Note
Author's Note: To anyone starting this story. I must warn you guys, I like Katsuki Bakugou because he's a nuanced character. You guys may not like him which are entirely valid reasons but I can assure you I find him very agreeable. He dislikes Izuku not just cause he's a quirkless guy but because that dude from an outsider's perspective is very weird. And now, let us start this story.

First Debut

"Welcome again, Katsuki-kun."

"Hey."

Katsuki replied plainly as he walked past the clerk, paying the teen no mind. A mutant-type Quirk was what she born with, if the fox-shaped head were any indication. Covered in brown-orange fur with her a mop of black hair with a bluish tint. Shizuka Nagai was her name if the name tags were any indications, nice girl as well.

"If she knows what you are like, would she change?"

Most people can safely say they are not insane because most people are quite sane. Katsuki also qualifies under this category and to make matters worse, the voice in his head is not a figment of his imagination. It is in fact a very real entity that he found in an alleyway by chance.

The fact that alien lifeform exists sends shivers down his spine. Honestly, he is still creeped out by this fact. The black parka he wore wriggled under the shirt, a clear sign of the alien symbiote listening on to the thoughts. The second sign that the alien was focusing was how his vision started to turn blurry, a sense of nausea begun to ebb into the mind.

The world around him were starting to form twins, shaky twins at that. The man's footing became weak, forcing him to latch onto one of the stands for stability.

"Never forget who holds the leash, you peon." The alien barked. After his words, the defects were erased. His visions returned to full, nausea disappeared and even the shaky feeling disappeared. He breathed a sigh of relief, cracking the neck.

"....Fine." He choked out.

"You okay?" Shizuka asked, showing concern for the boy.

Katsuki frowned, deciding to say nothing and simply gave her a positive gesture. She seems satisfied and went back focusing on the magazine she was reading. The explosion user's attention turned towards products offered.

Snacks, biscuits and instant noodles aren't ideal food. They don't provide the nutritional value he seek. The blonde ignored those garbage food as he preferred the others. Rice balls by the dozens, boxes of instant lunches and chocolate bars and milks. Those were the ones that he wanted.

Making a quick backtrack to snatch up a basket to collect all the items he desired, he quickly went to get as much as he wanted.

"Get more of those chocolate milk. Those chocolate with the nuts are also tasty."

"Do you remember who pilots this body?" Asked the blonde. He made a small spark ignite in his palm. A tiny explosion that was equal to a meagre firecracker. And yet it worked as the entity snarled. The alien's growl of disdain was akin to a lion expressing disapproval.

A loud and fear-inducing sound. On the other hand, Katsuki had spent enough time to know the guy is more boast than action.

"Insolent human."  It growled. "Do you not know without me you would've died?"

'You are the insolent one.' Katsuki returned with the same bile. 'I could've handled those schmucks easily. I got your fucking kryptonite if you don't recall. So stop treating me like trash or I'll burn you alive.'

"Fuck you, boy. As the humans put it. You deserve losing everything!"

'Fine, I'm not buying the nutty chocolate bars anymore. You'll just have to settle for the chocolate milk.'

"No, no, forget what I said earlier. You were right. That greenette was an absolute weirdo."

'Damn right.'  Katsuki smirked as he took the rice balls, the chocolate milk cartons and a couple more of instant lunch sets.

The front door's bell rang, signifying a new customer had entered the vicinity. He also heard the sound of a gun being cocked. Ducking behind the shelves, Katsuki peeked his head out enough for him to catch the image of the would-be criminals.

A tall and broad-shouldered fellow, tanned skin and wore clothing that made him look like a stereotypical thug from a western movie. The distinguishing aspect of his physical appearance was the green mohawk and sharp fangs in place of usual teeth.

In the robber's hand was a small piece of firearm. Aimed directly at the frightened woman.

"Put the money in the bag and no one gets hurt." The robber demanded.

She started to comply with his request but not before she spared a glance at his direction. Katsuki quickly ducked behind the shelf. Hoping the man wouldn't pick up the small sign.

"Anyone there, get up or I'll blow this girl's brain out." A shot was fired, breaking pieces of the ceiling. Katsuki took a deep breah and exhale, trying to mentally psych himself for what will come next.

"Excellent. Let us become a hero. A Lethal Hero." It cackled.

Katsuki set down the groceries, making sure he doesn't ruin anything in case the encounter escalated. The blonde hoped-not pray-the robber doesn't have some insanely overpowered quirk. He was planning to have a nice eat-out and not get into conflict for the night.

Leaving behind the safety of the store shelf, Katsuki made his presence known when he stepped forward. His hands raised up into the air as a sign of lacking any weapons or mobile phones to call the law enforcers. Although he wasn't planning on calling the cops to begin with.

The man's eyes, a darker shade of green than the dork, widened in recognition. Katsuki took note of the small reaction. Is the man a member of a gang he took out? If so, which gang and does he seek to avenge himself.

"Man, is that Katsuki Bakugou?" He asked, a smile forming.

"How do you know my name?" Katsuki asked.

"He's one of your highschool mates. One of the many losers that hung out with you." The alien pointed out. "The thug's name is Iwae Kaiba."

"It's me, Iwae. We use to go to highschool together. Remember?"

Realization came to him at a flash. Literally since the symbiote must have poked around his mind. This thing that the alien does always constantly annoys him, an attempt to be helpful as it puts it. He saw an image of the guy running his mouths, following him around and even showing off what his Quirk can do.

But for some reason the Quirk showing off part was blurted out.

"Apparently you really didn't care for this guy. Wow, what a douchebag for a host I have."

"Oh yeah, you're Iwae right. You've seem hit it hard." Katsuki stated off-handedly, glancing at the cashier.

"Haha, same arrogant asshole back in highschool I see." Iwae commented. "You know I never liked you anyway. That's why I tattled on you like the others did."

Before either could react, Iwae turned the pistol and fired several shots after the confession. What took him by surprise was a giant mass of silvery-grey tendril shot out of his chest, phasing completely through the clothes to block the attack.

The offender took a step back, looking at the same tendril wrapping itself around the pistol. In one swift motion, the firearm broke but the same doesn't apply to his hand. Small stones covered the skin, providing protection against the appendage.

It receded back to him, engulfing his frame. More viscous, grey slime poured out of the pores of the blonde's body. He felt it travelled around the meat body, coating him and expanding in size. Everything within the vicinity seems to shrink in size and this applies to the thug.

"Y-you're the Lethal Hero!"

"Correct." Katsuki and the entity spoke in unison. A large hand, gray in coloration, land on his shoulders.

"And you're the punk who thought he's tough shit. And we are Riot." Riot grinned, showing off a row of sharp fangs longer than the thug's own set.

A left hook and right hook came in quick motion. There was taste of blood and knocked tooth, surprising the newly named Riot. A mild taste of disorientation washed over Riot.

"Come on you fucking freak." Iwae roared. His body is now encased by something akin to stones. Riot noted the Quirk must provide the young human a certain degree of superhuman strength and durability. Those punches were quite potent for a normal human. He hadn't felt that much pain since ever.

"We will comply." Riot laughed, rearing back an arm, tightening the hand into a fist. The mass constituting his right arm ballooned up in size, becoming twice its' earlier mass. Spikes popped out of the knuckles.

"Catch meatbag." Riot's laughter was accompanied by a powerful fist hurled forward. A connection results in the stone-skinned criminal getting knocked off his feet, the momentum throwing the robber out of the store; automated door pulverized into a mess as he flew out into the streets.

Riot laughed his horrible laugh as he stepped out into the streets. A deep and meaningful inhale of the night air before exhaling. The few pedestrians passing by halted in their steps, realizing what they had stumbled upon. Riot noted how the people are taking out their phones to record them.

A long and red tongue slithers out of the jaw, lapping up the miniature knives for fangs.

'Do you have to do that?' Katsuki asked.

"We must make a statement." It growled, marching up to their opponent. He threw a strong hook to which Iwae ducked under and retaliated with a powerful shot to the liver. The surface of the belly vibrated, rippling under the powerful blow.

"Oof, you do have some strength." Riot chuckled, both hands growing in size into cumbersome weapons of pain.

"Entertain us."

A heavy, engorged blunt weapon descended down upon the stone-encased monster's head at a high speed. Amusement filled Riot's core as the fighter managed to raise his guard up, the stony limbs raised up. The surface of the stone armor were beginning to crack but Riot's attention was drawn towards the robber's body. He was growing larger, his head shaping to become akin to sharks. Small fangs grow sharper and longer, matching Riot's own set of fangs.

"Fine then. I'll avenge my friends." Iwae roared.

"Excellent!"

Riot's fist collided against the rock-man's own stony appendage, creating a powerful shockwave that caused the road under them to crack. Satisfaction on Riot's end while Iwae's action were fueled by anger and vengeance, the two were locked into an exchange of barrage of fists. Each and every one of the attacks on both sides contained the intent to kill.

Their clash eventually devolves to a common brawl. Neither side were willing to give an inch, knowing full well the implication that would come from that gesture. Sooner or later, one of them would lose this battle.

Riot held back one of his strikes, smiling at what would come. His predictions rang true as the man attempted to throw a fierce haymaker. Moments before it collided, he willed the mass of the torso to shift, opening a path for it to enter. At will, the mass formed around the extended limbs and the sharp blade hastily formed inside it, sliced through the arm.

"My hand!!!" Iwae roared. Promptly silenced by Riot, dropping a double hammer strike atop the head, crushing it in an instant. A somewhat gentle blow as Riot had held back a great deal of his strength. It was enough to break the stone armor and causes blood to pour from the cracked skull.

One of the pedestrian, a woman no doubt, screamed in horror at the sight. Riot merely sigh, hoping the bitch stopped screaming. Since she didn't fainted, the entity turned around to do it himself but find his body struggling to do so.

"We don't kill civilians." Katsuki snapped. Flames begun cracking up in their palm, causing Riot tremendous discomfort.

"But she's running her mouth. I-I mean-we, were doing our job. I didn't eat him like the last one."

"You already lost nutty chocolate privilege and now you wanna bitch about the agreement? Screw this, we are leaving! Let's take the groceries and bail." Katsuki snapped.

"Fine, so be it." The two agreed, went inside to pick up the bags. As they walked out, they dumped the right changes of money for the food. Small pockets formed on Riot's body, taking in the food.

"Thanks." The fox girl chirped from behind the counter. Enough to see her head. There was a frightened expression. Riot paused in his steps before turning to the woman and gave a heartfelt smile.

"You're welcome." He barked.

Their feet shifted and leapt high into the sky, aiming for one of the building. Without wasting any time they quickly begun moving across the night sky as the sound of police sirens are heading their way. The heroes, if they are competent, must be converging on their area at thias

(Linebreak)

Trudging down the dirty hallway of the motel was Katsuki Bakugou. He quickly moved, relieved he had evaded the law enforcement for another time. It wasn't as thrilling as last time cause he saw All Might had even took to the field. It terrified him.

But they succeeded in their evasion. And now they are safe for another day. Riot managed to help made a set of different clothes and changed his hair colour when they landed. The cops were looking for Katsuki Bakugou, not a stranger.

Opening the door to his motel room, what greeted him was mediocrity. A one-man sofa fit for one person, facing against a small television and a table set near the sofa. Hanging above the ceiling was a ceiling fan that needed washing. There were too many dust sticking on the surface.

Closing the door behind him with a small shove using the foot, Katsuki set the food down and turned on the lights. Rather it was Riot who did, popping a tendril out to flick the switch on and another thrusted out towards the TV switch to turn it on. With the remote, he tuned in to the news channel.

"Today we are here with the pro Hero Snatch who was the first few that arrived on the scenes. " The news reporter stated, offering a microphone to the sand-wielding hero.

"Now, Chiri, I don't really have a high opinion on this scumbag. The man, had been killing off criminals and taking the laws into his own hand."

"I see. And what do you make of his...unique Quirks?"

"Probably a Mutant type. Quirks are getting stronger and more potent with each generation. Not that I'm implying I'm a believer in any theory of course. Just saying what I think on this fellow. He might even be a common hoodlum whpo"

"But he has only been targeting criminals. Isn't that a good thing?"

"He's killing criminals left and right. Criminals or not, he is still acting as if his justification comes from his strength. Listen, I'm a pro hero, not an advocate for serial killers."

"Rude. We only kill really bad people or bad people with unique Quirks." Chirped Riot.

"Holy fucking shit, I'm starting to regret this partnership." Katsuki moaned, leaning back into the sofa in sheer exhaustion, palming the face in distress.

This was a disaster. They amputated the criminal in front of live audience. Everyone can see their face now and if that fox girl ran her mouth. It would be the end of them. He's still suffering from what the people did to him. Bad enough he couldn't become a real hero, now there's a chance he can't become a vigilante anymore.

"Cheer up pal. We did good work. I got a new Quirk user to digest and you get to be on a front page of a newspaper."

"Yeah, great. Let the whole world know a former bully is the Lethal Hero. Great plan man. What you think gonna happen to us if they learn who we are?"

"Fame, money and bitches. I like that one black haired girl. The one with big tits. She looks like an excellent match for Agony." Riot's words made him feel ill. He never cared much for the fairer sex but that way of thinking is just gross on several levels. It reminds him of that pervert and that dweeb is still getting to become a pro hero for goodness sake!

He switched channels. Best to see what the news channel speak about him.

"Today the Lethal Hero strikes again."

Channel switched.

"We are here live with the two pro heroes Snatch and Mount Lady discussing about this new hero."

Channel switched yet again if only to avoid Riot wanting to have Mount Lady's genetic material.

"The law enforcements do not tolerate this kind of behavior. For the past few months ever since this 'Riot' has appeared, crime rate have reduced and that is true. But he slaughtered and mutilate criminals indiscriminately."

"A better deterrence if you ask me. All Might has been appearing less and less frequently and even with the strongest hero of Japan, we could never fully get rid of criminals. Even Endeavor's impressive track record, we still have criminals prowling the streets."

Channels switched yet again. This one had a photo of him during a patrol wearing the symbiote.

A tall, muscled monster with a permanent grin that befits a serial killer. In the hand was a criminal stabbing him. He remember who that punk was. It was some schmuck that tried to force himself on a girl.

"The Lethal Hero: Riot as it had introduced itself, has been hounding the streets of our beautiful nation. Whether he is a disgruntled hero wanting to relive former glory or a young child who failed to enter any of the prestigious hero institution, there is one thing for certain. He lives up to his own appointed moniker."

"See, no more talk of your bullying case."

Katsuki made no reply, unwrapping the food and chowing down. Riot made a happy sound, clearly sensing the food entering the belly. The blonde's stomach growled as it begun to digest the food. Today had been a good day. Today, he felt like a hero even if he did amputated someone's arm off. Then again, that guy thought it'll be a great idea to shoot a former school mate.

"Prick indeed."
