Chapter 1

Logan had felt off lately. He and Wade had literally saved the entire fucking multiverse, moved in together, and they were sleeping in the same bed.

Moving into the two bedroom apartment with the vulgar mercenary and his blind roommate wasn't difficult persay, but it was a bit strange. Everything had been fine though, he'd had a messy confession to Wade and they somehow ended up in a romantic relationship. Surprisingly, Wade didn't jump to sex as soon as they got together, though his jokes were not going to stop anytime soon. Wade had taken up doing mercenary work again as it was more fun and paid more than working at that car place. He'd even invited Logan to join him and sometimes he did, but more often than not he'd stay home and try to realize the differences in this world.

That was the big difference, a large issue, Wade's world didn't have alphas, betas, or omegas. In this world at least Logan didn't have to worry about constantly being told by society that he was only made to have children and be a housewife. A terrifying thought that was. This difference did however bring up the issue for the twice a year torture called a heat. He simply prayed that he was finally old enough to be rid of these heats, but like everything the pain would never stop.

The preheat symptoms hit him about a month after he and Wade had started dating, he wanted to drown all these feelings in alcohol, but he's been trying to get off that stuff since he moved in with Wade. Fighting the urge to nest hurt him so much, but why should he care, he'd been through more pain. One night before bed Wade had picked up on Logan's strange stiffness.

"Baby are you okay?" Wade asked Logan as he settled in bed next to him, looking genuinely concerned.

That had snapped Logan out of his trance, "Yeah Wade. I'm fine." Logan laid backwards, fighting his instincts hurt like a bitch.

"Mhmkay, good luck babe with whatever you've got going on," Wade flopped onto his side facing away from Logan.

The irritation and hunger had seemed to bother him more than anything. He'd finally been eating right after moving in with Wade and he was sure he'd gained a little weight, but telling Wade that wasn't going to happen. Anger had seemed to be his default emotion for most of his life, but now he had less reasons to be angry and he felt guilty whenever he snapped at Wade.

To say the least, Logan wasn't excited about his upcoming heat
