36: The Set-Up Until
REVIEW'S RESPONSE:
Guest: Thank you
geust: 1. Here's what I've done. 2. Might think about it. Robin? As in Robin Hood? And Isabella? 3. Not going to happen. 4. Again, here's what I've done
agentinfinity: 1) I get what you're saying, but I had an on where it was suppose to lead, and in the comics he has killed once and that was an accident. 2) Madame Web in this story is a Rastafarian, and so I have to be authentic to it and how she speaks, but I'll see what I can do
latinoheat151: Thank you for saying that. I had a clear idea on how the interaction with Gwen and Nick will be
cabrera1234: Relationships are complicated. You never know what to expect. Also about the M-Rated spin-off. I am so behind on that. I was focusing on other stories to finish that I didn't have time. I will try to find time on it
Joe: In a way… Yeah. As for George, well I wanted to try giving the character a push in the story since he hasn't done much in the comics, which few of them always involve his death. I'm trying to get the chapters up on time, but it's been difficult for me at this point and I have to focus on other things. Anyway, here's the prom
Deadpoolsson: Good eye, and yes it is the Sanctum Sanctorum, and yeah there is something more to this, which might appear in the next volume. I've wanted to put in the Defenders in since the list of characters I've got, and I know how I wanted it to go since George Stacy is now part of it

Somewhere in Coney Island
Nick Lewis Jr: Say smile
Gwen Stacy: Smile
Nick and Gwen are seen together at the Coney Island fair on a date together, which appears to be nearing the end of their day, while they look at the photo from Nick's phone
Gwen Stacy: Wow. That turned out great
Nick Lewis Jr: Your smile makes it better
The two smiled at each other and they kissed, as the fair is about to close up
Few minutes later
Driving in his car, Nick and Gwen head to his Beach House, but then her phone vibrate as she looked to see Harry's message
Nick Lewis Jr: Harry again?
Gwen Stacy: Yeah. It's says he wanted to see me
Nick Lewis Jr: So what did you say?
Gwen Stacy: What do you think? I told him I need time still
Nick Lewis Jr: You know this won't stop unless you do something
Gwen Stacy: I know
Nick Lewis Jr:… You're going to be okay?
Gwen Stacy: Yeah… Yeah I am. Honestly I'm kind of glad. He was never a good boyfriend to begin with
Nick Lewis Jr: It's for the best though
Gwen Stacy: I know
Nick Lewis Jr's Beach House
Nick parked his car at the front of his runway, with him and Gwen getting out
Nick Lewis Jr: So you want anything before you head of home?
Gwen Stacy: Well I would still like that… Who's that?
Nick Lewis Jr: Who?
Danielle Dorothy: Nick?
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Recognizing her voice, Nick turned around and was stunned to see a girl once from his past. His ex-girlfriend, Danielle Dorothy
Nick Lewis Jr: D-Danielle!?
Danielle Dorothy: Hello, Nick. I-
Gwen Stacy:…
Danielle Dorothy: Who's this?
Gwen Stacy: Who's she?
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Present Day
Lewis Penthouse
Nick Lewis Jr is seen holding a glass of scotch while drinking as he checks his phone and looks at the photo of him with Gwen from Coney Island. Showing the two once happy couple smiling, while he wonders how things have changed. Suddenly, the Hobgoblin and his team return with news
Nick Lewis Jr: Kingsley
Hobgblin: Excellent news. The Dragon Tails are finished, and we have Mister X to thank for that
Mister X: Just another job for me to fulfill
Bullseye: Hey, I did my job too
Diamondback: Just barely
Bullseye: Shut up
Nick Lewis Jr: Where's Typhoid Mary?
Hobgblin:… We… ran into a slight situation
Nick Lewis Jr: What happened?
Diamondback: While the lair they were in was on fire and we did succeed in our job, but we ran into the Ronin and his crew
Bullseye: And it appears there are now more
Mister X: And one of them might have killed Mary in the process
Nick Lewis Jr: What!? How could this happen!?
Hobgblin: This is just a minor setback. We can still win this
Nick Lewis Jr: There are five of us now, and there is still the matter with the Manfredi and Doctor Octopus! How the hell would we even win this now!?
Hobgblin: Diamondback has that covered
Diamondback: I know my way around things, and you won't even have to spend anything dime
Mister X: I can see how, and with a uniform no less
Diamondback: Don't flatter yourself, X
Bullseye: Well we should have gotten Menace involved. She would have handle this easy
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Hobgblin: Menace… is not important right now. What matters is that we think our next move carefully. That means we would have to lay low for a while
Nick Lewis Jr: But what about our plan?
Hobgblin: I will manage this, Jr. Trust me
Nick Lewis Jr:… Fine
Hobgblin: The rest of you dismiss
The gang then left the room, except for Mister X who approached the two about something
Hobgblin: What is it, X?
Mister X: Sorry, boss, but I think I need to speak about what has happened today
Nick Lewis Jr: What do you mean?
Mister X: An unexpected someone just appeared and saw us. A male with curley hair and he appears to be alone, but I think he will cause some level of trouble for us in the future if we don't deal with him
Hobgblin: Oh. And who is he?
Mister X: I manage to read his mind briefly before we depart. Some one name… Foswell
Nick suddenly shook after hearing that name. A name he is all to familiar with
Nick Lewis Jr:… Foswell? You mean Frederick Foswell is there?
Mister X: You know him
Hobgblin: I don't believe it
Nick Lewis Jr:… Heh… Heheh… Hehehehehe. I don't believe it
Hobgblin: What do we do?
Nick Lewis Jr:… Let's wait for a little while, and we pay a visit to Mr. Foswell. Maybe bring his daughter along
Hobgblin:… Consider it done
Mister X: There's also more. It involves the Ronin
Hobgblin:… What did you found out?
Mister X: It turns out our mysterious ninja is a teenager
Nick Lewis Jr: What?
Hobgblin: Are you serious!?
Mister X: I read a portion of his mind before I was cut off. I don't know the name, but what I do know is that he studies in a place called Midtown Magnet High School
Nick Lewis Jr: Wait… Midtown Magnet High?
Mister X: Yes, sir
Nick Lewis Jr:… Midtown High
Somewhere in New York
Sitting on a bench at a park somewhere, Mary Jane is seen sitting and appearing quite shocked and upset after hearing that her own sister was forced to have an abortion by her boyfriend. Feeling the stress building from all the family drama in her life, despite being one of the reasons why she moved to New York. But now it felt like her drama is following her wherever she goes, and she seemingly can't get away from it after what happen to her since Mark Allen's transformation. She then took out her phone and brought up Peter's number, but suddenly she hesitated to call him. Despite him being only her friend, Mary Jane was left feeling confused as to what she was really feeling about him
Mary Jane Watson:… Why… Why does this always happen to me… And Peter… Peter…
Somewhere in New York (Different Part)
On New York traffic in one of the cars, Wilson Allan is seen driving with his son and daughter, Mark and Liz Allan
Wilson Allan: Traffic's going to be a while if you don't mind
Mark Allan: It'll be okay, dad. Really
Wilson Allan: Nonsense. I thought it would be nice that we go spends some time as a family
Liz Allan: It'll be fun, Mark. And you're getting better
Mark Allan: I still have my powers while this collar is shutting it off, and Doctor Connors said his friend in Florida will be sending the cure soon
Wilson Allan: We know that, but right now we celebrate now that you're free
Mark Allan: Come on you guys
Liz Allan: Why, what's wrong?
Mark Allan: Nothing. It's just… MJ?
Suddenly, Mark spots Mary Jane on the street walking, while Liz was confused
Liz Allan: MJ?
Mark Allan: Dad, stop the car
Wilson Allan: What?
Mark Allan: Just stop the car, dad. Please
Wilson stops the car as Mark got out onto the street as he yelled her name out loud
Mark Allan: MARY JANE!
Mary Jane Watson:…
Recognizing his voice, Mary Jane turned and was surprised to see Mark Allan standing on the street
Mary Jane Watson: M-Mark?
Mark Allan: Mary Jane
Mary Jane Watson: MARK!
Mary Jane and Mark run at and held each other's arms, as the two appeared happy to see each other
Mary Jane Watson: Mark. Oh Mark
Mark Allan: Mary Jane, I missed you
Mary Jane Watson: I missed you too. I missed you… so much
While they embrace, Liz saw what happened and appeared not pleased about it. Still believing Mary Jane to be not trust worthy
Kallenback House: Living Room
Returning home with her bag, Missy then sees her mother, Diane, on the living room floor while holding an empty bottle
Missy Kallenback: Mom!? Mom!
Missy approach to help her mother from the floor, as she slowly gets up
Missy Kallenback: Mom. Mom!
Diane Kallenback: Mmm… Uh…
Missy Kallenback: Mom, you need to stop drinking. It's bad for your help
Diane Kallenback:… Uh…
Missy Kallenback: Come on. I'll get you a glass of water
Diane Kallenback: Let… go of me
Missy Kallenback: Mom?
Diane Kallenback: I SAID LET GO OF ME YOU STUPID BITCH!
In an act of fury, Diane pushed Missy away as she screams at her in anger
Missy Kallenback: M-Mom?
Diane Kallenback: YOU STUPID WRETCHED BITCH! HOW COULD YOU!
Missy Kallenback: M-M-Mom-
Diane Kallenback: HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO YOUR OWN BROTHER!
Missy Kallenback: M-Mom
Diane Kallenback: IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU INSTEAD OF HIM!
Missy Kallenback:…
Diane Kallenback: Get out… GET OUT NOW!
Missy Kallenback: But Mom-
Diane Kallenback: I SAID GET OUT!
( SMASH )
Missy Kallenback: Ah!
Diane suddenly threw the empty bottle, which nearly hit Missy as it smashes at the wall. The angry mother looked at her daughter will drunken rage, which Missy has become upset as she went to her room with her bag, while Diane was in tears as she sat on the floor covering her face while remembering her young son, Charles
Moon Knight's Lair (Somewhere Underneath New York)
After the fight, the rest of the Defenders plus Ronin and Black Cat are seen recovering from their fight, while they watch the news involving the death of the entire Dragon Tails with their lair burnt down
George Stacy: Unbelievable. How horrible is this when so many dead are young?
Wraith: I know, but at least you save one
Frank Castle: Don't know why you bother. You risking your life for someone whose life will screw up either way
George Stacy: My job is to save lives, not to take them, and that kid s going to get his life straight. He just needs some help and probably community service to get himself a god damn reference
Frank Castle: Even if he goes straight there will be something that will put him back down
Wraith: Regardless, we're hoping that it won't come to that
Frank Castle: I heard that before
Marc Spector: Let it be, people. We still have a job to do
Frank Castle: So what are we going to do with them?
Frank mentions the group about Ronin, Venom, and Black Cat, who are seen sitting by themselves and not speak to each other
Wraith: George?
George Stacy: I'll handle it
George approach and tries to speak with them
George Stacy: Doing alright you three
Black Cat: I was hoping your pals over there would have a much nicer hiding spot, but at least this will do
Ronin: We're doing alright, Captain Stacy
George Stacy: Call me George, Peter. You don't have to worry about your identity
Ronin: H-How did you-
George Stacy: You have your fake black spider-man over there to thank for that
Venom: Oh really?
George Stacy: Over a year ago you tried exposed him as Spider-Man
Ronin:…
Black Cat:…
Venom: Almost did
George Stacy: And now here you are trying to rid of crime
Venom: At least I'm doing something Parker didn't have the guts to do! Hell, I can even be better then him!
Ronin: You mean killing?
Venom: It's easier that way
George Stacy: That's not your call to make.
Venom: And yet you're teaming up with others like us. Hell, you have one that actually wouldn't mind killing
George Stacy:…
Venom: Forget this
George Stacy: Where are you going?
Venom: I'm leaving
Frank then pulled a gun and pointed at Venom's head
Black Cat: Whoa!
George Stacy: Frank, wait
Frank Castle: Like I'm going to allow someone to compromised our location
Venom: Don't worry. I'm not going to spill out your little club house since there is only three heads left
Black Cat: Who are the three heads?
Marc Spector: He means Doctor Octopus, The Hobgoblin, and the Manfredi
Ronin: The Manfredi is off limits, Venom
Venom: Why, because you work for them!
George Stacy: What?
Ronin: I'll explain later, but I'm serious on this one. You leave the Manfredi family be. I will be handling it myself
Venom: Highly doubt you will pull it off
George Stacy: If he can handle the Manfredi then let him. Or would you have the entire NYPD come after you
Venom:… You're lucky, Parker. But next time won't be so lucky
Ronin:… I know
Venom: So until then. Don't die, or else I will kill you
Venom left the lair, with Ronin left wondering as George turns to him
George Stacy:… So… What's you're history with that guy?
Black Cat: Yeah. What's with that guy?
Ronin:… He's a guy I'm trying to redeem. A guy I've failed to save before
George Stacy: Now he dresses up like you. Only with black
Ronin:…
George Stacy: You can take of your mask, Peter. We're all friends here
While hesitant, Ronin unmasked himself to him
Peter Parker:… How long have you known?
George Stacy: For a long time since I've known you being good friends with my daughter
Peter Parker: You kept my identity this whole time?
George Stacy: After knowing your reason for why you're doing it. I'm not stopping you
Marc Spector: George, you're needed here
Peter Parker:… So how did you pair yourself with them?
George Stacy: Well recently I've found out that there's a mole inside NYPD
Peter Parker: What?
George Stacy: Yes. Someone inside the force giving away tips to local crime lords, and worse my family are being targeted?
Peter Parker: Why?
George Stacy: Because of my ties with you. Because I'm associated with Spider-Man, and whoever this person is they know
Peter Parker: That mean Gwen is-
George Stacy: That's right
Peter Parker:…
Black Cat: You guys have any lead?
George Stacy: We're working on it, but right now I think you two should just go on home
Peter Parker: You sure?
George Stacy: I'll call you in case something came up. Better if you rest up
Black Cat: What about me?
George Stacy: I don't know much about you, but if Parker can vouch for you then we can use your help
Black Cat:…
Peter Parker:… She's helped me so far. There wouldn't be any reason why I shouldn't ask for it
George Stacy: Alright. Just lay low for a while. And Peter… Thanks for saving my life today
Peter Parker: Don't worry about it. And besides, I don't want Gwen to loose a dad like that
George Stacy: Again, thanks
While left wondering, Peter puts on his mask as he and Black Cat left the lair, as George joins up with the other Defenders. Looking at all the NYPD data
George Stacy: So what did you found?
Marc Spector: Looking through the data only a couple of names might fit
Wraith: How many?
Marc Spector: Only 17, but I'm going to need some time to cross-reference the data ands split them up into groups of who is more likely to be a mole
George Stacy: That'll be a while
Frank Castle: That will take long. We should have just interrogate a lot of them
Wraith: If we do that then the mole will take wind of this and warn whoever he or she is working with
George Stacy: Plus we don't want to create an environment of distrust at the moment now
Frank Castle: And wouldn't there be a chance that there is a group of dirty cops that have ties with them already
George Stacy: Do you really believe that almost ever officer in the force have mob ties?
Frank Castle: Wouldn't be the first time
George Stacy: And how does that work for you?
Frank Castle: My entire family was gunned down by mob thugs after receiving a tip-off from a couple of dirty cops I use to work with. I know how this goes
George Stacy: Well we're not going to interrogate them all or kill them for that matter
Wraith: Agreed. We don't know how long this gang war would even last, but we don't want the people to think the cops couldn't protect them because someone in the force has gang ties
George Stacy: Exactly
Frank Castle: Hmph
George Stacy: How come you don't you unmask?
Wraith:… I… would rather have my privacy
George Stacy: Why?
Wraith:… Personal reasons
George Stacy:…
Somewhere Outside Moon Knight's Lair
In an abandoned train station outside Moon Knight's lair, Black Cat stood silent knowing Ronin's identity
Ronin:…
Black Cat:…
Ronin:… So you knew
Black Cat: I did say that it took me a long time to realize that now, and I was still serious about that cronut
Ronin:… How long have you known?
Black Cat: Just today to be honest
Ronin: You're kidding me
Black Cat: And some of your moves you performed also reminded me of him. Of Spider-Man… I didn't think… I didn't believe you're him
Ronin: I see…
Black Cat:…
Ronin: Felicia… I-
Black Cat: I said to you that I don't want any bad blood between us. Wouldn't they be?
Ronin: Would it be any easier?
Black Cat: Would you even trust me?
Ronin:…
Black Cat: That's the thing I've been afraid of, Peter. The fact that I would loose the one thing I've grown attached to… And I don't want to lose that
Ronin:… What about your dad?
Black Cat:… You see, Peter… I-
( Brrrr )
Suddenly, Ronin's phone rang and sees that it was Sable's assistant sending him a message to return to the office for another training session
Ronin: Damn
Black Cat: Is that your group?
Ronin: Yeah
Black Cat:…
Ronin: Felicia… I-
Black Cat: We'll talk later… So you better stay in one piece until next time
Ronin:… Cat-
Black Cat: Don't worry. Your secret is safe. Whatever you're planning better be something… Because I can't imagine you actually being killed for real
Ronin:…
Black Cat: See you soon… Web-Swinger
Black Cat takes out from her pocket and fired her grappling claw and jumps towards the roof, while left feeling stunned by what she has found out, while Ronin is left even more wondering what will now happen
Somewhere in Manhattan
A couple of blocks away from where the burned down Dragon Tail's Lair is, a barely burnt and injured but barely alive Typhoid Mary is seen holding her phone while she sits on the alleyway awaiting arrival
Typhoid Mary: *pant* *pant* *pant* Damn… Did not *pant* think that *pant* I would go down *pant* like this
Just now, a van appeared with men in red suits as Parker Robbins approached Typhoid Mary, who she then turns to him
Typhoid Mary: R-Robbins
Parker Robbins: Mary. This is a surprise. I never thought you would be the one that would ask for help
Typhoid Mary: It's either you *pant* or Jenkins, and I *pant* don't want *pant* to risk his cover *pant* or else his ass would be shot
Parker Robbins: Funny you should mention that, because you just gave away the only chance to bring Kingsley and his group down
Typhoid Mary: Can't *pant* risk it. *pant* X's telepathy *pant* will expose everything
Parker Robbins: And I hope you have a better idea because my employer wonders how you will make up for this
Typhoid Mary: The plan *pant* has changed, but *pant* it can still work
Parker Robbins: How?
Typhoid Mary: *pant* *pant* The girl… I can *pant* still use *pant* the girl
Bishop Manor
Returning home from her photo-shoot, Kate Bishop is seen holding her bag containing her dress for the prom tomorrow, and sees her mother and sisters with the Melissa Cunningham in the living quarters as they look at Susan's wedding dress
Eleanor Bishop: Oh sweetheart. It's beautiful
Melissa Cunningham : Susan, you picked a fine dress to wear
Susan Bishop: I'm glad you like it. I had to fight off 3 others for it
Melissa Cunningham : So worth it
Heather Bishop: Hey, Katie's back
Kate Bishop: Hey you guys
Susan Bishop: Hey sis. Like my wedding dress?
Kate Bishop: It looks beautiful
Susan Bishop: Damn right it does. I'm going to show off all the singles there
Eleanor Bishop: So you're back from your photo shoot?
Kate Bishop: I have. Where's dad and the others?
Melissa Cunningham : Your father is out for some meeting, while Bryce and alton are out for some father and son bonding
Heather Bishop: What's in the bag?
Susan Bishop: Yeah, what's in there?
Kate Bishop: It's… my prom dress. I had it loaned from the studio
Eleanor Bishop: Oh show us then
Melissa Cunningham : Yes. Show us darling
While she hesitate, Kate shows them her dress she'll be wearing for the prom tomorrow
Susan Bishop: Oh wow
Eleanor Bishop: Katherine, that dress is beautiful
Melissa Cunningham : It suits you, darling
Heather Bishop: Like a real princess
Kate Bishop: Thanks for saying that
Melissa Cunningham : Tomorrow's prom night. Are you excited?
Kate Bishop: I am
Eleanor Bishop: Well I hope your date treats you well tomorrow
Susan Bishop: Oh yeah. Who's picking you up anyway?
Kate Bishop:… Umm
Susan Bishop: Someone did ask you out, right?
Kate Bishop: Of course they did… I said no
Melissa Cunningham : What?
Susan Bishop: Wait, what do you mean no?
Kate Bishop: Exactly what it means
Eleanor Bishop: You don't have a date for tomorrow?
Melissa Cunningham : Well that is unacceptable
Kate Bishop: It's okay. I don't need a date for the prom to have a good time
Heather Bishop: Are you playing hard to get?
Kate Bishop: No. I'm just not interested
Eleanor Bishop: Are there not anyone of your liking?
Susan Bishop: Typical of you, sis. That will not look good on your rep
Kate Bishop: I don't care. As you all know who will be prom queen tomorrow
Susan Bishop:… Oh yeah, that's true. She'll probably get the crown anyway. Katherine would probably get dibs on whoever's prom king
Eleanor Bishop: But still
Kate Bishop: I'll be fine, mom. Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to my room
Kate heads to her room with her dress, while the ladies are left thinking what has happened to her
Susan Bishop:… She's changed, and I don't even know if it's a good thing
Heather Bishop: She's less mean then before
Melissa Cunningham : I'm actually surprised by her change in behaviour. The Katherine Bishop knew would demand a man of her stature, but now… What has happen to her?
Eleanor Bishop: I do not know, but I'm not even sure if I would be worried for her
Bishop Manor: Kate's Room
Kate enters her room and placed her bag near her closet. Resting on her bed, Kate thinks about the prom for tomorrow, and who she would take. Looking at her phone, Kate finds Peter's number and was about to call her, but hesitated as she feels conflicted by what to do
Kate Bishop:… Damn… Would have been easier for me before, but now… And Peter. Would he… be interested?
Sable's Skycadia Penthouse: Hallway
Peter arrives from the elevator and sees Meiko standing
Peter Parker: Meiko
Meiko Yin: Peter, your training with me will begin in a moment, but the mistress will be expecting you in her office
Peter Parker: Alright
Sable's Skycadia Penthouse: Sable's Office
Peter enters and waited in the office for Sable. While he stood, Peter spots a picture frame on her table, which he felt curious as he looked and see a photo of Sable as a young child with her father and surprisingly what appears to be her mother. Peter looked at the picture with interest, and was quite surprise to see Sable smiling at a young age being wrapped around by her mother while wrapped around by Sable's father while taking the photo. Suddenly Sable appeared behind Peter
Sable Manfredi: She's beautiful, isn't she?
Peter Parker: Wha!?
Peter turned and was surprised to see Sable, as she sees him holding the photo
Peter Parker: M-Mistress Sable!
Sable Manfredi: You didn't hear me come in?
Peter Parker: Uh…
Sable Manfredi: Heh. You need to work on that
Peter Parker: Y-Yeah sure. Sorry
Sable Manfredi:…
Peter Parker: I-Is this your mom?
Sable Manfredi: She is
Peter Parker: Wow. She's pretty.
Sable Manfredi: Thank you for saying that
Peter Parker: This was taken at the beach?
Sable Manfredi: That's right. My father took us there while he was free from work. We played in the sea and build a sandcastle together
Peter Parker: I know the feeling. My parents-
Sable Manfredi:… What is it?
Peter Parker:… It's… It's nothing… Really
Sable Manfredi:…
Peter Parker: You… called me for something?
Sable Manfredi: I do. Here
Sable then handed Peter a box, as he opens it to find a new smart-phone. Appearing quite advanced for its model
Peter Parker: Whoa
Sable Manfredi: Glad you think so. It's the new Xing Universe Z5.
Peter Parker: Xing?
Sable Manfredi: It's this Chinese company Wukong has invested in for telecommunications. The company just recently started joining the mobile phone market. My company's now distributing them across the country, and what you are now holding is one of the few early models that have been made before release
Peter Parker: Really?
Sable Manfredi: Consider it a gift. I figured you earned it all because of your hard work. Plus you've left an impression with the men here
Peter Parker:… Thank you
Sable Manfredi:… You left an impression with my father the other day. He didn't think you would last here. Let alone handle a task on your own
Peter Parker: Well I try hard
Sable Manfredi: Well if it were up to him he would pick up his gun and shoot you because of your association with Spider-Man
Peter Parker:… So… You said recently this Xing Company is now in the mobile business?
Sable Manfredi: You ask Wukong yourself. He probably must have purchased or stole he design from some rival company here
Peter Parker:… Wait, what?
Sable Manfredi: Anyway, you have a GoldByte account?
Peter Parker: Yeah?
Sable Manfredi: Well good, because that's how you'll get paid now
Peter Parker: What?
Sable Manfredi: We're now starting a new crypto-currency market here in the states. Wukong has already owned a banking firm that now uses GoldByte as a means of transaction, and now he wants it expanded here. Be sure you'll open a new bank account there
Peter Parker:… Your dad said to me about an event tomorrow for a task force?
Sable Manfredi: That's correct. The Silver Watch will help curb city crime in a way the NYPD couldn't
Peter Parker: While gangs try to survive?
Sable Manfredi: My father gave you his description of crime and law?
Peter Parker: In a way
Sable Manfredi: Well he does have a way with words
Peter Parker: But I still don't get why you're funding your own task force to stop crime while at the same time doing crime?
Sable Manfredi: Because when it comes to vulnerability weakness can also create opportunities. Screw the pest in both sides and if you're lucky and you manage to rip them off you can come out with a much deserve earnings. You know what's that called?
Peter Parker: No
Sable Manfredi: It's called capitalism. You get the things you want with what you paid for, and if you give them what they want even further they can pay extra a mile away.
Peter Parker: I see, and where would you even learn that?
Sable Manfredi: From my father. You can ask him yourself
Peter Parker:…
Sable Manfredi: Anyway, the event is starting at six. So I expect you to be ready and come here after your school finish. Inform your folks about it if you wish, and if you want you can invite them over
Peter Parker:… No, it'll be alright. Besides, they'll be doing stuff
Sable Manfredi: Oh good. So after school you get your suit from the tailor and come here. You need to dress up to appear more professional. Understood?
Peter Parker:… Yes, ma'am
Parker House: Hallway
Aunt May appeared and stood in front of Nico's room, who returned home from CosFriendPlay, as she knocked the door
( knock ) ( knock ) ( knock )
May Parker: Nico, dear. I'm about to make some desert. You want any?
Nico Minoru (behind door): Sounds good. I'll be right down
Parker House: Nico's Room
Inside her room, Nico is seen drawing on paper the designs for her new costume. Putting up the finishing touches for her costume, which appears more like a gothic shrine maiden with an oni mask
Nico Minoru: Perfect
Sanctum Sanctorum: Living Room
Inside the mansion of the previous Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange, Sun Wukong is seen sitting on a couch as he drinks tea made by Wong
Sun Wukong: Ah. Good green tea
Wong: Master Stephen and his wife, Clea, liked my tea. Helps them keep their minds stable and fresh while they prepare for their journey and study and train new kind of magic
Sun Wukong: I notice. I remember this place having some noise
Wong: And me bringing their tea was the thing I didn't mind doing
Sun Wukong: Well who wouldn't want to see that bright smile on your face while you give us the munches and our beverages
Wong: That's part of my job I took joy in doing
Sun Wukong: You serving up the goodies while we lay lazy or studying until our heads explode, or come back from a realm infested with demons
Wong: Master would appreciate your company as always. The young master however would find annoyance in you
Sun Wukong: Well it would still be nice if that dip-shit a-hole is still here
Wong:…
Sun Wukong: Still no word from Step Jr?
Wong: Young Master Stephen Jr has not been heard of still. Not after what happened with his companions
Sun Wukong: So he's still missing then
Wong: Yes
Sun Wukong: Heh… I remember him being a TV psychic douche, but at least he knows how to score women more then me
Wong: I can imagine. You've been his rival, but also a good friend
Sun Wukong:… I once fought him over a girl. Didn't picked either of us, and after that Jr and I got us some drink and we laughed our asses off
Wong: I remember that… That was before her father died
Sun Wukong:…
Wong: She wasn't the same after Master Stephen passed, and Mistress Clea was left to raise their son
Sun Wukong: You were there with her
Wong: I tried my best, but despite all that she still struggled with her newfound duties. Raising her son while she tries to fill her late husband's role. That was when the young master starts taking up the art of sorcery in attempts to lessen her mother's burden
Sun Wukong: But he was not Sorcerer Supreme is it?
Wong:… How is life for you being the Kingpin of Hong Kong?
Sun Wukong: If you're worried that I've been doing something unpleasing then you worry too much. I've turn my empire into something more profitable and eligible. Got more people out of the streets, and a lot of properties I've invested in
Wong: I wish you would find a more noble profession in your line of work rather then be a crime lord
Sun Wukong: There is nothing that is left to build in the beginning. Sometimes you would have take something you weren't expecting and put it to good use for the right reason, or none and it will be meaningless
Wong:…
Sun Wukong: You know why I'm here, Wong
Wong: The item that was stolen from you is brought here and was used in the incident at the Vandemere incident confirms it. It is as you've feared, Wukong. The Lemurian Tablet is here, and whoever studied it have manage to succeed in creating the poison
Wukong appeared unhappy that the poison from the Lemurian Tablet has been made
Sun Wukong:… So someone has succeeded in creating the "Devil's Breath". Why am I not surprised
Wong: I am however curious as to why it has not been used much
Sun Wukong: We're missing something here, and I need some looking into
Wong: Well I'm sure you can figure it out. You've always were
Sun Wukong: Hah. And I wish you would be out there with me if you weren't so frail
Wong: I am an old man now, Sun. I can do many things, but age has now taken a toll on me
Sun Wukong: Well I guess it's up to me… As always. You received my cargo?
Wong: Follow me. It's in the study hall
Sanctum Sanctorum: Living Room
Wong took Wukong inside the study hall, as a large box is seen standing. Wukong approaches and opens it, which reveal be is Monkey King Outfit along with his golden rod. Picking it up as the rod transformed into a magic staff, which revealed ancient carvings as it glows
Sun Wukong: Alright. Time for New York to meet the most handsome hero of all
Kallenback House: Hallway
Returning home is Missy's father, Robert, who appeared unhappy as he called for Diane, who appeared to be heading out at night
Robert Kallenback: Diane!? DIANE!
Kallenback House: Missy's Bedroom
In her room, Missy is seen finishing her Omega Space Knight model she put together
Missy Kallenback: There. Finish
Suddenly, Robert barged in her room and sees his daughter with her model, while appearing quite afraid
Missy Kallenback: D-Dad?
Robert Kallenback: Where's your mother
Missy Kallenback: S-She's not here. She went o-out
Robert Kallenback:… What is that?
Missy Kallenback: It's… a model I… was making
Robert Kallenback: Why aren't you doing your homework?
Missy Kallenback: M-My homework isn't due for weeks
Robert Kallenback: And you didn't spend your time studying!?
Missy Kallenback: I-I-I-
Robert Kallenback: Answer me, dammit!
Missy Kallenback: I-I have some s-spare time
Robert Kallenback: And you wasted your time with… that!?
Missy Kallenback: But I-
Robert Kallenback: What's the use!? What's the use of this!?
Missy Kallenback: It's just
Robert Kallenback: It's a waste of time! That's what it is!
Missy Kallenback: But I-
Robert Kallenback: Enough!
Missy Kallenback: No!
In anger, Robert grabbed her Omega Space Knight model and threw it hard on her self with her other models. Seeing it break into pieces and falling on the floor as Missy watched in shock and sadness
( TWHAM )
Robert Kallenback: HOW COULD YOU HAVE WASTED YOUR OWN WITH IT! WHAT'S THE USE SPENDING EVERY MOMENT OF YOUR OWN LIFE WITH THAT CRAP!
Missy Kallenback: B-B-But. B-But
Robert Kallenback: YOU STUPID GIRL! WASTING YOUR OWN TIME WITH WASTEFUL JUNK RATHER THEN STUDYING! AND WORSE, YOU'RE WASTING MONEY ON THESE USELESS PIECE OF JUNK!
Missy Kallenback: I-I-I-
Robert Kallenback: ENOUGH!
Robert then took one of Missy's comic books and held it, as she was shocked
Robert Kallenback: AND THIS!?
Missy Kallenback: No please!
Robert Kallenback: WHY KEEP THIS!? WHAT IS THE USE!
Missy Kallenback: It's my comic book
Robert Kallenback: IT'S WASTE OF MONEY! SOMETHING TO WASTE YOUR STUDIES ON! THAT'S WHAT THIS IS!
Missy Kallenback: NO!
( TORN )
Without a thought, Robert held and tore her comic into two, as Missy was saddened and upset that one of her favorite comic was torn apart
Missy Kallenback:…
Robert Kallenback:… God back to your studies and I expect you to put every minute of your spare time not fucking it up while you stay quiet
Missy Kallenback: But d-dad
Robert Kallenback: I SAID STAY QUIET!
( SLAP )
Robert slapped her hard that it caused Missy to fell on the floor as her glasses fell off. Feeling the pain on her cheek that it showed a red mark on it, while tear is starting to shed on her eye
Missy Kallenback:…
Robert Kallenback: For that you stay alone while you make your own dinner. Use this time to think about your life rather then waste it!
( SLAM )
Robert slammed her bedroom door from behind as he is leaving the house, with Missy left alone by herself at night, while she lay on the floor to see her models that she spent her time building now destroyed and on the floor, and turned to see her favorite comic destroyed. Leaving her so stressed and upset that she started to cry as she felt completely alone in her house
Missy Kallenback:… *sob* … *sob**sob* … *sob**sob**sob* … *sob**sob**sob**sob**sob*
Next Day
?
Somewhere in a secret location lies a large glowing pool, where Typhoid Mary is resting in as her wounds have healed. With the process done, Mary got out of the pool as Parker Robbins approach and handed her a towel
Parker Robbins: Glad to see you all healed up
Typhoid Mary: I would feel better if it was sooner
Albert Jenkins: But you look so peaceful when you're resting
Albert Jenkins then appeared, while in his Beetle suit
Albert Jenkins: I figured you would lie down and stay wet
Typhoid Mary: Be silent you
Parker Robbins: Enough. We've already wasted enough time with this. Now with Mary no longer in place we need to come up with new solution
Typhoid Mary: That's already been placed in motion
Albert Jenkins: You mean the girl?
Typhoid Mary: The girl will bring Kingsley's group down if we play our cards right. Then we can focus on Doctor Octopus's Syndicate group
Albert Jenkins: And that would leave only the Manfredi left standing
Typhoid Mary: Which if opportunity comes you'll take care of it
Albert Jenkins: Well why can't you do it?
?: Are you two still at it!?
A mysterious hooded figure suddenly appeared
Hooded Figure: If we don't focus on the task at hand then we would miss our chance
Albert Jenkins: Well look who decided to show up
Hooded Figure: Really now, Jenkins, and you too, Mary
Typhoid Mary: I had no choice. The situation has gotten complicated as it is, but I can still make it successful
Hooded Figure: Then you better make sure of it. The moment will be upon us soon, and our foes need to be dealt soon
Parker Robbins: Speaking of, you sure its here?
Hooded Figure: I know it's here. It has arrived for quite some time now
Albert Jenkins: So why didn't we get it anyway?
Hooded Figure: Because she has help. If we get it now then the situation will be even more complicated as it is. We have to deal with the problem first before we proceed
Typhoid Mary: So we better get it done with no delays
Hooded Figure: And you sure this girl can be used?
Typhoid Mary: Don't worry. I'll motivate her
Somewhere in New York
In the middle of the day, Derek is seen in an alleyway with an envelope in his hand. Until a limo is seen driving through and stopped near him. Opening the window to reveal Mister Negative inside
Mister Negative: Mr. Bishop, you're here early
Derek Bishop: I have what you ask for, but it's getting difficult to avoid any suspicions
Mister Negative: Do you have it?
Derek Bishop: Here
Derek handed the envelope to him as Mister Negative opened it and looked it over
Mister Negative: So you have all the materials that I've ask of you?
Derek Bishop: I've rented a warehouse to place all of it outside the city. The key and the warehouse number that has it are inside the envelope
Mister Negative: Excellent
Derek Bishop: I have done what you ask for. Now as to what I want
Mister Negative: Very well then. Your services are no longer required
Derek Bishop: Thank you
Mister Negative: Just be careful on when you do your investments
Derek Bishop:…
Mister Negative: Until then
The limo drove off, with Mister Negative now having all he needs as he called Doctor Octopus on the phone
Mister Negative: Doctor Octopus
Doctor Octopus (on phone): My friend. I see you have news?
Mister Negative: Derek's services are no longer required. We now have everything we need. I'll have my men collect the materials once the sun goes down
Doctor Octopus (on phone): With that done we can upgrade our forces. I still require one more individual
Mister Negative: Hopefully I will find what you might need
Midtown Magnet High School : Science Class
( Brrrrrrrrriiiiinnnggg )
With class over, the students of Midtown High prepare to head home
Aaron Warren: Alright, students. Just make sure you study for chapter 12
Nico Minoru: Oh god. More studying
Peter Parker: You really have not gotten used to school, haven't you?
Nico Minoru: I've never been in school much
Peter Parker: Well don't worry. I'll help you with whatever you have a problem with
Nico Minoru: My knight in shining armor
Midtown Magnet High School: Hallway
As the two walked out of class, Peter is then called out by George Stacy
George Stacy: Peter
Peter Parker: Hmm?
George Stacy: Peter. I need to have a word with you for a second
Peter Parker: Captain Stacy?
Nico Minoru: Hey there
George Stacy: Hello there. Mind if I borrow him for a while?
Nico Minoru: Peter?
Peter Parker: It's okay. Just get on home and I'll catch up
Nico Minoru: You mean that special event that you were supposed to go without me
Peter Parker:…
Nico Minoru: Fine. I'll let Aunt May know you'll come home late, but you owe me
Peter Parker: You're the best
Nico walks off, while George was left wondering
George Stacy: Someone I should know?
Peter Parker: Her real name is Nico Minoru. The cousin part is just a cover so that she can be safe
George Stacy: She in trouble?
Peter Parker: Much worse that it would result in her death
George Stacy: I see
Peter Parker: So what you need?
George Stacy: Come with me
Hawthorne Academy : Hallway
It's after school as every student, and some teachers are excited tonight as the Academy's annual Prom will soon start. However, while everyone is excited there is still one that most people are now talking about. The fact that Kate Bishop still has not gotten a date, which many of the male students used this opportunity to ask her out
Kate Bishop: Holy crap
?: Go out with me, Katherine! I swear I'll treat you right!
?: NO! Go out with a live on like me!
?: No, Me!
?: I'll treat you like the princess you are!
Kate Bishop: I-I'm flattered, but-
Britney Amber Fox: HEY DESPERATE PERVS! BACK AWAY FROM MY GIRL!
Britney appears with Josephine and Priscilla, as they see a couple of the male students ganging up for her attention
Josephine Bricklemoore: Seriously! What the hell!
Priscilla Ironwood: Oh my
Britney Amber Fox: YOU GUYS SUNK A NEW LOW!
Kate Bishop: Alright, back! Back all of you!
Kate pushes through the group of males and joined up with her friends
Kate Bishop: Oh my god. How desperate are you people!
?: But Katherine!
Britney Amber Fox: THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE NO GIRLFRIENDS! YOU GUYS ARE BIG DICKS!
Kate's friends escort her away from them while they reassure her
Kate Bishop: Oh god that was close
Josephine Bricklemoore: I'll say
Priscilla Ironwood: Never thought how desperate they can be
Britney Amber Fox: Well screw them. They don't deserve you
Josephine Bricklemoore: Damn right
Kate Bishop: Heh. Yeah
Britney Amber Fox:… So then. Who are you bringing?
Kate Bishop:…
Britney Amber Fox: Prom's tonight. Can't show up empty handed
Priscilla Ironwood: Yeah. Who are you going with?
Kate Bishop: Well… You guys I-
Janice Foswell: Well this is unexpected
Kate and the group are now being confronted by Janice and her group
Janice Foswell: Katherine Bishop with no date? I'm shocked
Amy Powell: What's the matter? Can't find someone decent
Edna Blackquill: Or you're just fed up with every boy you see that
Kate Bishop:…
Janice Foswell: I wonder though. Does Katherine even have a date?
Priscilla Ironwood: Leave her alone, Janice
Britney Amber Fox: Yeah. Quite being a cunt
Edna Blackquill: How about I break that voice box of yours
Josephine Bricklemoore: Do that and I will break your face
Kate Bishop: Okay stop. This is not going anywhere
Janice Foswell: That's right. Listen to your princess. Be this little puppet of hers. It's not like she has a date to go with
Feeling annoyed by this that Janice to annoy her on the fact that she still hasn't got a date, Kate then starts top speak out
Kate Bishop: Now stop right there, Janice
Janice Foswell: Why, so that you'll admit the fact that you don't have a date
Kate Bishop: For your information. I do have a date
Janice Foswell: What?
Britney Amber Fox: Seriously?
Kate Bishop: Yes I do
Janice Foswell: Oh please. Like you have a date now without us knowing within this Academy
Kate Bishop: That's because he's from this Academy
Janice Foswell: What?
Amy Powell: You have a date?
Edna Blackquill: And he's not from this Academy?
Kate Bishop: Yeah, and I will him tonight. You can count on that. So just back off already
Janice and co, Kate's friends, and the others were quite surprised to hear that Kate has a date, and that he's from outside the Academy. However, Janice did not believe that Kate would bring someone who is an unknown
Janice Foswell:… I don't believe you
Kate Bishop: Well you're just going to have to wait and see. Won't we? Let's go you guys
Kate walks off with her friends away from them. Leaving Janice and the other students quite curious. Now in the clear, Kate's friends are curious, but suspected who she meant
Kate Bishop: There. That would shut her up
Priscilla Ironwood: Where you serious?
Kate Bishop: Well not exactly, but-
Josephine Bricklemoore: I know who you meant, Katie
Kate Bishop: Then you know who I'm bringing tonight
Josephine Bricklemoore: You cannot be serious about him
Kate Bishop: Why not?
Britney Amber Fox: Yeah. Why not?
Josephine Bricklemoore: Because it's a bad idea to bring someone despite their reputation. He's not some rock star
Priscilla Ironwood: Wait. Are you thinking about asking Peter Parker out?
Kate Bishop: Well why shouldn't I? He's really nice and sweet
Josephine Bricklemoore: Don't they all to begin with?
Kate Bishop: Be that as it may. My mind's made up. I'm gonna call him
Josephine Bricklemoore: But?
Britney Amber Fox: Relax, Josy. What's the harm in him coming?
Kate Bishop: Thank you. Now would you please excuse me I need to go use the girl's bathroom. You guys can go ahead without me
Josephine Bricklemoore:… Fine
Priscilla Ironwood: We'll see you tonight
Britney Amber Fox: Don't wait up for us
Kate Bishop: I won't
Kate went into the girl's bathroom, while her friends walk off. Now knowing who she will bring
Josephine Bricklemoore: This is going to end in disaster. I just know it
Britney Amber Fox: Oh come on. I'm interested to see what this guy is made off
Priscilla Ironwood: I would like to meet him also
Josephine Bricklemoore: You don't understand. This is Peter Parker we're talking about. The guy who took on who knows how many men twice his size at that Wake night club
Britney Amber Fox: And a complete hottie and a bad-ass at that
Priscilla Ironwood: But he's also a photographer for the Bugle, isn't he?
Britney Amber Fox: And a damn good one too. I say let her bring that Parker guy. Right now I'm more focused about tonight. Right Priscilla?
Priscilla Ironwood: I'm excited too
Britney Amber Fox: Then let's do this
Josephine Bricklemoore: Don't you have a rehearsal now?
Britney Amber Fox: Don't ruin the moment
Britney, Priscilla, and Josephine all went off, but unknown to them is that Brigham Fontaine
Brigham Fontaine:… Peter… Parker…? Is that the name of that guy Kate's going out with?
Hawthorne Academy : Girl's Bathroom
Kate is seen holding her phone in an attempt to try and call Peter to ask him out to the prom for tonight, but a part of her hesitates to do so
Kate Bishop: Come on, Kate. You can do this… Just… Just call him already
Missy Kallenback: *sob* *sob* *sob*
Kate Bishop: Huh?
Kate then suddenly hears a girl crying and calls out from in the lavatory
Kate Bishop: Hello?
Missy Kallenback: Uh?
Kate Bishop: Is somebody in here?
Missy Kallenback: I, uh… I-I am sorry. I-
Kate Bishop: Missanda? Missanda Kallenback?
Missy Kallenback: K-Katherine?
Kate Bishop: What's going on in there?
Missy Kallenback: N-N-Nothing… Nothing's going on
Kate Bishop: Where you crying in there?
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop: What happened?
Missy Kallenback:… I… I don't want to talk about it
Kate Bishop: Missanda? Running away from your problems won't do you any good
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop: Would you like to come out, or would you rather talk things out like this?
Missy Kallenback: I-I don't know
Kate Bishop: Missanda… Talk to me
Missy Kallenback:… I'm… I'm having a bad day…
Kate Bishop: Why's that? Did anybody bothered you?
Missy Kallenback: I-It's not that… It's…
Kate Bishop:…
Missy Kallenback:… I keep trying… I keep trying to be this… person they all want me to be, but no matter how hard I try it wasn't enough… They always want you to do more and I'm
Kate Bishop: Missanda?
Missy Kallenback: I… I don't think I can take it… I just… I keep reminding myself why I need to do this, but… Do you think people would accept me?
Kate Bishop: Are you kidding me? Why wouldn't they?
Missy Kallenback: I-It's just…
Kate Bishop: Missanda… You're sweet and you're caring. What kind of a heartless jack-ass would not care for you?
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop: Look. It's not that easy to live up the kind of expectation you would expect from people, and believe me you get a lot of it, but you shouldn't let people judge you like that if they don't know who you really are. If they don't then what's the point for people to…
While talking to her, Kate is realizing what she's saying to Missy and how she's feeling. Looking at her phone with Peter's number, as she decides to hang up
Kate Bishop:…
Missy Kallenback: Katherine?
Kate Bishop:… It's confusing
Missy Kallenback: What?
Kate Bishop: It's confusing to think of what you really want in life if you don't understand it. It's not always what you expected, but sometimes hits you on the face and makes you realize what kind of a person you are… You often wonder why you would even do this
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop:… Heh. Funny enough, you actually reminded me of someone I use to know over a year ago
Missy Kallenback: R-Really?
Kate Bishop: Yeah… Her name was Malin. She was just like you. She was also sweet, and charming. She was always a caring person. She came from a middle-class family that manages to pay for her studies here, and was previously home-school. She was pretty smart and hard-working. And sometimes she often wants to do the right thing and help, and I often made fun of her because she was too easy to pick on. We often made fun of her hair and her choice of lifestyle. Even her outfits, but she has nice skin. She even use to collect stuffed animals, which I have to admit was pretty cute. Back then I thought of her as a joke to laugh at. Didn't even think of her as a real person, but despite all the hardships she was such a good person… A good person I once took advantage off… Even pretended to be her friend so that I can pull a prank on her. We even invited her on this party while saying to her that we want to get to know her better, but really we were just making a harsh prank on her just to see how far we can humiliate her… We even invited this guy she has a crush on… That was then I realize what I shouldn't have done
Missy Kallenback: What… happened?
Kate Bishop:… It got out of hand and… I end up regretting it. What happen to her that day was… too far… It went too far, and I regret even agreeing to it… After that she was gone somewhere and I never saw her again… I never got to see her one last time before she left… I never even got a chance to apologize to her in person… That was the day I truly hate what I've become… So if there was a chance I would go back in time and stop it then I would. Maybe treat her better, and maybe she wouldn't have left… The thing is… I was doing it just for the attention. Reminding people of my position I have that I never realize what it has done to me… You try to be something that you're not and live that lie that you forgotten what you really are deep down. So you try to live up to what people want, but that's not what you want, and it's just another way to live a lie
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop: Thing is Missanda… You can't expect to just be something you're not so that people can like you… You're just lying to yourself and it is exhausting. If they don't respect you for who you are then they don't deserve to be friends with you
Missy Kallenback: You really mean it?
Kate Bishop: Take it from someone who's been there. Sometimes you need to speak out and just say it. Don't let them change you or break you
Missy Kallenback:…
After hearing her story about the girl Kate knew a year ago, Missy got up and came out of the lavatory. Still appearing with tears on her eyes
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop: Whoa. How long have you been in there?
Missy Kallenback: I… don't know
Kate Bishop: Hang on. Let me help you with that
Kate took out a napkin and wiped away her tears, but suddenly Missy approached and hugs her
Kate Bishop: Whoa. Easy there
Missy Kallenback:… I… I needed this…
Kate Bishop:…
Missy Kallenback: Thank you… for being nice… to me
Kate Bishop: Hey. We're friends now. Aren't we?
Hearing her say that she's now her friend caused Missy to smile abit. Feeling like a small part of her burden has been lifted, while Kate puts away her phone. Deciding not to call Peter for the prom tonight
Midtown Magnet High School: George's Classroom
Peter and George are seen talking to each other and discuss the recent event, while being updated with what is now going on
George Stacy: You're working for Silvio Manfredi?
Peter Parker: That's right. Well her daughter at least
George Stacy: You do realize the Manfredi are bad news?
Peter Parker: I already knew that the last time I've fought them
George Stacy: Look. I don't condemn you for saving a life, but for you to mix up with them hoping you can bring them down from within?
Peter Parker: She knows where I live now, and after everything that has happened since the death of Spider-Man
George Stacy: The death you faked, and why did you?
Peter Parker: Because of Menace
George Stacy:… Menace? The female goblin that's now killing a bunch of people?
Peter Parker: Killing gangs
George Stacy: That's not the point, but I'm wondering why?
Peter Parker: Because the first time I've met her it looked like she's in trouble. I think whoever hired her may have gotten her family
George Stacy: You think she did all those things because she has no choice?
Peter Parker: What would you do in her place?
George Stacy: That's a good question, but that still doesn't excuse the fact that she killed people. I've already got people that want a shoot-to-kill order on her
Peter Parker: I get it. So what do you expect me to do?
George Stacy: You bring Menace in so that we can question her
Peter Parker: And what if her family is in trouble?
George Stacy: I have the Defenders for this
Peter Parker: But do they even know, and how would you know if these Defenders can pull this off?
George Stacy: Well what would you have me to do, Peter? I can't risk any more lives, and you can't always save everyone. You're just one person regardless of your powers
Peter Parker:…
George Stacy: I'm not trying to criticize you, Peter. You're a young man that wishes to protect the people of this city as best you can, but this is beyond what you are capable of. Hell, the situation has even gotten more complicated than before
Peter Parker: You don't have to tell me twice. Things have gotten complicated already. With you saying that there's a mole in the NYPD, and that almost all of this city's gangs are being killed off. Now this task force the city's planning to present
George Stacy: Task Force?
Peter Parker: Silver Incorporated is planning to introduce a new Task Force that can better the city's protection
George Stacy: What?
Peter Parker: Yep. Even have a name. The Silver Watch
George Stacy: And they're funding it?
Peter Parker: They're presenting them tonight. I needed to go meet with them
George Stacy:… This is getting more complicated. How would this even benefit the city if they know it's being run by the most well-known crime lords?
Peter Parker: With the money they got it wouldn't matter. Their company is going strong, and they're building influence
George Stacy: So what option you think would suit us best?
Peter Parker: Honestly… I think there's a chance I could change it from within
George Stacy: You want to change the Manfredi into going straight?
Peter Parker: It's the only option. One I intend to try, and they're starting to become open to me
George Stacy:… If anything happen then just… try not to get yourself killed, Peter
Peter Parker: Don't worry about that. Just try to keep Gwen safe
George Stacy: Don't I always?
Midtown Magnet High School: Classroom
Inside one of the classroom is Gwen Stacy, as she's feeling the ache developing while seeing the green marks on her arm. Only now it's appearing more and bigger than before
Gwen Stacy: No… Nononononono! This… T-This can't be right! It can't!
Gwen quickly searches her bag for a serum to suppress it, but after she took it she sees that it's nearly empty. Fearing she has only a few days left until she runs out
Gwen Stacy:… No… I..I don't think I can make it… I can't make it…
Midtown Magnet High School: Front Entrance
Coming out from the front entrance, Peter walks and notice that there are some NYPD Officers outside the school. After being sent there to keep the school safe until the whole gang violence is sorted, but then sees a limo on front, with Meiko standing, with the other students seeing this as Peter approach
Peter Parker: Meiko?
Meiko Yin: I didn't know that the school would be surrounded with this many officers
Peter Parker: Well you can guess why. What are you doing here?
Meiko Yin: What else. To collect you. Now get in. We are behind schedule
Peter Parker:… Alright fine
Peter went inside the limo, with Meiko going in as well. Inside, Peter is then surprised to see Silvio Manfredi
Peter Parker: M-Mr. Manfredi?
Silvio Manfredi: Peter. I'm surprised to see cops in the area
Peter Parker: I already told Meiko why. Don't even know how things got this bad
Silvio Manfredi: Indeed, which can still be of benefit to us with tonight's performance
Peter Parker:…
Silvio Manfredi: You're wondering why I'm here, Peter. Well since we're going to Attolini's shop I thought we could spend some quality time together.
Peter Parker: R-Really?
Silvio Manfredi: Don't think this is going to lead into anything positive for you
Peter Parker: I-I'm not, but I don't know why
Silvio Manfredi: Let's just say you somehow got me interested, and I would like to know more about you
Peter Parker:… Okay?
Silvio Manfredi:… You don't sound too pleased
Peter Parker: N-No I'm not. I'm just surprised
Silvio Manfredi: Yeah? Well so am I
Midtown Magnet High School: Hallway
Gwen got out of the classroom and tries to maintain control while avoiding any attention, until she hears some sort of commotions from some of the in-crowd involving Peter
Flash Thompson: I don't believe you
Randy Robertson: I'm serious you guys. I heard the whole thing
Sha Shan Nguyen: Peter Parker, a gangster?
Gwen Stacy: Huh?
Gwen hid in cover and hear what the rest said about Peter
Sally Avril: Peter Parker? Our Peter Parker?
Randy Robertson: Now I know it's hard to believe
Jason Ionello: Of course it's hard to believe because there is no way
Liz Allan: Petey… In a gang?
Kenny Kong: That's cool
Glory Grant: It's not cool, Kenny! This is serious!
Randy Robertson: I didn't believe it either, but seeing the people surround him looking worried. You can tell just by their faces. It's serious, and I think they might have threaten him with his Aunt involved
Flash Thompson: I just can't accept that
Kenny Kong: Didn't think Parker had it in him
Sha Shan Nguyen: I don't believe it
Glory Grant: This just cannot be. It's not like him. Especially what happened to Lindsay
Liz Allan: Petey. Poor Petey
Jason Ionello: Poor nothing. There's no way
Randy Robertson: Do you not hear me what I just said?
Jason Ionello: I heard you, and I don't believe a loser like him could actually be part of a gang. Let alone be part of someone's gang that is even worse than the Big Man
Sally Avril: I… kind of have to agree
Randy Robertson: Sally?
Sally Avril: Randy. There's just no way
Liz Allan: But what if it is? What if he's in some kind of trouble?
Jason Ionello: It's Peter Parker. He'll wuss out of this in no time
Randy Robertson: He's still with them
Liz Allan: And how could you even say that?
Jason Ionello: Are you actually worried this guy!? You broke up with him!
Liz Allan: That doesn't mean I shouldn't be concerned about him
Jason Ionello: He's a nobody pretending to be some tough guy, Liz, and how would we even know he's in trouble?
Randy Robertson: They even mention the name. Silvio Manfredi, and maybe even worse than the Big Man of Crime
Glory Grant: Silvio Manfredi? Wasn't he that criminal from over a year ago?
Randy Robertson: That's him
Sally Avril: That just can't be like him
Flash Thompson: Well if it is then we have to do something
Sally Avril: Like what? Because I'm not getting involved in whatever
Liz Allan: Sally
Sally Avril: I'm sorry Liz, but you just going to have to forget him. He's not worth it
Glory Grant: So you want him to end up like Lindsay?
Sally Avril: W-Well… that-'s-
Jason Ionello: Oh forget you guys. There's no way I'm buying into this
Flash Thompson: Jason
Jason Ionello: No! I'm sick of this! Why do we even give a damn about Parker!?
Flash Thompson: Because despite what you may think we actually do!
Jason Ionello: Well I say good riddance! He's nothing but a problem to begin with
Liz Allan: Jason!
Jason Ionello: Think what you guys want, but I'm going home! See ya!
An annoying Jason walks off. Leaving the others in question about him while they think about what to do with Peter, until Sally speaks
Sally Avril: I kind of have to agree with Jason on this one
Randy Robertson: What?
Sally Avril: I mean let's just face it. Do we even really know that Peter really did join some kind of a gang that isn't what it seemed, and if he did then let's say that there's a chance he can be safe with them
Glory Grant: You can't be serious about this, Sally
Sally Avril: Why not? I mean what could really go wrong?
While hearing them talk, Gwen did not appear to like what she's hearing. Especially with Sally and Jason. Holding her phone as she remembers the recording of them
Gwen Stacy:… You both want to see Peter being harmed. Well I will make you eat those words
Hawthorne Academy: Gymnasium
With all the prom decorations seen already complete, Janice and her group sees the finishing touches on their plan, with a bucket of black fluid and feathers, as it was pulled up into the top of the bars above the stage where the new prom king and queen would stand
Rick: There
Linda: It's all done
Janice Foswell: Perfect. Now ensuring the result for our selected prom king and queen would be selected, and then we will have her
Amy Powell: I'm excited for this. We'll finally get back at her
Edna Blackquill: And just in time. Hope we don't get caught
Linda: The teachers are busy with other stuff. They won't notice this
Janice Foswell: And the drug?
Linda: I'm keeping it for safe keeping until tonight
Janice Foswell: Good. Now everything is in place at last
Brigham Fontaine: Except there is a problem involving Kate's date
Brigham appeared and approach Janice and her group
Janice Foswell: Are you kidding me? Like she can actually make up something like that?
Brigham Fontaine: I've overheard Kate with her friends. It appears it is someone they know well. Someone name Peter Parker
Janice Foswell: Peter Parker?
Edna Blackquill: Who's that?
Amy Powell: Wait, Peter Parker. The Bugle photographer?
Brigham Fontaine: You know him?
Amy Powell: Just the name. He takes pictures of Spider-Man
Edna Blackquill: Really?
Amy Powell: Yeah
Rick: That is cool
Janice Foswell: You have got to be kidding me. Are you sure?
Brigham Fontaine: I heard the name right
Janice Foswell: Then she must be losing it if it means her probably bringing some old guy to the prom. She could be lying
Brigham Fontaine: The reaction from her friends says differently
Janice Foswell: That still makes no difference. Whether she brings a date or not changes nothing. She's a pretender, a liar, and a joke, and a glory-hogging fiend. She won't do anything so stupid to ruin her reputation. Katherine will have the crown eventually, but that still won't help her. She'll have what's coming for her
Hawthorne Academy: Hallway
While they were talking, unknown to them is Kate Bishop, who is standing near the door and heard a portion of what they just said except that they were talking about her desire to invite Peter. Unknown what they are planning, Kate thinks back on how selfish Janice is and why she turned her backs on her in the beginning
Kate Bishop:… You won't understand why, Janice. You never did, and I have a reason to do what I did. You on the other hand… You're just too damn selfish, and I will not let you win this
While remain silent, Kate walks off and standing tall. Not willing to let Janice try to bring her down
Attolini Tailor Shop
Inside the tailor shop, Silvio and Meiko are seen waiting with the shop owner, as Peter got out in his brand new suit. Except for wearing his tie, the three looked quite impressed with how it turned out
Peter Parker: So… How do I look?
Zagna Attolini: Like a prince wearing his dress
Meiko Yin: You look handsome in that, Peter
Silvio Manfredi: Why didn't you put on your tie?
Peter Parker:… I… don't know how. My Aunt May usually does it for me
Zagna Attolini: Hehehe. My wife was like that with our boys
Silvio Manfredi: You don't know how to make your own tie?
Peter Parker: No, sir
Zagna Attolini: Well let me help you with that
Silvio Manfredi: No. Let me. It's time the boy knows how. Meiko, pay the man the rest
Meiko Yin: Yes, sir
Silvio Manfredi: Peter, come here
Peter Parker: Yes, sir
While Meiko pays the tailor owner the money, Silvio stood Peter in front of a mirror while placing the loose tie from behind his neck. Showing him how to make his own tie
Peter Parker: You sure it's no trouble?
Silvio Manfredi: You are a grown young man, Peter. It's time you learn how to make your own tie. Don't let your elders do it for you
Peter Parker: Yes, sir
Silvio Manfredi: Now pay attention. Start by grabbing the wide end of the tie on your left hand side and the narrow end of your right hand side. Make sure you adjust the narrow end is just above the top of your pants
Peter Parker: Okay
Silvio Manfredi: Now cross the wide end of the tie in front of the narrow end and back behind. Ending on the right side. Now again cross in front of the tie to the left side, and this time bring the wide end of the tie up through the loop created around your neck
Peter Parker: Right
Silvio Manfredi: Once you get that pulled through, take the wide end of the tie and insert it into the loop at the front of the tie caused by passing the wide end of the tie around the narrow end. Take your time and make sure everything is straight, and slowly synch the tie up to your collar. Making it straight and tight, and lastly fold down your collar
Peter Parker: Alright
Thanks to his advice, Peter has successfully tied his tie, as Silvio observed
Peter Parker: Wow. I actually did it
Silvio Manfredi: Yes you did. Good job
Peter Parker: Thank you, sir
Silvio Manfredi: Now you know how simple it is if you pay attention to detail, and you boy are becoming a fast learner here. That will be a beneficial thing for you. Remember that
Peter Parker: I will
Silvio Manfredi: Good
Somewhere in Midtown
Walking down the streets is Gwen Stacy, who is left in her thoughts while looking at her arm. Feeling a twitch while her head is starting to ache, as the green marks slowly disappears, but knows it will reappear again. Feeling annoyed that it happened, and that she only has a few days left of the serum left, until a limo pulls over as the window open. Seeing Roderick Kingsley sitting
Gwen Stacy: Kingsley
Roderick Kingsley: Hello my dear. How are you feeling?
Gwen Stacy: I… am not doing so well
Roderick Kingsley: It's the serum isn't it?
Gwen Stacy: I keep seeing marks on my arm
Roderick Kingsley: It's normal like that. You'll get used to it eventually
Gwen Stacy: You said I'll be done
Roderick Kingsley: And you will. The task here is almost complete, and you will be free of all this
Gwen Stacy:…
Roderick Kingsley: I have something for you
Kingsley from the limo handed Gwen the large tube of Globulin Green
Gwen Stacy: Is this?
Roderick Kingsley: The last even batch you need, and do not worry
Gwen Stacy: I… don't know if I can take this? M-My marks?
Roderick Kingsley: Would you rather lose this change to perform one last deed and walk away? Or would you rather be in absolute servitude for the rest of your life?
Gwen Stacy:…
Roderick Kingsley: Besides, we have something that can fix this problem of yours
Gwen Stacy:… One last time
Roderick Kingsley: Good… And since we are here I would like to update you on the matter. Typhoid Mary has fallen
Gwen became shocked to hear after hearing this
Gwen Stacy: W-What!?
Roderick Kingsley: Yes. It was an assault against the Dragon's Tail lair. We ran into the Ronin, and what appears to be some new allies
Gwen Stacy: And you never called me for this!?
Roderick Kingsley: Temper. Besides, this was only a small matter. We needed you for when your time arrives to launch a strike against the Manfredi
Gwen Stacy:…
Roderick Kingsley: I will speak to you later, Gwen. So until then. Stay safe
Kingsley closes the window as the limo drove off, while Gwen was left feeling angry that Typhoid Mary is gone, but notice something when Kingsley talked. Remembering what Typhoid Mary said to her about not trusting Kingsley
Gwen Stacy:… M-Mary… Did you knew? What are they really doing to me? And you told me not to trust them. Perhaps I should have done something sooner… You did warn me and I should have been prepared sooner… No more…
Meanwhile inside the limo, Kingsley is seen drinking his whiskey, but sees Nick Lewis Jr with him. As he remained hidden from Gwen's sight as he took a brief look at her
Roderick Kingsley: You satisfied now, Nick?
Nick Lewis Jr:… She still looks beautiful as I remember her. Even her glasses added more of her charm
Roderick Kingsley: Nick
Nick Lewis Jr: But she looks like she's suffering. In pain maybe-
Roderick Kingsley: Nick!
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Roderick Kingsley: That girl got you into prison in the first place
Nick Lewis Jr: I still don't get it, Kingsley. We had problems along the way, but we were happy together
Roderick Kingsley: You are the son of the Crime Master. She is the daughter of the Police Captain. It's not that simple as you wanted it to be
Nick Lewis Jr: It still doesn't make any sense
Roderick Kingsley: Would you stop it, Nick
Nick Lewis Jr: Stop what?
Roderick Kingsley: I know that look on your face, boy. A part of you is regretting having her involved into this
Nick Lewis Jr: But did she deserve it
Roderick Kingsley: She had police officers at your doorsteps, and a small hint of you believes she has no part of this?
Nick Lewis Jr: I know that. My head keeps saying to me that she did, but… my heart-
Roderick Kingsley: It is just a feeling, Nick. Feelings that will disappear overtime once she is gone. Do not make yourself look weak just because you once had a relationship with her. After all. You know what lead you to this path
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Nick Lewis Jr's Flashback
Nick Lewis Jr's Beach House: Inside
Sitting on the couch is Gwen Stacy with his ex-girlfriend, Danielle Dorothy, as they sat quietly, while Nick Lewis Jr brings drinks and sat with them
Nick Lewis Jr: Here
Gwen Stacy: Thanks
Danielle Dorothy: Thank you, Nick
The three sat quietly until Gwen speaks her mind
Gwen Stacy:… So… Who is she?
Danielle Dorothy: My name is Danielle Dorothy
Gwen Stacy: Oh, and what's your relation with Nick?
Nick Lewis Jr: Well she's-
Danielle Dorothy: His girlfriend
Gwen Stacy: What?
Nick Lewis Jr: Ex-girlfriend
Danielle Dorothy: We've been together since high school
Nick Lewis Jr: Except you wanted different things
Danielle Dorothy: We were perfect together
Nick Lewis Jr: That's not the way I remember it
Danielle Dorothy: But Nick-
Gwen Stacy: Maybe I should leave
Danielle Dorothy: Yes you should
Nick Lewis Jr: No she doesn't
Danielle Dorothy: Why? She has no business being here
Nick Lewis Jr: Yes she does. She's my girlfriend now
Danielle Dorothy: What?
Gwen Stacy: He and I are together now
Danielle Dorothy:…
Nick Lewis Jr: Look. What we had together was something I still remember, but I've moved on and I've with someone special
Danielle Dorothy: So why did you call me?
Nick Lewis Jr:… What?
Gwen Stacy: Wait, you called her?
Danielle Dorothy: Yes he did
Nick Lewis Jr: No I didn't
Danielle Dorothy: You lied
Nick Lewis Jr: How could I lie? I've never even called you anymore
Danielle Dorothy: So why did I have your message?
Nick Lewis Jr: What?
Gwen Stacy: What message?
Danielle Dorothy: This
Danielle then showed Nick her phone with the message being showed, which Gwen sees
Danielle Dorothy: See
Nick Lewis Jr: That… can't be right
Gwen Stacy: Nick?
Nick Lewis Jr: I don't remember sending this message
Danielle Dorothy: It came from your phone
Nick Lewis Jr: My phone?
Nick looked at his phone and scrolled to his sent inbox, and was surprised to find a message with Danielle's number being sent
Nick Lewis Jr: I… don't understand
Danielle Dorothy: So you did sent me the message
Nick Lewis Jr: I… don't understand
Gwen Stacy: Did you-
Nick Lewis Jr: I… don't understand
Danielle Dorothy: You still care for me, Nick. You always have
Gwen Stacy: Now hold on just a minute. You can't just appear out of nowhere and say that he wants you back
Danielle Dorothy: And how would you know, and how old are you any! Are you in high school or something!?
Gwen Stacy: I am in high school
Danielle Dorothy: Well that's a surprise. I didn't think you would go someone younger. Especially someone this venerable
Gwen Stacy: I'm not that venerable
Danielle Dorothy: Oh really then
Nick Lewis Jr: Alright that's enough!
Danielle Dorothy: Enough of what!? That my love for you is stronger!
Gwen Stacy: This isn't love you're calling it
Danielle Dorothy: And how would you know!?
Nick Lewis Jr: Drop it, Danielle!
Danielle Dorothy: Are you serious about her, Nick!?
Nick Lewis Jr: Yes I do! No I don't know what's going on, but I know far too well I didn't sent you this message!
Danielle Dorothy: You're lying!
Nick Lewis Jr: How can I!?
Danielle Dorothy: So that you can keep this girl from ever finding out about the number of girls you've been out with!
Gwen Stacy: What do you mean?
Nick Lewis Jr: It's nothing, Gwen. Don't worry
Danielle Dorothy: Oh it wasn't nothing. You may not know this, but Nick here had a number of girls in his fingertips. Slept a lot of then too
Gwen Stacy: What?
Nick Lewis Jr: That was a long time ago, but I've put that behind me
Danielle Dorothy: Oh really!? What about your dad's inheritance. The one you was supposed to take over now!
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Danielle Dorothy: Does she even know? What you're getting her into?
Gwen Stacy: You mean the perfume business?
Danielle Dorothy: Oh that wasn't like that from the beginning. You see, his dad was something of a big shot in this city. The one people feared!
Gwen Stacy: What are you talking about?
Nick Lewis Jr: Don't Danielle!
Danielle Dorothy:… His dad's the Crime Master
Gwen Stacy appeared shocked to hear the identity of Nick's father, who is the notorious Crime Master. A name she recognize from one of her father's files as she looked at Nick
Gwen Stacy: The… Crime Master?
Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen
Gwen Stacy: Your dad's the Crime Master?
Danielle Dorothy: Oh he certainly is, and Nick here is on line to take his legacy
Nick Lewis Jr: ENOUGH!
Gwen Stacy:…
Nick Lewis Jr: Whatever my dad is. It's something I don't want to be a part of, so why don't you just shut your mouth and leave!
Danielle Dorothy: You think you can just get rid of me like this!? After what we've been through!?
Nick Lewis Jr: What we've been through was just another lie!
Danielle Dorothy: And what! You think you can just walk away and go straight! And with her!?
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Gwen Stacy:…
Nick Lewis Jr:… Yes… Yes I would
Danielle Dorothy: Why? She's just another girl you'll just dump for another!
Nick Lewis Jr: Not this time… Not anymore…
Danielle Dorothy:…
Nick Lewis Jr:… Leave… Now, and never come back
Danielle Dorothy:… You have no right… YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO THIS!
Gwen Stacy: Yes he does
Gwen then stood forward to Nick's defense
Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen
Danielle Dorothy: Back of you!
Gwen Stacy: No! You back off! I don't know what your problem is, but Nick has the right to decide his own life, and you just can't come in and just say that he has to be some kind of crime lord
Danielle Dorothy: You have no idea who you're dealing with here
Gwen Stacy: Oh I do, and you're not going to lay a single finger on him or his life. So just leave
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Danielle Dorothy:… She's weakening you, Nick. She's holding you back!
Nick Lewis Jr: You heard her, Danielle
Danielle Dorothy:…
Nick Lewis Jr: I'm with Gwen now, and I've made my choice. So this is my response to you… Leave
Danielle appeared furious that nick has rejected her. Turning her attention to Gwen, who she believes has soften him
Danielle Dorothy:… I'm not done with you girly
Nick Lewis Jr: Yes you are
Danielle Dorothy: You're 21 years old, and you're with this high school bitch!
Nick Lewis Jr: SHUT UP! THAT IS ENOUGH, DANIELLE!
Danielle Dorothy:…
Nick Lewis Jr: You spoke your mind. Now leave!
Danielle Dorothy: But nick-
Nick Lewis Jr: I SAID LEAVE!
Danielle Dorothy:…
While saddened, the angry Danielle looked at Gwen and left the house from the front door. With that done, Nick and Gwen turned to each other after the revelation that he's the son of the Crime Master
Gwen Stacy:…
Nick Lewis Jr:… Gwen… I-
Gwen Stacy: You're the Crime Master's son?
Nick Lewis Jr:… I thought about telling you, but… I don't know how you would react
Gwen Stacy: That you're the son of a crime lord
Nick Lewis Jr:… Yeah…
Gwen Stacy: You're right… I don't know how to react. I also don't know how many other girls you been with before me
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Gwen Stacy: So Janice wasn't your first or second?
Nick Lewis Jr:… More than that
Gwen Stacy:…
Nick Lewis Jr:… Gwen… I admit. I did so many things I'm not proud of, but meeting you changed things for me, and for the first time since we're together I wanted to be a better person than ever. I don't want to lose that… I don't want to lose you because you're the only thing that keeps me straight… I care about you, Gwen
Gwen Stacy:… I care about you too, Nick. For a long time… I feel like I've finally found something more meaningful
Nick Lewis Jr:… So what now?
Gwen Stacy:… I don't know… I don't even know what to think anymore
Nick Lewis Jr: And us?
Gwen Stacy:… A part of me wants to walk away, but another part of me won't
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Gwen Stacy: You really meant it?
Nick Lewis Jr: I do, and I'm willing to change… I can change… For you
Gwen Stacy:…
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Gwen Stacy:… Then don't stop, because I'm not going to leave you like this
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Nick approached as he and Gwen hug each other tightly. Ensuring each other that things will be okay
Nick Lewis Jr:… I will do right for you, Gwen. Count on it
Gwen Stacy:… What about her?
Nick Lewis Jr: Danielle? If she's smart enough she'll back off
Gwen Stacy:…
Nick Lewis Jr: I'm not letting you go Gwen. Not ever
Gwen Stacy: I won't either…
Gwen and Nick held each other tightly, while ensuring themselves that things would eventually get better for them
Nick Lewis Jr's Flashback End
Nick looked at the photo in his phone of him and Gwen. Still thinking about the situation involving Danielle
Nick Lewis Jr:… It still doesn't add up. Danielle was trouble, but insane wasn't part of her vocabulary
Roderick Kingsley: But you do have a way with women after all. That's something you've inherited from your father well
Nick Lewis Jr: That still doesn't explain how a message I know I never sent end up on her phone
Roderick Kingsley: And you don't believe Gwen Stacy has anything to do about it?
Nick Lewis Jr: It's not like her too sell me out like that
Roderick Kingsley: Surely you don't mean that. Do you?
Nick Lewis Jr: For a while I often thought if somebody else would have sent that message just to split us up
Roderick Kingsley: Now you're just being ridiculous
Nick Lewis Jr: Is it? Or could it be that somebody else have access to my phone
Roderick Kingsley: Surely you don't think I have something to do with it. Do you, Nick?
Nick Lewis Jr: I don't know. Do you?
Roderick Kingsley: Look, boy. That girl is nothing but trouble to you. Just another piece of meat for you to have fun with until you dispose of her
Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen is different. She's not like the others
Roderick Kingsley: And yet we involved her into something we never thought she would be capable of and turn her into something we've never expected she would become
Nick Lewis Jr: We gave her a formula we know it's unstable when it was made
Roderick Kingsley: And yet we gave it to her knowing what it would do to her. You know what she's capable of now, and we can't have any more lose ends
Nick Lewis Jr: I know
Roderick Kingsley: Don't forget, boy. You were the one that suggested we break her pieces-by-pieces until she is nothing more than an empty shell
Nick Lewis Jr: It was a moment of anger
Roderick Kingsley: No. It was a moment where I see a spark of your father in you
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Roderick Kingsley: I know that looking at the sight of her has brought back old feeling, but its time you bury that part of your history and work your way into your father's legacy as Ihave serves as his right-hand man. That is your purpose, Nick. Nothing else matters but your future to this new empire. Nothing more
Nick Lewis Jr:… You may be right
Roderick Kingsley: Of course I'm right. Why shouldn't I be?
Nick Lewis Jr:…
Roderick Kingsley: Anyhow
Kingsley brought out another glass and pour in whiskey. Handing it to Nick as they both raise a glass
Roderick Kingsley: A toast. May you reign on top as your father's successor as a bright future awaits you
Nick Lewis Jr:… Here, here…
Channel 7 News Headquarters: Whitney Chang's Office
In her Office, Whitney Chang looks over the map of New York, with images and sightings of Menace and where she was last scene
Whitney Chang: Hmm… This is interesting
Just then her co-worker, David Hine, appeared with more information about the sightings of Menace
David Hine: Whitney, I got something
Whitney Chang: What you found?
David Hine: Exactly what the other sightings report. Though she appeared in other parts of New York, the most she appeared in was Midtown
Whitney Chang: I figured so, and it would explain something
David Hine: So she could be in any one of those places
Whitney Chang: What do you think is the most likely she'll be?
David Hine: Well… She could be in an abandon building or a warehouse or something
Whitney Chang: My thoughts exactly
Martin Redstone: What is this?
Just then, her Editor-and-Chief, Martin Redstone appeared and saw what Whitney was doing based on the map and on the board
Martin Redstone: Is that what I think it is?
Whitney Chang: Exactly what you're seeing
David Hine: Hey, Mr. Redstone
Martin Redstone: Get out, Hine
David Hine: Yes, Mr. Redstone
Whitney Chang: Thanks for your help, David
With David out of the office, Martin starts confronting Whitney
Martin Redstone:…
Whitney Chang: I know what you're thinking, Martin, but you can't change my mind on this
Martin Redstone: You're going after that Menace. The same freak that killed Spider-Man
Whitney Chang: That's right
Martin Redstone: Why?
Whitney Chang: Something is up, Martin. I don't know what, but something is definitely up
Martin Redstone: And you think she has something to do with it
Whitney Chang: She's part of something. That I know
Martin Redstone:… Is it too late for me to tell you to abandon this?
Whitney Chang: You know me well, Martin
Martin Redstone: Whitney, this is stupid. I can't allow you to go any further
Whitney Chang: My minds made up.
Martin Redstone: Whitney
Whitney Chang: I was right about this whole gang war thing
Martin Redstone: That may be so, but that still doesn't excuse what you're doing
Whitney Chang: Something is going on here. I don't know what but something is happening. I need to find out, and she is my lead
Martin Redstone: So you rather get yourself killed again?
Whitney Chang: When did I ever tried to get myself killed?
Martin Redstone:…
Whitney Chang: I know what you're trying to do here, Martin, but this is important. I can't just walk away like this
Martin Redstone: What's there to find?
Whitney Chang: The city's gangs are being killed every single day, and the only group we've encountered so far is the Hobgoblin and his crew, but what happen to Doctor Octopus? Where's he in all of this, and why hasn't he shown up since the Vandemere Hotel incident?
Martin Redstone: Maybe he's given up
Whitney Chang: No. Maybe he's waiting in the sidelines until he sees an opening. Maybe something else is at works
Martin Redstone: Like what exactly?
Whitney Chang: I don't know, but that's what I intent to find out
Martin Redstone:…
Whitney Chang: Now if you'll excuse me, I have a job to do
Martin Redstone: Whitney
Whitney Chang: Too late to change my mind, Martin. See ya
Whitney picked up her bag with all her notes and head off. Leaving Martin quite worried for her safety since he knows she has been on this kind of path before involving a certain someone, while looking at her board
Martin Redstone: God, Jacob. Is there no way for you to stop her?

Parker Robbins is seen with Typhoid Mary, as they are walking down the hallway and into a room, where a large screen is seen. Turning it on as a mysterious figure wearing a black hood is seen as his face was covered
Parker Robbins: My lord. I have brought Mary with us
Typhoid Mary: Master
? (on screen): I have been updated by your progress, Mary. You have done well for yourself, but I am still in doubt about whether this plan of yours will work
Typhoid Mary: It will, my master. As long as I can get the girl to succeed in my place, but I need to make sure the plan goes smoothly
? (on screen): What would you require?
Typhoid Mary: Some materials I need to pick up, and a sniper with something that can depower a mutant for a short time
? (on screen): You shall have what you need, but the plan must be on schedule, Mary. No delays. Our moment is weeks away and the pieces are nearly in place. Ensure you've succeed until then
Parker Robbins: It shall be done, my lord
Typhoid Mary: I will not fail you, my master
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey everyone. I'm really sorry I took so long to update this, but the thing is my computer completely broke. I lost all of my stories in the process and I haven't manage to save any of it before it broke. I did have a back-up copy on my separate hard-drive, but like I said I didn't get to save any of it. I had my computer fixed with some new updates and I'm currently making up for the loss of time
In the last chapter I did say the next one was suppose top be the prom, but I've been looking over this story while I was doing it and found that I needed to do a lot of rewriting and add a lot more to the story. I'm actually half done with the prom story and I might add it up in either next week or two
Again, sorry for the delay and I'll make up for it as I go
