Baby Tommy & Mumbo visit the Ranchers

Mumbo sighed as he tried to calm down the small blonde beside him,the kid being no older then six years old and having fat too much energy for the redstoner too handle however he can only blame Grian for that
As he pressed the doorbell,a small grin made its way too his face at the small ‘ding dong’ that was made by redstone,the black haired male forgot the time he had given Jimmy to task of using redstone without Tangos help
Noises that sounded like banging and a small squawk made him zone back in,starting at the door before a small chirp made him glance down to the side,seeing the baby Scarlett macaw holding his arms out with the small wings the flapping happily
Picking Tommy up,the door opened a few seconds later only to reveal a mess of a canary who was flushed a bright red with a netherborn latched onto him,arms wrapped around the slight shorters waist
It took Jimmy a few seconds to process the people in front of him before a warm smile appeared on his face “Mumbo! Oh and Tommy,welcome come in please” with that,the blonde pushed the taller away before moving out the way himself
The two walked in,the scarlett macaw happily chirping like he had heard Grian and Jimmy do before but his hands also lightly hitting his own legs in a strange beat like he’d learnt from Scar,he really had to teach the kid ways to not hurt himself when happy
“Can I get you a drink?” Jimmy asked while leading them to the large living room,quickly letting them sit down on the couch still with a small smile
Mumbo glanced down at his son before letting him go and and watching the blonde race over too a box on the corner,filled with toys that belonged to their own son from back when he was around Tom’s age
With a quick look back,he gave a smile back to the seemingly cursed man “Just a tea for me and if you’ve got coke from him that would be great” Mumbo watched as the other nodded before scurrying off into the room next door,presumably the kitchen
Tango sat next to him with a sigh,being careful to not sit too close incase,he can control his temperature and make himself cooler but Jimmy liked to have the house at freezing temperatures so he decided to stay warmer,Jimmy being the only person to be close as he can’t get hurt from the temperature,something to do with the soulmate codes
“Cute kid” Tango said with a grin,making Mumbo once again jump slightly before looking down at the avain who was simply throwing toys up and down in his own world but it made them both smile
The black haired redstoner leaned back with a sigh,getting comfy while he could “He is,he takes after Scar and Grian more then me” he chuckled slightly,looking back at the blaze “But who knows,maybe he’ll be more like me when he’s older”
A slight bang from the kitchen made them look up,only too see the older avain holding a tray with cups and a plate of cookies standing in the door with a nervous grin before fully walking in and setting down the tray,sitting down next to the blaze
Tommy ran over soon after and sat between Mumbo and Tango,picking up the can of coke and listening to the other three chat about in his opinion was utter nonsense,occasionally reaching forward to grab a chocolate biscuit
After a few minutes,the scarlett macaw started to try and play with Tango’s tail,the small flames that occasionally appeared making him chirp happily as the warmth it gave off,that was before he was gently pulled away
“No Tom,you’ll burn yourself if you touch Tango” Mumbo warned before loosening his grip on the other,only receiving a pout in return “Uncle Jimmy can! Why cant I?” He asked,crossing his arms as he glared at the older
Jimmy in turn chuckled before leaning on Tango “I can because we’re soulmates and some other complicated things” he widely gestured his hand around,not exactly knowing the answer himself
Tommy looked between the two before a grin appeared on his face,climbing his way over to his uncle while not really caring if he’s stable or not before plopping down beside Jimmy
The small red wings flapped only causing Jimmys large yellow wings to do the same,looking down at him with an eyebrow raised “Yeah Tom?”
“You should kiss uncle Tango,it’ll be cool telling people you kissed a blaze” the younger grinned and lightly tapped hit the oldest legs,making sobs sort of beet as he ignored the other growing a bright red and the laughter of the other two
Tango simply moved closer to his partner with a grin on his face “It wont be cool it’ll be hot” the firey blonde joked,earning a slap causing him to let out a cackle,his hair sparking as he laughed “Don’t make jokes like that! He ain’t gonna understand”
Watching the scene,Mumbo laughed along with Tango as his son climbed back over to him still grinning without knowing what was going on but it was fine,running his hands through Tommy’s hair as he happily squawked
