A Lesson in Losing Control

The X-Men are separated and seek refuge with various allies, sending Scott and Logan to lead a fractured group to find the rest of their team. This fic is dual perspective, focusing on Logan and Scott in the scogean pairing. While I intend on writing a few more fics in this series that focus on other pairings and widen the scope of this universe slightly, I am a notoriously unpredictable writer, so this may be the only fic to come in this series.This was a story that I had originally planned on writing a few years ago pre-covid, but it had such a wide scope with different chapters focusing on different ships that the story ended up getting way too long and messy, so a few years after I had written a good few thousand words on the original version, I started it anew. I never got past the first chapter of my rewrite, so this is the 3rd attempt at writing this storyline. I narrowed it to one ship per story, and massively cut down on their downtime bonding.This is my maximum effort story, the others will be less effort and less words in an attempt to finish them. The upcoming stories that I plan to do are: Allerdrake (John Allerdyce/Bobby Drake) and Pietro maximoff/Evan Daniels, there is also a second Scogean fic set after all three fics that is still in the conceptualizing phase.For those that need to know what universe this is in. This is a universe that is sort of an amalgamation of all the different X-Men media that I have seen/read, so the biggest influences will be Evolution, wolverine and the X-Men, that weird 2011 X-Men anime, 97, all of the movies, and the Krakoa storyline with the Scogean poly relationship (Powers of X and the other one I can't remember).
