Unfortunate News + Beginning of Hazbin Hotel
So, I have decided to discontinue this mostly because of difficulty. It was too ambitious for me and I didn't have all the things to do it. As in, I did have easy access on my tablet to some of the fandoms.
Specifically, Prime Video for Charlie and Lucy, Apple TV+ for Mebh and Robyn, aforementioned lack of a physical copy of No Way Home for parts of Garfield-Peter, and little connection for Ranboo, and maybe other stuff I've forgotten.
So, I will let others take this and remake it if they want, just credit me. After this, I will post the few plans for certain things along with a basic character basis for Richard.
I wish I could have done this, but with my trouble at finishing ideas plus little understanding or access to some things, this has to be put down.
So, enjoy the beginning of what would have been the Hazbin Hotel reaction as I make the ideas + Richard base sheet and then, free reign is yours.
Though, for Chicago, you will have to make your own designs as I am not going to send photos of high schoolers to randos on the internet.
Charlie ran ecstatically around the perfect recreation of the Pre-War hotel. Well, there were more seats than before in front of the TV, but there were more than 7 creatures here.
The others looked around at the place, each having their own reaction. Mebh and Robyn each were curious at things inside they didn't recognize. William smiled at the color, it looked like he had visited with a couple brats and painted the walls, through the group didn't know, but that Mat guy seemed suspicious.
Speaking of Mat, he was looking around with a theorists eye, trying to find things to piece a story. Carrot Cookie could see all the hard work that seemed to have made the place, though it wasn't her type of hard work, she could still appreciate it.
Scar smirked, this place was perfect for royalty, of only he could feel that. Peach could also feel the royalty in the place, she wondered if Charlie was of royalty, though she seemed too humble and kind to really care.
Master Hand was unimpressed, the room had creativity, yes, a being of pure creativity could know, but compared to what it could do, the room was nothing. Lucy was amazed, it didn't look like a vault, but only Vault-Tec could have the resources to make such a huge building.
Pomni looked... nervous was an understatement. After what she's experienced in the Digital Circus, she's unable to get it out of her head that Caine would pop out and ruin everything. Peter-3 looked and immediately spotted any places to hide or run to lower property damage, after what Harry did, he ran on his Spider Sense and his ability to spot things.
Ranboo looked around the room, getting happier and happier, no cameras, no Showfall, not any Hetch in sight. Bilbo felt comfort leaking from the walls, not like he felt in his hobbit hole, but comfort, still. Roberta couldn't describe her feelings, as she had no idea what anything was, she had just been given a human body an hour ago.
Amos looked around at the place, perfect for royalty or a vaudeville star, not a low life like him, who couldn't even place his love in the right person. DougDoug and Twitch Chat were... there, Doug was more focused on the mental seven-year-old android hivemind next to him than the room, and Twitch Chat was... Twitch Chat.
Lydia looked around, but mostly focused on Charlie. She was like Barbara, and made Lydia feel happy, while Beetlejuice could tell what Lydia was thinking, smiled, and then looked at the hotel lobby, 'eh, could use more black, and white, and stripes, and me.'
Genie looked at the design of the place, felt just like a musical could happen right inside. Mr. Shivers and his daughter, Hannah Shivers smiled at bit, this place could be a nice rest stop if Madison ever gets too ruined by you-know-what for them to continue living there. The Employee, or Dave, his name before The Company, spotted various little trinkets that could get him some credits, but there was no Company here, so he had no reason to steal.
"Welcome to the lightest side of Hell, and yes, that is literal," Richard said before opening some window blinds, revealing a landscape of red. In the city was gunshots, fire, explosions, screams, and everything that tells you absolute Hell was breaking loose.
"That is what would happen if none of the Sinner Overlords were civil." He closed the blinds, "Anyways, you're here to react to Charlie's reality, which is a musical. So prepare for lots of 🎵Singing~!🎵"
In the middle of his note, a banging from the club's doors opening began. "Oh, right... Be right back," Richard ran out of the room before running back in with a slightly disheveled man.
He had an orange beard, dyed black hair, wore a black trench coat, shirt, trousers and shoes, and for some reason, was covered in blue ink. "This here is Gary King, be careful with him, he's always drunk."
Richard threw the man onto a comfortable couch, which people moved from. He laid there, seemingly unconscious before being brought back into reality. "Uuuuh, what the... bollacks?"
The man looked at the group in front of him, "What the fuck?" Richard stepped up, "Don't worry, we aren't Blanks. Those fuckheads had their fate coming!" He poured himself a cup of whisky before tossing a water bottle to Gary.
"Really? You get to drink while I have to have... fucking rain?" "Shut up, Gary, you need it. So, as I was saying, first up is Charlie's reality, it is a musical, so what better way to start than by with the opening number."
Richard reached into his pockets, pulling out two pairs of earbuds and handing them to Charlie. "These are for Mebh and Robyn, you know how you're world is, so they will automatically censor anything that needs to be censored. Yes, even visual stuff, don't question it"
He turned to the group, "This will contain various swears and other not child friendly acts. So does anyone else want the earbuds." No one raised their hand, so Richard nodded and turned the TV on.
[The TV started with a shot of a book titled, 'The Story of Hell.' It opened to pure white with Charlie saying the tried and true phrase, "Once upon a time..."]
"This will lead to the opening number, just wanted you to know the 'backstory.' " Richard said in airquotes.
["...there was a glowing city protected by golden gates, known as Heaven." The pure white became clouds as glowing skyscrapers appeared before a golden gate.]
