Chapter 2
A young boy with blonde hair and blue eyes watched the sun rise. This was Thor, the son of Odin and Freya.
Thor ran into his parents room jumping up and down on their bed, telling his parents to wake up.
"You're sons awake." Odin groaned. "Before the sun rises, hes your son." Freya mumbled, burring her face in the pillow.
Thor leaned down and used his hand to pry open Odins good eye. "Come on, you promised." He said.
Odin chuckled and sat up. "alright, alright. I'm up."
Together, the King and prince walked together to the balconey.
"Look around, Thor. Everything you see here is our kingdom. A king's time as ruler rises a falls like the sun. One day, Thor, the sun will set on my time here and will rise with you as king." Odin asked. "And all this will be mine?" Thor asked. Odin nodded.
Thor looked into the distance. past where the frost giants live, there was a darkness.
"What about that shadowy place?" He asked. Odin's face suddenly became stern. "That is beyond our lands. You must never go there."
"But I thought a king could do whatever he wants."
Odins face relaxed as he chucked softly. "Thor, there's more to being king than just getting your way all the time."
"Theres more?"
"Everything you see exists in a delicate balance. As king, it will be your job to understand the balance. And respect all the creatures. From the Frost Giants to the Trolls."
"But, Father, don't we hate the Trolls?"
"Yes, but we must still maintain the peace."
As they were talking, Heimdall rushed up. "You majesty, the Trolls have entered the kingdom."
"Heimdall, take Thor home."
"Aww, Father! Can't I come?"
"No, son." With that Odin left.
"I never get to do anything." Thor muttered angerly.
"Don't woory, young prince. One day you will be king. And you'll get to chase those slobbering, stupid, and ugly trolls from dawn until dusk." Heimdall said, patting Thor's shoulder.
