The universe returns Peter, Norman, and Otto to a world they share. They may be alive for now, but that doesn't mean anything will be easy.The universe will give no more than is necessary to alter the fates of the two who would be called villains.--[ Basically, this is a version of a raimi-verse timeline where Peter(Holland)'s plan from No Way Home worked, and Norman Osborn is rid of the effects of the performance enhancers in time to save him from dying. Norman is influenced by the events of No Way Home, not enough for him to remember that a multiverse exists, but just enough for him to influence the events of the timeline he is sent/returned to. Peter and Otto are returned to pretty much the way they were physically at the end of Spider-Man 1. The events of Spider-Man 2 will be covered/altered as the fic continues. ]

Welcome to my first fic on Ao3, hope you enjoy.I'll be working on this pretty sporadically- it's very much just for fun and for me to get to rotate my versions of these characters in my head.This particular fic started with me just wanting to have non-goblin-Norman and actuator-controlled-Otto interact, but I couldn't write that without writing how I imagine that point would be reached and then I started thinking about how timelines would deal with the events of No Way Home and that all spiraled into what I'm writing here.Also, Otto & Norman were friends in college and worked at / started Oscorp together (inspired by other fics I've read and also the two newest playstation spider-man games :D)Also also I think if this fic goes on to reach where I want it to, it could be considered slow burn of Otto/Norman(I think slow burn is the right term, I'm not great with tags and such)I hope to do some interesting things with Harry's character as well, inspired a little bit by the Ultimate Spider-Man (2000) comics, TSSM cartoon, and Ultimate Spider-Man (2012) cartoon--
