Phantom Rogue
The GIW had taken everything from Danny, and his life was great before they took his fraid away. They managed to capture him when he was on a walk alone, and then they dragged him to the center of Amity, where they publicly executed his Family and Friends. This caused an Obsession Break in Danny, as he got a new one, Family, when he was accepted by his parents and they all became closer to a normal family.
He lashed out against the GIW Agents, killing them right there, he's mostly lost his mind, as when Vlad came to Danny, he attacked the older Halfa, it wasn't until Vlad uttered two words that Danny snapped out of his blind grief induced rage.
"I'm... sorry..."
Those words were enough to give Danny enough control over himself to run away, but he can feel himself slipping into that blind rage again, amd he's afraid of losing himself again.
Clockwork didn't anticipate that this timeline would come to pass, but he should have known that the Observants would have a hand in it, he'll deal with then later, right now he needs to take a gamble and send Danny to somewhere he could heal, a place to mend his broken Obsession.
Danny finds himself in a Gothic city, and he's close to losing himself again, but he feels a tingling feeling, the kind that he knows he has gotten a new power, and he isn't sure what it is, until he hears a few people around him start to uncontrollably sob, that's when he figures it out, he can share his emotions to those around him, and it seems to be keeping him from that blind rage state, but barely.
Danny has made a plan, he will share his emotions to those around him and expel as much energy in him as much as possible, as his core is making too much because of his Obsession Break, he won't cause harm to anyone around him when he uses his Ghostly Abilities, as it goes against his Protection Spirit nature.
A day later and Danny encounters the Batfam, and he knows they will feel his pain, his loss, and his despair, no one is able to resist the emotions he is sharing, he will share all of his pain to those around him, just so he could be himself again, but will the Batfam be able to calm Danny down and form a familial bond with the grieving boy to mend his Broken Obsession?
