur discovers the prophecy of the Blackest Night along with the dark history of the Guardians. He decides to start moving pieces to prevent the end of the universe, one move being investigating the other emotions of the spectrum, in particular, the purple light of Compassion. Years later, one of his foes known as Legion, unknowingly powered by the entity of fear, Parallax, would take down Abin Sur, who crashes into Earth and dies. His ring goes to Air Force pilot Hal Jordan.

A few months later of this event, an exposition of an article accelerator causes a catastrophe which awakens the latent genetic anomalities of many in people, along with being part of why scientist Barry Allen, who at the same time was struck by lightning and dumped into diverse chemicals, gains access to the Speed Force.

Some years later, these individuals have grown up to be heroes. the afforementioned Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern (John), Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl(latest reincarnation) join forces to fight intergalactic conqueror Starro. After beating the conqueror, they decide to maintain the alliance, creating the Justice League. It quickly fills with recruits, such as Aquaman, Green Arrow, Vixen, Black Canary, Zatanna and other Green Lanterns. (whose origin stories are similar to their Prime Earth counterparts.

Superman personally goes to recruit SHAZAM, champion of the Wizard Mamaragan, helping him fight off the supervillain known as Black Adam. He would later also, with the help of Batman and Wonder Woman, and the entire League, save his cousin from Zod's brainwashing.

During this time, the teenage apprentices of several heroes leave their nests and establish a new team, the Teen Titans (OG line-up). The group would be divided, until Robin, now Nightwing, re-establishes it years later with an entire new line-up (the one we all know)

Pretty close in time, Earth comes in contact with the Crime Syndicate, evil versions of the League of an alternate reality. This prompts the government to start their own countermeasures in the form of project CADMUS. The League also starts studying the multiverse, being aided by Powergirl, alternate counterpart of Supergirl.

Meanwhile, new sidekicks Wondergirl (Cass), Robin (Tim), Impulse and Aqualad (Kaldur) infiltrate a CADMUS base and rescue a clone of Superman, now named Superboy. They form the team known as Young Justice, which Batman keeps hidden so that they can investigate and help take down a secret organization lead by Vandar Arg, now named Vandal Savage. The group would later become public.

On another part of the country, after a journey of self-healing, Red Hood, the previous second Robin, establishes a team, the Outlaws, with Artemis of Bana-Mighdall, Bizarro, failed clone of Superman, Red Arrow/Roy Harper and alien princess Starfire, having left the Titans after a slew of problems (her sister being a psycopath, relationship troubles, her home being 'collected' by Brainiac).

Many events similar to the films occur in here, such as Batman having to take down Joker lest he blow up the city, and later retake the city from Bane, who gave him his own version of a Bear Hug. Wonder Woman helps the Amazon tribes to come to an understanding, Martian Manhunter adopts a White Martian named M'gann M'orzz, Green Arrow and his allies take down the evil organization H.I.V.E. (or so it seems), and a group of heroes and villains become the time-travelling screw-ups known as The Legends. Hal Jordan embarks on a mission, managing to stop the fight between the Green and newly formed Red Lantern corps, in part with help from Saint Walker, the first ever Blue lantern.

Events such as the Infinite Crisis and the Blackest Night happened in this reality, similar to their "Canon" counterparts.

And that's all for the moment. While I have managed to find several transcripts, it's only the lines. No descriptions of actions, scenery... I now have a much bigger respect for Reaction writers.

Furthermore, I appreciate all your support and suggestions. But about that, in this story, for the moment, and I mean mainly, and for nearly all the story, the teams are going to see heroes from 'Other realities', meaning from other franchises. But thanks for the suggestions anyway.

Hope to release the first reaction, and let me tell you, it is going to be marvelous.
