Rider Paladin: Monica Chang will be introduced later on as the older sister of Whitney Chang. I've been thinking about this since I realize they both have the same last name, and I think it would be interesting to see Whitney's side of the family. Whitney has the drive to be a better journalist, but at the same time she couldn't put any lives at risk, including Peter. She now understands him and want to do right by him. I'm trying to increase Whitney's profile since Marvel hasn't done anything for this character
The idea is to set up the Parker House to shelter young teen superheroes is what I've been thinking about. My thought is that after Peter returns to his Spider-Man persona he would lead his own team of young superheroes, while encountering something unexpected for the team to fight. Keeping a secret from Aunt May is something I've thought about, but I won't spoil it
While Gwen's role as a super-villain will be for a while you are however right to point out things would end badly, because I've already thought of how bad it can get for the people around her. The Gwen creepy masturbation scene… had to happen

Inside her room, Kate is seen wearing her school uniform. A Navy Blue Blazer with white stripe lining on the sleeves with the Hawthorne emerald on the left side breast pocket, with a red tie, a Scottish tartan skirt, a long black over-knee socks, and a black pumps flat brougue loafer. Looking at herself in the mirror Kate takes her school bag, while trying to forget what almost happen to her the other day
Kate Bishop: Okay Kate, just be yourself… That moment's behind you, so there's nothing for you to feel… Nothing at all…
As she is about to leave, Kate sees a flyer involving Hawthorne Academy's Annual Prom Night. Looking at it and was feeling uninterested

Few minutes later, Kate is seen on the table eating breakfast with her family, as they perform their own morning activities, with their Butler Jeeves
Jeeves: Any more coffee for you sir?

Eleanor Bishop: I just got a call from Melissa Cunningham, her son is coming home in a few days

Doctor Octopus is seen in his lab perfecting the chemical component using the blood one of his men stole, and with intense studying he has perfected the formula with ease as Mr. Negative appears

Mr. Negative: I am impressed Doctor Octopus
Doctor Octopus: You should be my friend. My genius knows no boundaries, and thanks to the translation notes you've given me I have successfully developed the formula needed for our rule
Mr. Negative: The Devil's Breath, at last
With the finishing touches, Doctor Octopus completed the formula as it was placed inside a container
Doctor Octopus: Excellent, and just in time
Mr. Negative: I'll send in some of my Inner Demons to assist for this
Doctor Octopus: That would be most gracious of you Negative, and I also would like to include our new recruit into the fold
Approaching Doctor Octopus and Mr. Negative is a fully powered and upgraded Debra Whitman, now as Scorpion in her green-and-black armored attire with an armored wrist with a bladed kunai attached, along with armored boots and chest with an armored face mask
Doctor Octopus: What say you Scorpion?
Scorpion: I shall do as you ask of me Doctor
Doctor Octopus: Excellent
Mr. Negative: The Scorpion will taste battle at last, and with the Ronin out to stop us this is going to be an interesting battle
Doctor Octopus: Indeed. Prepare yourself for the task at hand Scorpion, for there will be a wedding for you to attend

Midtown Manhattan Magnet High School : Front Entrance
Arriving at the front gate of the school much earlier is May and Peter, as they accompany Nico who feels nervous about going to school for the first time
Peter Parker: Here it is Nico. Midtown High, were the magic of knowledge happens

Nico Minoru: Yeah, everything's fine… I'm just getting use to the fact that I'm going back to school

Peter and Nico could not believe May has gotten herself fake documents, which would have been considered illegal

May Parker: Move along you two, the earlier we do this the more on time you both will be in class
May moves ahead inside the school, as Peter and Nico both could not believe the side of her they are seeing. With May charmed her forgers into giving forged documents and a driver's license in discount, plus a free fake luxury bag

Peter Parker: She is an evil master of manipulation

The two enter the school building with Aunt May, while Sally, Sha Shan, Flash, Randy, Liz, Jason, Glory, and Kenny looks at Peter with his Aunt May and a new girl with him
Liz Allen: Who's the girl with Parker?
Randy Robertson: No idea. She must be new
Sally Avril: Parker's got another girl!? Are you kidding me!?

In front of an old English style building, which is a prep school for kids from New York's most wealthiest families who can afford the best education in the state. A black limo appeared in front of the gate as Kate got out, with some of the boys looking dawned by this long black-hair beauty. Kate later on meets with her friends who were waiting for her to arrive
Britney Amber Fox: Katie!
Josephine Bricklemoore: Kate
Priscilla Ironwood: Katherine

Britney approached and hugged Kate with the others approaching

Brigham Fontaine. Hawthorne Academy's own playboy, and Kate's ex-boyfriend. Appearing with his good-looking charms and shiny blonde hair caries his school bag and walks through the gate, but not before catching a glimpse of his ex-gilfriend, who she appeared uneasy seeing him, as Brigham put a smileon his face
Britney Amber Fox: Look at fine looking Fontaine going
Kate Bishop: I really really don't need this right now
Priscilla Ironwood: Exactly how did you broke up with him anyway?
Britney Amber Fox: More at the matter at hand, why did you break up with him in the first place?
Josephine Bricklemoore: Oh leave her be Britney, besides you got yourself a new boy you're interested in
Priscilla Ironwood: Heh, yeah

The four girls went inside to class, but with the rest of the Hawthorn students heading in one girl in particular is seen looking unhappy, as she is seen with her dark brown hair pulled up, wearing her glasses, and her freckles on her face. Missy Kallenback

Channel 7 News Headquarters
Whitney Chang is seen sitting on her desk while she looks at her computer and investigating the background of Derek Bishop, after knowing his involvement with the Inner Demons and the Sinister Syndicate, but also brought up an image of Peter as Spider-Man battling a villain a few months ago on her computer screen, alongside a picture of the Punisher in his original outfit. While she investigates Whitney looks back at the connection involving Roxxon, and its rumors if illegal activity
Whitney Chang:… What am I missing… What is it that I can't see?
Just then David Hine appeared with large stacks of paper involving Roxxon
David Hine: Hey Whitney
Whitney Chang: David, are these?
David Hine: All the files you need involving Roxxon, but get this they've been pretty active lately since the Norman Osborn's death, and they've gotten some major profits along the way
Whitney Chang: Well those guys do love to make money. Oil, natural resources, GMO, and the ever popular arms manufacture. These guys can make money out of almost anything and not give a damn about anyone else or the environment for that matter
David Hine: Would be awesome to bring these guys down
Whitney Chang: Except they have a strong lobbying firm in Washington and have ties to major political members within the US government itself. They'll cover their ass regardless, which is why we have whistleblowers to thank for. Well better get to it then
Ryker Island Penitentiary: Mark Allen's Cell
Entering his cell, Curt Connors appeared in front of Mark Allen, who's in his bed and lifted his head as he looked at him
Curt Connors: Mr. Allen
Mark Allen: You must be him?
Curt Connors: Yes, I'm Dr. Cut Connors, and I'm here to help you
Mark Allen: Really and how much is my dad paying you?
Curt Connors:…
Mark Allen: You should just forget me Doc. I ain't worth helping
Curt Connors: Mr. Allen
Mark Allen: I'm serious Doc. Incase you haven't realized it I got myself in this mess
Curt Connors: Yes. I understand you had an addiction to gambling, and according to your record you said this happened because you wanted to clear your gambling debt
Mark Allen: Yeah, and I'm starting to wish I should have tuned back when I got out
Curt Connors: The one that gave you these powers, was his name Miles Warren?
Mark Allen: Yeah
Curt Connors:… I knew Warren, and the sub-dermal armor that's currently infused inside you was done in my lab
Mark Allen: Excuse me? You mean you-
Curt Connors: No, it's not like that, but when I first found out what he's been doing I wanted to stop him
Mark Allen: And why didn't you?
Curt Connors:…
As he stood silent, Mark stood up from his bed and looked at Curt as he displays a familiar look
Mark Allen:… He played you didn't he?
Curt Connors: How did-
Mark Allen: You're talking to someone who was played himself
Curt Connors:… Yeah…
Mark Allen: What he got on you?
Curt Connors:… Doesn't matter now… But after the incident the board cut me off, I lost my lab, and me and my family had to move to California to start over. It actually wasn't so bad, but-
Mark Allen: But you got hired back after that guy got toast
Curt Connors:…
Mark Allen:… He deserved it, and so as everyone else that messed me up big time
Curt Connors:… I think I can cure you
Mark Allen: What?
Curt Connors: Or at least help you control it until I can properly extract the particles out of your system, but it will take some time until I can get a proper sample
Mark Allen: You think you can help me control this?
Curt Connors: I can try… If you let me, and perhaps if successful you can live a normal life
Mark Allen: A normal life!? How can I have a normal life after all the crazy things I've done!? I'm not some guy who can be fixed that easily Doc
Curt Connors: There is still hope for you
Mark Allen: And what makes you say that?
Curt Connors: Because a few months ago there was a mass break out, and out of those criminals that escaped and then they disappeared. And out of those many you are one of the few that stayed behind. Why?
Mark Allen:… Because there's nothing for me out there besides hurting the people I care about the most, and there are two I've made worse
Curt Connors: Your sister?
Mark Allen: That… and someone very close to me
Curt Connors:… Do you want to see them again?
Mark Allen:…
Curt then moved closer and placed his hand on Mark's shoulder, as the two looked at each other face-to-face
Mark Allen:…
Curt Connors:… This isn't the end for you Mark, because like you I too had trouble, but that doesn't mean it can't be fixed. I can help undo what Miles did to you. I can help you get your life back, but you have to believe that there is a chance for you to start over
Mark Allen:… What if you can't?
Curt Connors: Then I keep try until I do… Please Mark… Let me help you
Mark Allen:… He mentioned you once
Curt Connors: Who?
Mark Allen: Spider-Man… He said you could help me… Said you would
Curt Connors:…
Mark Allen:… He's really dead isn't he?
Curt Connors:… Yeah…
Mark Allen:… Heh… Man… All this time I wanted to hurt Spider-Man, but I didn't think this would happen… Still couldn't believe it though
Curt Connors:… Me too…
St May Ann Hospital: Patient Room
Inside one patient room, Felicia Hardy is seen with her hair pulled back, and wearing a black office-like suit with a long coat, as she was talking to a doctor involving a patient. The doctor left the room with a check Felicia gave to him, as she approached the hospital bed as an elderly woman is seen asleep. Felicia's mother, Lydia Hardy, as she starts to open her eyes
Lydia Hardy:… F-Felicia…
Felicia Hardy:… Hi mom…
Lydia Hardy:… What's… the matter dear?
Felicia Hardy: Good news. I manage to save enough money, and it looks like you'll be getting that operation soon.
Lydia Hardy: I-I am?
Felicia Hardy: Yes… The doctors are setting things up
Lydia Hardy:… Good… I-I didn't think… I would get it in time
Felicia Hardy: Everything is taking care of, so don't worry
Lydia Hardy:…
Felicia Hardy:… What is it mom?
Lydia Hardy:… Have I ever told you… how I met your father… It was from that one job in Paris… He was very handsome when I fist met him…
Felicia Hardy: Heh, yeah I remember, and how you both got married there
Lydia Hardy:… I dream of Paris again… I dream of us living in the countryside… I dream of you meeting a nice young man and have children with
Felicia Hardy:…
Lydia Hardy:… When your father gets out… we should consider moving someplace far away… Be a family again… would that be nice Felicia?
Felicia Hardy:… Yes… Yes it is…
St May Ann Hospital: Hallway
After her talk with he mother, Felicia is sitting in the hallway looking at her phone with a picture of her younger self and her parents together, but as she puts away her phone Felicia spots an old Daily Bugle paper on one of the seats, as she picks it up to see a photo of Spider-Man which reads "Spider-Man is Dead". The thought of the person she once cared for gone from her life upsets Felicia, despite the fact that she hated him for what happened to his father, Felicia still couldn't believe that Spider-Man is gone, and that his killer is still out there
Felicia Hardy:… It's been a year since I saw you… A year of wanting to make you pay… A year that I have been thinking about you… and it's the hardest feeling to have because I still have feelings for you. But now… now you're gone. You're gone… You're actually gone Spider… and I don't know what to feel… It was still your fault that my father chose to stay in that prison, and I have never forgiven you for that… but I still cannot get over the fact that I still care for you, and now that you're gone your killer is still out there… and no one is doing anything about it… I will get my father out and I will reunite my family, but I will not forget the fact that you still mean something to me, and I can never abandon the fact I still care about you
Felicia threw the paper back on the seat as she is about to leave the hospital, with a new ambition
Felicia Hardy: Once my family is back together again I'm going to go after the one that killed you Spider. I'm going to find this Menace, and I will make her pay for your death. Mark my words Spider-Man I will make her pay. I swear it
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Here we have the introduction to two new characters and one returning one
Brigham Fontaine is a character I've wanted to include since seeing what he can do, and the Spider-Man universe needs new villains. If anybody read the comic book "Spider-Man: Out of Reach (2004)" Brigham is a child protege and Otto Octavius's one-time successor before he decided not to allow the boy to suffer the same fate he did. Otto often sees Brigham as the son he always wanted. In this story he's Hawthorne Academy's own handsome playboy student and Kate's ex-boyfriend, who has her own reason why she broke up with him
Another character introducing is Lydia Hardy, Felicia Hardy's mother, who is what drives her into this path as she plans to get her father out of prison
A returning character we haven't seen in a while, Missy Kallenback. Last seen in chapter 9, Missy is back and is a student at Hawthorne Academy. She will have quite a complicated role in this, which I won't spoil
And lastly we have Debra Whitman as this story's Scorpion. If anybody played the video game "Mortal Kombat" then imagine that version of Scorpion as a woman, because this version of the story is pretty much that
Another cast we haven't seen in a while is Mark Allen. Liz Allen's older brother will also have a role in this as the Molten Man, but will face some conflict as to what he would do with his life
Few more characters on the way, including other members of the Sinister Syndicate, and we'll be progressing the story forward from that point on. So enjoy
