“Maybe I’m just in a bad mood!”, Noel huffed defensively, crossing his arms. Ricky always knew when something was wrong with his boyfriend and he knew something was off.
“Noel, you aren’t like this if something isn’t wrong,” Ricky signed back, putting one hand on the other boys shoulder to which he shoved it off.
“Nothing is wrong!” Noel half-yelled, moving away from Ricky, tears swelling in his eyes. Ricky moved closer, obviously concerned for the shorter boy.
“Noel please—“ he began signing before Noel stood up, shoving him away.
“Do you always have to make it so you’re the saviour! Maybe I’m just having a bad day, but no you have to assume that somethings wrong!” Noel stared daggers into the taller boy, not knowing why he was acting like this. Why couldn’t he just tell him that some customer at work was being rude to him?
“Noel I—“
Noel cut him off once again.
“You what? You can’t just let me have a bad day?! For fucks sakes, Richard!” He yelled, on the brink of tears as he ran out the house.
Ricky felt his heart break into a million pieces as Noel ran out. Why did he have to push him so hard?
Five minutes had passed and Ricky just sat on the couch staring into his hands. Why was Noel so angry? He didn’t know how to deal with Noel while he was like this.
Suddenly he got a notification from discord, from Noel.

He noticed the nickname, that was good right?
Thtfkdupgrl: im sorry I shouldntve gotten angry like that over something so small as you being concerned about me. Something did actually happen, some customer at work called me a fag and gave me some shit for being gay

Ricky smiled at his phone, Noel wasn’t angry at him and he was coming back. All relationships have their ups and downs and this was just a small down.
