Note
I actually haven't seen ofmd I just made the fic like this because I wanted to put the scene that I put in the summary

Kevin Sydney had always been an odd person, a misfit. Though they grew up in an aristocratic family, they couldn’t avoid the mockery of others. For a long time, they tried to be “the perfect boy” and later “the perfect man” to please their parents and stop the ridicule, but to be honest, they didn’t really believe they were still a man... They needed to be free, to find a place where they belonged, and they knew they couldn’t do that in their current life. So they decided...

They were going to be a pirate.

Which was easier said than done. They bought a ship and found a crew. But they, despite what others thought, weren’t stupid. Sydney knew their crew didn’t respect them, and the other pirates weren’t laughing at them only because they didn’t know Sydney existed yet. They’d just started out as a pirate, it wasn’t their fault they didn’t know what they were doing!

They’d tried to attack a navy ship but ended up captured and abandoned by their crew. Shortly after, however, another pirate ship attacked the navy ship they were on. Because of the navy’s actions, Sydney ended up on the floor, passing out. But before everything went dark, something came into their field of vision...

"So, you're Sydney..." A pirate with a gruff voice spoke to them. He seemed intimidating and tough, with dark hair that Sydney thought looked like kitten ears at the ends.

Before passing out, they felt a bit of happiness. If a pirate like him knew their name, it meant they’d done something right... or so they liked to think.

When Sydney woke up again, it took them a moment to figure out where they were. It was a room they didn’t recognize. Once their eyes adjusted to the light, they realized the pirate from before was sitting there watching them.

"Hey, bub, you know you talk in your sleep?"

"I hope I didn't say anything embarrassing." Sydney joked.

"To be honest, I didn’t understand a damn thing you were saying. I suppose you don’t mind that we saved you from the navy…"

"Not at all, I appreciate it, actually. But... where are we?"

"This is the ship 'Revenge,' and we’re in my room." Sydney had heard that name before... it was the ship of one of the most feared pirates... Wolverine.

"Do you work for Wolverine?"

The man thought for a moment. "I hadn’t thought of it like that, but I guess I do. I work for Wolverine. I’m Logan."

"Sydney. Your room is nice."

"You haven’t seen the best part yet," Logan replied, smiling and showing his teeth. He got up from the bed and motioned for Sydney to follow.

Sydney should’ve been scared, being on this ship with strangers, but they had saved their life, and Logan seemed like a nice guy. The others would probably laugh, calling them “naive and gullible,” but Sydney wasn’t thinking about them.

Logan went to a wall and, pressing a part of it, opened a secret door.

"Wow," Sydney didn’t know ships could have secret doors!

Logan smiled before entering. The secret room was full of things, messy things—probably treasure Logan had collected over the years, with some bottles full of glowing liquids.

"Are those poisons?" Sydney asked.

Logan turned to them, amused. "They’re bubble baths."

"Pirates can take bubble baths?"

"Pirates do whatever they want... but don’t go telling anyone." Logan said with a threatening tone.

"Only if you share one with me," Sydney replied, which made Logan laugh and relax.

But suddenly, they heard voices.

"Logan, are you in here?"

The door to the secret room had been left ajar, and through the small gap, Sydney saw a figure. Logan stood very close behind them.

"Logan, where are you? Don’t waste our time..." The man was huge, both in height and muscles, with a deep voice. When he opened his mouth, Sydney noticed fangs.

"Is that Wolverine?" Sydney whispered, turning to face Logan, their faces very close.

"No, I’m Wolverine," Logan whispered back, putting a finger to his lips. "Shhh."

Sydney had heard Wolverine was unpleasant, but now, being so close, they thought he was sexy.

"Where the hell did he go?" the man grumbled before leaving the room.

Logan leaned closer to Sydney, placing his hand near their head to close the door completely... Sydney thought their heart was about to burst, as Wolverine had them pinned against the door.

"That was Creed. Don’t worry, people confuse us all the time… I think it’s the height." Logan stepped back, giving Sydney some space.

In the end, Sydney joined Logan’s crew... Who would've thought? They were part of Wolverine's crew! Weeks had passed since they joined, and the others seemed to genuinely like them! Creed was a bit grumpy, but Logan seemed to really enjoy their company. The others said he seemed calmer since Sydney joined the crew.

Sydney was sitting on some rocks, looking at the scenery after one of their plans hadn’t worked out "so well" (it was a complete disaster).

"It wasn’t a bad idea," Logan said, sitting next to them.

"It was a terrible idea. I bet you never have bad ideas."

"Oh, shut up."

"How do you do it so well? The whole pirate thing?" Sydney asked.

"I have no idea... but I’m tired. It’s nice to not be Wolverine for once, and just be... Logan." Logan stared pensively at the scenery. "I don’t want to go back to the old days, drinking all day... killing people… it’s not fun."

"Yeah... What’s the point of being something that doesn’t make you happy?"

"These past few weeks... have been the most fun I’ve had in a long time, maybe in years, maybe ever... so..." Logan took a breath as he looked at Sydney "I guess what I’m trying to say is that right now, the thing that makes Logan happy… is you."

"Oh, well that’s—" Sydney smiled, but Logan interrupted them, pressing their lips together, his hand gently resting on their cheek.

Sydney kissed him back, adjusting to place their hands on Logan’s shoulders. When they pulled away, Sydney whispered,

"You make Sydney happy too."
