Chapter four.
Scott appeared in the doorway with a swarm of students just as Mokuba let go and passed out, Rogue backed away from Mokuba in fear as Scott rushed to Mokuba's side "Shit, Mokie why would you do that" Scott said worried before Jean and Storm joined his side.
"Scott, we need to get him to the infirmary!"
"I didn't mean to hurt him," Rogue shakily said as she wrapped her arms around herself before Scott picked Mokuba up into his arms, "I got you baby, you’re going to be okay" Scott assured before carrying him to the infirmary.
When he got there Scott saw Charles was waiting for him, "put him down here, Scott," Charles instructed and Scott did so.
"Will he be okay, Professor?" Scott worriedly asked grasping Mokuba's hand, Scott frowned at how lifeless Mokuba looked and how unlike the man he loved he was.
"I believe so, he appears to just be drained of his energy, I'll run some tests just to be sure," Charles assured Scott who nodded, "okay, good, you stupid selfless man," Scott muttered as Charles got to work.
Scott stayed by Mokuba's side and Charles didn’t fight him to leave, after an hour of diligent examination Charles finally stopped.
"Okay, I've run all the tests he's gonna be fine; he just needs time to recover," Charles promised, Scott sighed in relief at that "oh, thank God," Scott said relieved and Charles nodded.
"Me too, I'd like him to remain here till he wakes” Charles told Mokuba, “call me when he does, I'm going to go inform Storm and Jean that he’s okay" Charles said before wheeling off.
Scott tiredly pulled up a chair and sat down next to Mokuba before falling asleep next to him their fingers connected to each other.
Morning came soon another and Mokuba groaned feeling like he was on deaths door, Mokuba winced sitting up slightly before he saw he was in the infirmary.
The events of the previous night caught up with him at once.
"Oh my god Rogue!!"
