Summary
Elliot had heard of a man bearing the robes of light, wrapped from head to toe like a mummy and felt his heart quiver. There was a pull in that moment to the person, to see who had caught the attention of his god, to see who was the new chosen avatar.Marc hadn’t known that Khonshu had taken an avatar before him. He supposed in the back of his shared mind that it was a fact but he never expected to see them in this lifetime.OrIn a universe where the bounds of being a servant to a god can be loosely defied two men meet after being avatars.

Elliot hadn’t been able to control it, the world had been bubbling up like it had many times before and so he took some pills to mute the feeling. To what Darlene had do graciously point out for him was escaping from his very pressing and very personal life. He wish it could’ve been easier to tell her, to show her how far he had fallen from the bridge that had been their steady ground for almost a year. It was though, it would never be something easy, something you could whisper and be forgotten. But a relationship with a god was never supposed to be, an avatar was a highest regard in some places.
