Rainy awaking.

Peter Parker was just 22 when he found himself waking up in a dirty alleyway, a backpack on his back, with his head pounding in his head from a headache. He slowly sat up, his muscles sore from who knows what happened. And as he was trying to regain his senses fully, realization set in. Realizing he just woke up in an empty, nasty alleyway in who knows where. Pipes above him dripping water into a puddle, accompanied with the heavy rain, next to his sore body, rats and cockroaches crawling around in the cracks of the bricks or in the shadows of the city. He fully jumped up, spider senses kicking in as he glanced around, his guard up. Peter Parker had no clue where he was, and this wasn’t good.

He got his (limited edition deadpool) backpack that he woke up with on his back, and rushed out of the alleyway. His feet splashing in the puddles in haste to find some ground to go off of to try to figure out where the heck he was. It was raining so his hair and him, in general, were soaking wet and cold, the clothes he had on barely holding any warmth. The skies were dark and cloudy with rain clouds, the moon barely being visible with all of it combined with some fog down low. He could also barely see the skies though with the tall city buildings filled with late night employees, blocking the view, and talk about light pollution out here.

The rain and fog polluted the space, or that was the actual pollution, but the city wasn't the best from what he could tell. Litter was all around, and there were some bystanders but little enough of them for it to be odd enough. He walked down the sidewalk, his attention bouncing around from one thing to the next. This was like playing a game of geoguessr and figuring out where the heck he was. He was never that good at geoguessr, even though he’s been to a bunch of places.

Until he was so distracted on something he felt his body stop and get bumped in the shoulder, his spider senses making him back up and stand up fully though. When he looked at the person that bumped into him, he found out it was a cop with a badge on his chest that says ‘GCPD’.

“Oh, uh. Sorry, officer. I –

The cop gave him a look up and down as he cut Peter off. “Watch where yer goin’ boy. You might bump inta someone you don’t wanna. Ya’know how gotham peeps are.” The cop expressed as he shoved a burrito (that was dripping all over the cops hand with this gross sauce, yuck.) into his mouth, chewing on it aggressively. Peter didn’t know how these ‘gotham peeps’ were, and didn’t really want to find out.

And before the spider-boy could respond, the cop gave him another look and walked off, bumping into him again as he walked off to do who knows what and eat his nasty burrito.

Now Peter had another dilemma in a dilemma, he found out where he was, in a way, now he had to figure out where this gotham place was. Because even though he knows most places in, he assumes America, since the cop spoke english, but he had never heard of this ‘gotham’ place before. There were multiple things that could’ve happened, 1. Gotham’s an actual place just didn’t know it. 2. He’s in a different universe that was far away from his own. 3. This is all just not real. But, the cop had a similar accent to a New York one, and he knows most places nearby New York, since he lived in queens.

He hoped it was situation 1 though.

But, first of all he had to focus on getting shelter or he’d have a nasty cold if he didn’t already have one from this weather. So Peter continued going through this city, his arms now hugging himself to get some warmth. As he was walking he then noticed an abandoned building, and from the looks it was an apartment building. One that was called wood side apartments. (/ref) So, as one would do, he climbed up the wall, making sure no one was nearby to see him use his powers, and he slid through the window, tumbling inside. It was a breath of fresh air as he sat on the ground, shaking his head to get some water out of his hair like a dog. When he was sat he grabbed his backpack he had woken up with and searched through it, curious.

The deadpool backpack included a:

Spider-man suit
One extra pair of clothes
Bandaids (The barely working princess ones)
Books
Walkie-Talkie

He tried to use the walkie-talkie, “Hello? This is Peter Parker, anyone there?” but it was only static from the other side so he just threw it back in the backpack with everything else, sighing.

But, at least he wasn’t totally doomed. He slowly got up, looking around the abandoned apartment room. The floors were hard ware but it had random trash and scraps on it, maybe from recent incidents or break ins. It had an old looking couch covered by plastic, probably left behind because it was no good. So, Peter took the plastic off. The couch was in no way nice but he wasn't one to take the floor over the couch. But before resting;

He decided he definitely needed to change out of his rain soaked clothes. He grabbed the fresh ones out of his backpack and changed into them. He then left the wet ones out to dry in the apartment as he laid down on the couch, using his backpack as a make-shift pillow. So, he had shelter and was now in some sweatpants and a t-shirt, a lot more comfortable than his previous wet jeans and long sleeve shirt.

He should probably get some sleep, but he definitely didn't feel completely safe here. Although he didn’t have much of a choice. So, he tried to relax on the couch, all the previous adrenaline from this whole situation wearing off and the weariness, soreness and the tiredness slowly kicking in. He then fully got a hold of it. Letting out a long sigh as he thought about how he’s gonna get back to queens and get out of here, where he was and the possibilities of everything. And how he woke up here randomly.

Peter tried to think back to his last memory before waking up here, but it was all a blur for some reason. And then he slowly got blurry as well, as his eyelids began to shut and it just all faded as Peter Parker fell asleep.

An hour after Peter was soundly sleeping, all his worries gone in his sleep as he dreamed of blissful things, he walkie talkie spoke up. It was muffled enough from his interior of the backpack that Peter did not wake up to hear and receive the message.

But, as the voice crackled and spoke. “Spider-man, report in. This is — —- — — and we need — - — we are – —---- - locate you. Stay sa– – ….”

And the walkie talkie stopped speaking after the message ran. The message played maybe 2-3 times over the night, and everytime Peter did not hear.
