First meetings!
It had all started when Honey Lemon, bless her heart, thought that it would be a good idea to take her friends to Mexico with her to meet her family
They had made it to the airport surprisingly unscathed but the same could not be said for both the ride there and once they had actually landed there
After around a 4 hour and 25 minute flight full of babies screaming, lack of sleep and people talking as loud as they possibly can on the phone (it made it worse that the woman had it on speaker) they were pretty much exhausted, expecially Gogo and Hiro, who had to help each other finish a project together for and exam the night before and ended up getting absolutely no sleep in the end, let's just say that they had stayed up so late that if they had went to sleep there would have been no hope for them getting up early enough to leave on time
And Gogo being absolutely worn out did not help her when it came to Fred constantly finding someway to annoy the poor woman in the end it took both Hero and Wasabi to hold her back from ripping the other limb from limb all the while Honey Lemon was searching up places for them to stay
"Listen here you 동물 (animal) I am not in the mood to deal with any of your bull crap." She warned "Just because you got a good night sleep doesn't mean we all did."
"Help she's so mad she's starting to speak in tounge!" Fred yelped as he jumped back from the woman who lunged towards him with a murderous rage in her deep brown eyes
"Gogo as much as I would enjoy watching you beat Fred up, you should calm down a bit." Hiro said as he struggled to help the other man hold the woman back
She let out an animalistic growl as she muttered something in Korean before sossing herself down into the chair "How can I when he doesn't know when to shut up about his stupid ideas." She scowled glaring daggers into the brunette who only grinned
Before Fred could annoy Gogo anymore than he already had Wasabi had grabbed his arm and literally dragged him to the other side if Honey Lemon and sat down
"Aaaand done!" She smiled happily "We'll be staying at a hotel a few hours from here." She explained as she slipped her phone into her pocket "It also just so happens to be a few minutes from my family's home." She added
All it took was a couple more hours of waiting before Gogo got sick of it, she huffed out a sigh before stnding up from where she was sat, she stretched her arms above her head as she looked at the group who remained seated yet looked at her in confusion as to why she was stood up
"I know you're tired but I promised my family I would meet them here." The blonde said apologetically with her brows frowned
Hiro took one of his ear buds out and looked at the dark haired woman with a hum "We could go for a bit of a walk." He suggested "My legs are starting to get pretty restless and I think I could do with one myself." He added as he stood up from his seat taking his other ear bud out and turning off his music
She gave him a light smile and nodded her head "Yeah I think I'd like that." She said "Right text or call when your family gets here Akio." She said as she turned on her heel and began to walk off with a back handed wave followed by the youngest Hamada brother "またね" He called out as he followed Gogo
"She's infected Hiro too!" Fred joked earning himself a gentle slap on the back of the head by Wasabi who rolled his eyes at the others antics
A few moments later Honey Lemon let out a loud excited screech as she shot up and out of her seat and ran out and into the crowd
Wasabi and Fred watched her in shock at the sudden out burst of what looked like happiness, though it look damn well close to an out burst of insanity
"What the hell was that!" Fred exclaimed in a mixture of confusion and what sounded like concern "Wasabi they've all lost the plot." He stated
A loud squeeze rang though their ears as they were trying to navigate their way through the crowd of people
"Dios mío!" His grandmother exclaimed "She's almost as bad as her mother." She claimed covering her ears with her hands
"She does seem to have a good set of pipes on her huh?" Abel jokingly questioned with a smirk as they saw the woman jumping up and down on her tip toes and waving her hand in the air to get their attention
As soon as they had managed to get to the green eyed blonde Miguel along with Rosa and Abel were all engulfed by the woman's bone crushing hug
"It's been so long you three have gotten so big!" She said smiling happily
Once they were out of the woman's tight grip Miguel noticed that there seemed to be two people missing "Um Akio I thought you said that there were going to be four people with you." His mother pointed out raising an eyebrow as the rest of the family nodded in confusion
"Well they decided to walk around a bit." She explained "They didn't exactly get a lot of sleep last night and Leiko was getting annoyed at a certain someone." She said glaring at Fred before continuing "So Hiro decided to go on a walk with her to calm her down."
"A very mature thing to do." Eleda smiled with a nod of her head
"Oh!" Akio exclaimed "I almost forgot to mention Hiro is actually around your age Miguel." She said
"Really?" He asked a smile forming on his lips at least there would be someone here he could try to get along with that was actually his own age
"Yep." She nodded "He's 2 years older than you actually but I think you can get along very well." She sook her head swiftly "Right you're gonna need to know who's who." She said switching the topic "These two are Fredrick and Wanjohi." She Introduced gesturing to each one as she said their names "And obviously the other two are Leiko and Hiro." She added
"Speak of the devil's." Wanjohi joked causing the family to look behind them to see two people
A rather short, fair-skinned young woman with brown eyes, scruffy black bob-cut hair with violet streaks on her bangs, and makeup which consists of lavender eyeshadow, light blush, and subtle dust-pink lipstick "Oh haha very funny." She said sarcastically with a roll of her eyes at the man's statement
Beside her stood young teenager of approximately five feet tall with a lean and slender frame. He has tousled, jet-black hair, almond-shaped brown eyes, somewhat thick eyelashes and eyebrows, light skin, and a slight gap in his front teeth
First look at the duo and you would have thought they were siblings
Miguel's eyes widened slightly and a light blush dusted his cheeks as he laid eyes on the other teen
"There you two are!" Akio exclaimed with a clap of her hands
"There you go." The boy, Hiro said handing a white paper bag over to Wanjohi
"Thanks." He smiled at the other
"This is Leiko." She Introduced
"Hey." The dark haired woman said with a pop of her chewing gum
"And this is Hiro." She said running over to the boy and grabbing him by the shoulders "This is the one I was telling you about." She continued "Hiro this is Miguel."
"Um hi!" He said with an awkward looking smile as he gave him a small wave, his brows frowning slightly, he couldn't really tell but there seemed to be a bit of red beginning to form on his cheeks
One thought came to his mind 'cute' he gave him an awkward looking smile of his own "Hi." He greeted "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you to."
"I don't mean to be rude but I think we should get going." Fredrick said with a nervous look on his face
"What?" Akio asked "Why?" She looked at the light brown haired man in confusion
"Coz Leiko looks like she is gonna murder me in my sleep if she doesn't get any soon." He replied with frowned brows
"He has a point." Wanjohi said with a nod of agreement
Akio nodded her head before turning to look at her family "Sorry to cut the reunion short but it's not like this'll be the last or only time we'll see each other." She offered them an apologetic smile
"Akio can I talk to you for a moment?" Her abuela asked earning herself a nod from the blonde in reply
"I'll be back in a sec." She said turning back to her friends earning herself a nod before following her grandmother from round the corner
"You know that el Dia de los Muertos (the day of the dead) is coming up and myself and everyone else are wondering if you and your friends would care to join us." Her abuela offered
"Are you sure?" Akio asked looking unsure frowning her brows
"Si, si of course!" The older woman stated "We wouldn't ask if I didn't mean it." Before she continued "Now off with you." She shooed her granddaughter off back to her group of friends
"Gracias abuela (thanks grandma)." She smiled and with that both her and her group of friends were off
Miguel heard giggling from behind him
"It would seem our little cousin has a little crush." Rosa teased earning herself a glare from the other
"Cierra la boca (Shut up)." Miguel stated glaring at his older cousins

Sorry this took so long to come out the writing app I used literally wiped out all of my progress with the update and so I've had to restart so I decided that I would post this one as soon as I got it done and I am starting the second part tomorrow hope it was worth the wait :)
