Chapter 5
Small children run and play on bright yellow metal jungle gym equipment. Their constant shrieking practically puts a smile on Agatha’s face. Reminiscing the times she brought her son to the playground, she sits from one end of a red seesaw while Rio sits on the other side with the tips of her emerald green ankle boots buried into soft sand.
“Of all the places, you choose the playground.”
“I like to watch the children,” Agatha explains.
“That doesn’t sound creepy at all,” Rio snorts.
When it’s Agatha’s turn to pump her legs, she feels her entire bodyweight hang in the air; feet dangling.
“I guess, if we really wanted to, we could fuck right under the slide in the woodchips the minute all the kiddos go home…”
“Now who’s sounding creepy?”
Rio lands perfectly on her side of the balance board before giving out a strong push to make Agatha smack back down on her bottom with a playful smirk.
A girl approaches the two witches in the sandbox and ogles Agatha.
“Isn’t there a padded cell you need to be?” the voice of Dottie questions Agatha the minute she approaches to retrieve her daughter.
“No ma’am.”
“You’re a very sick person,” Dottie begins to pull her daughter by the arm.
“Who spends the afternoon staring at children all day long?!”
“You know, I liked you better when you was a librarian!” Agatha sneers.
“Beat it, Blondie,” Rio adds with good measure.
