Chapter Fifteen.
Suddenly, Logan went flying backward hitting a wall and staying pinned against it, a large metal plank came shooting at Mokuba, causing Scott to quickly blast it before another one hit Storm backing her up against a pole.
As it wrapped around her metal chains bundled Mokuba and Scott together causing Scott to have his deadly visor pointed right at the man he loved, a metal strip wrapped around Jean's wrist before it pinned her to the ground.
They all looked before Magneto floated down in front of them.
"Ah, my brothers, sisters, welcome."
Suddenly, Sabertooth pounced down in front of Mokuba and Scott "you'd better close your eyes" Magneto commented to Scott before Sabertooth swiped Scott's visor, Mokuba's eyes widened at that before Scott kept his eyes tightly closed.
"You son of a bitch! I'll..."
"Careful now, Mokuba, you don't want to accidentally nudge your red-glassed boy toy into opening his eyes," Magneto commented, Logan glared "Storm, fry him!" Logan yelled at him before Mokuba looked at him like he was mad.
"Are you out of your fucking mind! This building is practically a large copper conductor if storm throws a lightning bolt, she’ll kill us all!" Mokuba snapped, "why do none of you understand what I'm trying to do?" Magneto asked, "those people down there, they control our fate, and the fate of every other mutant well, soon our fate will be theirs." He declared.
"Help! Please help me!"
Mokuba frowned at Rogue's yell.
"You think this'll make everything better? It won't make things better; you'll make everything worse for us all!" Mokuba yelled, Magneto gave Mokuba a blank look before moving to Rogue, who was by the torch with the machine.
Mokuba looked frustrated before he saw Sabertooth still had Scott's visor "Scotty, baby, listen to me I'm going to teleport to get your visor," Mokuba assured, "just keep your eyes closed, kay?" Mokuba asked and Scott nodded.
"I will."
Mokuba teleported out the chains causing Sabertooth to growl before Mokuba appeared behind him, "Hey, furball, over here!" Mokuba yelled before Sabertooth moved to swipe him.
Mokuba easily dodged, swiping Scott's visor as he did so, before he blew out a frost-cold breath onto the ground below him.
As Sabertooth fell onto his back Mokuba bolted to Scott and slipped it on his face "hey, Scott, baby it's okay, you can open your eyes," Mokuba assured before Scott blasted the chains freeing himself, as Sabertooth leaped for Mokuba Scott grabbed Mokuba's arm, pulling him behind him before blasting him out of the window.
Scott quickly freed the others before they heard the machine power up.
"We gotta get her out of there," Logan commented and Mokuba nodded, "Babe, can you hit it?" Mokuba asked and Scott shook his head.
"The rings are moving too fast."
"Just shoot it!"
Scott glared at that "I'll kill her!" Scott yelled before Mokuba looked thoughtful, "what if...what if I teleport up there, I can grab Rogue get out and then you fire," Mokuba suggested.
"Mokuba, that's crazy, you know that" Jean told him and Storm nodded, "Jean's right, you can't control where you're going if you don't have a location to ground you," Storm agreed before Scott looked unsure.
"Mokuba..."
"Scott, people are going to die, millions will die! Let me try," Mokuba told him, Scott sighed "fine, be careful," Scott reminded before Mokuba nodded.
"Of course."
