Basement Shenanigans
Once again, Rio and Agatha were out the door. “Dinner was lovely dear… Oh, I’m so excited for you to see more of Westview!” Mrs. Hart excitedly exited with her arm wrapped around Mr. Hart. “I’ll be waiting for that tea party then. Both of you should get home safe, goodnight!” Wanda waved them away. Agatha was still clinging on to Rio, afraid she might go and say something morbid again, and Rio didn’t complain. Why would she?
“We best get going too Wanda, Señor Scratchy is not gonna feed himself!” Agatha laughed with a light tug on Rio’s shoulder. “You know, I gave her Senior Scratchy. Sometimes I wonder if she loves that darn rabbit more than me.” Rio sarcastically laughed. Wanda and Vision gave a chuckle while Agatha gave a daring smile with a nod. Looks like she even didn't know that. “You two complement each other well. Have a goodnight then, neighbors.” Vision smiled and Agatha gave a picture perfect loving look at Rio. “Before you go, Agnes, thank you again for your help. You are a doll.” Wanda added, referencing the earlier kitchen troubles. Agatha gave a good laugh, “Anything for you darling.” – “Oh you.” Wanda replied and waved the two off.

With a loud thud, the door closed and the sight of a perfect pairing crumbled into a confusing mess. Agatha quickly dragged Rio down to her basement. “Hey, slow down. Didn’t think you would be this excited to see me.” She snickered. “Oh get a hold of yourself Rio.” She let go as she pushed her in the ruins. Rio looked at her with an offended face, except she wasn't offended in the slightest, she was amused, maybe even aroused. Reminds her of their old dates back in Salem. “This place fits you. It's a little far from the old one… but it works.” She gave a comment while Agatha escaped her little 50’s facade. Rio’s eyebrows raised as she felt something different in her pocket, she pulled out a little scalpel on the side of her dress.
“You just had to tell them I was a doctor.”
She held up the scalpel to the light. Her dagger turned into a thin surgical scalpel.
“Look what happened to my dagger!”
“Ironic isn’t it?”
Agatha joked while she circled around Rio.
“A mortician would have been better.” Rio rolled her eyes, doctors are annoying. Agatha already knew this of course. “Wouldn’t fit the whole… you know.” Agatha replied. She stood right in front of her now. At least they weren’t in black and white anymore. “What makes you think that lesbian wives in a 50’s sitcom world fits better?” Rio argued with a laugh. “Why are you even here…” Rio followed, leaning closely at Agatha’s face. “What do you think? I crave power, so I came for power.” She argued. Rio moved in closer but Agatha quickly moved away.
“Besides, can’t you be thankful that I saved you from a fairly awkward meeting with our lovely neighbors.” Agatha teased, putting her best face on to hide her flustered face. Rio could see right through it, making her wonder how far she could take it.
“Imagine the mess I would have to clean up if I didn't arrive on time…” Agatha mumbled.
“I’ve answered your question. Answer mine, are you following me again? I swear I said-” Agatha turned back at Rio with a serious face. “Don’t be too full of yourself my love~ I couldn’t ever since you got that…” She glanced behind at Agatha’s altar where the Darkhold sat, she pointed her finger right at it with a sly smile. “I was here to collect a soul… If you want to know that too.” Rio said in a guarded manner, it only made Agatha more confused. “Didn’t think the woman had it in her…” Agatha looked away, did Wanda?
“Well nobody was killed… If that's what you mean. Someone brought them back before they could even die.” Rio crossed her arms, she was irritated just by thinking of it. “Really… that sucks, for you. Good on him though.” Agatha replied with a sigh. She could see how it was bothering Rio, the woman values her job above all else of course. But, she did enjoy teasing the woman back. “Don't things like that happen?” Agatha scoffed, surely Rio wasn't watching the person die right before her? “I'm sorry…” Agatha gave a laugh and Rio tilted her head. “I forget how much of a sadist you are.” Rio rolled her eyes with a small laugh.
“Please, you enjoy it so much more than I do… Besides… The man was already slipping.” Rio's answer caught Agatha's attention, more on the last part, the first just annoyed her. “What, so he was yanked back in?” She asked in disbelief. “Precisely my love~” Rio leaned close as she held her hands back. “You are so-”
“Dashing? Amazing? Wonderful?” Rio cut her off with a cheeky smile.
“No. What I meant to say is… you know what, never mind!” Agatha walked away heading for the stairs. “Hey! Are you just gonna leave me here?” Rio sweetly shouted. Agatha turned back with a tired annoyed sigh. “Can you not get out yourself? You know my ruins don't work on you…” Agatha leans by the wall followed by some annoyed hand gestures.
Rio looks at Agatha with a little embarrassment. A bulb suddenly lit up in Agatha’s head and she burst with a laugh. “Okay, you can't just laugh at me like that…” Rio was embarrassed to accept it. “I'm not saying anything…” Agatha replied with her hand covering her laughter.
“I'm really not going to answer your questions now… and I know you have many!”
“God… fine… I won't laugh…” Agatha covered her mouth and hid a soft snicker. Rio couldn’t help but watch longingly at Agatha's cute little laugh. She couldn't keep her annoyed face on for much longer.
“So… what happened? I'm dying to know…pun intended.” Agatha flicked her hair back. Rio could notice the blackened tips of her fingers. Agatha was using the Darkhold much more often.
“I could see them trying to interfere…” Rio looked down as she mumbled. Recalling back her steps, Rio found herself confused.
“And? “ Agatha impatiently asked. Rio crossed her arms. “You know what I do when people interfere right…” She responded, she played with the ever so sharp scalpel. It left no wounds even with Rio gliding its blades on her fingertips.
Agatha knew it all, but of course she won't admit that.
“Just say it Vidal.” Agatha was impatient as ever now that she looked back at their times together.
“I was going to pull him myself… but” She stopped, Rio was walking in circles.
“Something pulled me in. When I reached for him, something pulled back. Really annoying, but look where it got me.” Rio flirtingly bit her lip as she looked Agatha up and down.
“Goddammit…” Agatha rolled her eyes followed by a habitual hand gesture.
“I'm gonna need more than that Vidal…” Agatha replied but Rio just laughed. This would be one long night… for Agatha at least.
