The doorbell rang as Helen Stacy opened the front door as Mary Jane Watson appeared
Mary Jane Watson: Hey Mrs. Stacy
Helen Stacy: Mary Jane. I'm glad you came by
Mary Jane Watson: I am too
Helen Stacy: So you are here for Gwen?
Mary Jane Watson: Yeah that right. Is she home?
Helen Stacy: She's in her room, but she's about to leave to meet with Harry
Mary Jane Watson: Is she alright?
Helen Stacy: What do you mean?
Mary Jane Watson: … Did you notice anything… strange about her?
Helen Stacy:… Well she was quiet… and tired all of a sudden. She just came back wet from the rain

Gwen is seen looking though her phone with data she secretly copied from her Dad's police file and had it sent to Kingsley until she heard a knock from her bedroom door

Gwen hides her stuff as her mother opened the door and let Mary Jane in

He's not speaking to Harry! And I can't even see him! I hurt him MJ! I hurt him and I can't do anything about it! So what can I do about it!? What makes you so sure he will ever take me back!?
Mary Jane Watson: Because he told me so!

Mary Jane Watson: Because he thinks if he comes back into your lives then he's afraid he would screw up. He's afraid that he would do something that might destroy whatever chance with you because the truth is… Peter is still in love with you!
Gwen appeared shocked to hear that Peter is still I love with her
Gwen Stacy: What… What did you just say?
Mary Jane Watson: … He told me himself after I confronted him the other day after that argument during the Cafeteria

Mary Jane Watson: … He's still in love with you Gwen. He's still in love with you and he never stop caring about you, but he doesn't know what do to because he thinks he might ruin your relationship with Harry, and what he's been doing this whole time was trying to move on… but he can't… because he still has feelings for you

Mary Jane Watson: If Peter found out that Harry was cheating on you he would have stayed by your side. He would have been with you
Gwen Stacy: … Peter… is still in love with me?
Mary Jane Watson: He does Gwen… He does and all he ever wanted was for you to be happy… He just doesn't want to make anything worse

Gwen sat on her bed confused and depressed as she doesn't know what to do. Now as she's affiliated with Kingsley's organization

Gwen Stacy: … I know that! I know… I just don't know how I should feel. I mean thinking about that day… I had a chance with him and I lost it. I still regret it, but I always hope there is a chance that we would be together

Gwen Stacy: … Why are you telling me this Mary Jane. You know that Peter would find out
Mary Jane Watson: Maybe… but I also know that I can't stand my best friend feeling down like that. And I should be an expert on that because I can never get the chance to be with Mark, but I know its not too late for you to be with Peter, because he's been a really good friend that would do anything, and you deserve someone like that
Gwen Stacy: …
Mary Jane Watson: …
Gwen Stacy: … I need to be alone… Let this sink in…
Mary Jane Watson: Are you sure?
Gwen Stacy: Yeah… Yeah I'm sure… and maybe I can tell him myself
Mary Jane Watson: … If you want I can be there for you if you needed it

Mary Jane left the room, leaving Gwen confused as to what just happened, but then later smiled by this revelation as she believes Peter is still in love with her

Next Day:
Parker House: Peter's Room
Peter is seen wearing a new black leather jacket and black jeans and a T-shirt with a revolution image on it, as he looks on the mirror and fix his hair as he prepares to leave and meet with Sable Manfredi at her place
Peter Parker: Okay. This is it. You've been preparing for this. You are of to meet Silver Sable in person… as Peter Parker. And perhaps be a hired thug that does her bidding while you find something that can help you to stop a gang war that can get a lot of people killed, and maybe put your Aunt May's life at risk if you screwed up. Yeah… good job so far Parker, real smooth and stupid. One mistake and you might get yourself or the people you cared for killed, and it's pretty much too late for you to turn back now. Okay… let's do this
Parker House: Kitchen
Peter went downstairs to meet with his Aunt May
Peter Parker: Hey Aunt May
May Parker: Hello Peter and I see you're ready
Peter Parker: Yep. Don't know how it will go though
May Parker: Well I'm sure you'll do fine. It's not everyday you get this kind of internship from a beautiful lady like her
Peter Parker:… Remind me again. How did you two manage to hit it off like that?
May Parker: Heh, a woman's intuition
Peter Parker:… Right (If only she knew what kind of woman Sable is)
May hands Peter a large bag with cases of cake
May Parker: Here's my special cake for you to give here, and extra for those men. So don't be late and stay confident and maybe she can introduce you to her friends. You might actually get a chance to work as a scientist in whatever company she's tied with
Peter Parker: I'll remember that
May Parker: And Peter
Peter Parker: Yeah Aunt May?
May Parker: I wish you the best and I know you'll do great
Peter Parker:… Thanks Aunt May
May Parker: Now run along, you don't want to be late
Peter Parker: No ma'am
Peter then left the house, but not before feeling worried what might happen to him if he goes through with it
Somewhere in Manhattan
Peter is seen coming out of a train station as he heads to his destination to a tall and expensive looking skyscraper building with glass, concrete and steel. The Skycadia House
Peter Parker:… Wow… That is… just too expensive
Skycadia House: Inside
Peter went inside and met with the reception as he shows him the card
Skycadia Receptionist: Yeah what do you want kid?
Peter Parker: Um, I'm Peter Parker, and I'm here to meet with Sable Manfredi
Skycadia Receptionist:…
Peter Parker: I got a card here
Skycadia Receptionist: Elevator, top floor, Penthouse. I'll let them know you're here
Peter Parker: Thanks
Peter heads to the elevator and presses the button up to the Penthouse
Sable's Skycadia Penthouse: Hallway
As Peter arrived the elevator doors open and is welcomed by Meiko Yin herself, being accompanied by two armed men
Peter Parker: Oh
Meiko Yin: Hello Mr. Parker, and it is good to see you again
Peter Parker: You're Meiko Yin
Meiko Yin: I'm pleased you remember me, and I see you brought goods with you
Peter Parker: Yeah. My Aunt May was thinking about you guys and Miss Manfredi that she made cake
Meiko Yin: That is very nice of your Aunt May to think of us and I will see Miss Manfredi receives this generosity ( Meiko takes the bag and handed to one of the armed men to the kitchen ) Come with me. I will take you to Miss Manfredi
Meiko takes Peter inside the Penthouse, as he could not believe how much bigger it is compared to Osborn's Penthouse. Appearing more modern stylish and luxurious, with windows showing outside how high they are in as skyscrapers are seen with the Madison Square garden far on the ground
Peter Parker: Whoa
Meiko Yin: You like what you see?
Peter Parker: Are you kidding me, this place is huge. It's much bigger then the Penthouse I've been in to
Meiko Yin: You've been in a similar Penthouse like this?
Peter Parker: Yeah. A friend of mine, well not anymore
Meiko Yin: Really, why. What happen to you and this friend?
Peter Parker: It's complicated, but we stop being friends after an… incident occurred that got his father killed. Guess with all the money he's got he thinks of himself as top of the world. We had an argument and that was that
Meiko Yin: Money and power corrupts. If you do not show any discipline then you will end up nowhere
Peter Parker: You can say that
Meiko Yin: Mistress is outside in the pool, we will discuss things there
Peter Parker: Um, okay?
Sable's Skycadia Penthouse: Balcony
The two went outside to hte balcony were the design appeared stylish and modern, with Sable swimming in her pool being seen in front of them, Sable then comes out of her swimming pool in her white bikini, as Peter becomes mesmerized by her attractive figure, as he sees the water dripping down from her hair and body
Peter Parker: Wow (Oh god what the hell am I doing! That's Sable Manfredi! Silvio's daughter! And I can't stop looking at her!)
Meiko Yin: I advised you to focus and be more respectable towards Mistress
Peter Parker: Right, sorry
Meiko Yin: Miss Manfredi, Mr. Parker is here
Sable Manfredi: Ah Peter. Welcome
Peter Parker: Um, thanks
Sable Manfredi: Have a seat on the table over there. I have things to discuss with you
Sable grabbed a gown from a maid and wears it, as she and Peter sat on the table, with Meiko standing next to her boss, as the two talks
Sable Manfredi: Thank you for accepting this offer Peter.
Peter Parker: Thank you for having me
Sable Manfredi: So how is your Aunt?
Peter Parker: She's good. She even thinks about you and she made cake for you
Sable Manfredi: Oh that's very sweet of her. Give my thanks to her
Peter Parker: I will
Sable Manfredi: So. Here you are
Peter Parker: Yeah. Here I am
Sable Manfredi: And you don't seem trilled about it
Peter Parker: No, it's not that. It's just that I've never done something like this before
Sable Manfredi: First day in the job always make you feel nervous, but rest assure. If you need any help then feel free to ask anyone
Peter Parker: I'll do that
Sable Manfredi: But I would like to ask you some question and I would like it if you were being honest with me
Peter Parker: I understand
Sable Manfredi: I must admit, I didn't think you would accept this offer to work for me
Peter Parker: Believe me I didn't think I would work for you either
Sable Manfredi: So what changed your decision?
Peter Parker:… Well I was laid off from my job temporarily until I get myself a different assignment
Sable Manfredi: Like you taking pictures of Spider-Man?
Peter Parker:…
Sable Manfredi: You've built yourself quite a reputation Peter for being the only one photographer that takes pictures of that web-swinger
Peter Parker: So I've heard
Sable Manfredi: And your latest one involves him being killed in an explosion after his fight against this Menace character
Peter Parker: I do what I can to stay alive while getting the job done
Sable Manfredi: I can see that, and I can also see how dangerous it has become for you. To risk your own life just to get the perfect shot so you can get paid for it, despite the dangers that comes with it. A very dangerous task for someone your age
Peter Parker: I had a job to do and I went with it, but that was also the reason why I was laid off
Sable Manfredi: Because of the growing activity here the job itself appeared too dangerous for a young man like you to be involved in
Peter Parker:… Yeah… That was precisely the reason
Sable Manfredi: All for the money?
Peter Parker: If it involves the people I care about then yeah
Sable Manfredi: And that's were I'm noticing something here. You're slowly paying your debts and bills, and the more money you made the easier it is to pay them off. I also know that your Aunt May is publishing her cook-book, which has earned her much money to pay some of them off, so why you? Why work hard and risk your own life just to earn more money?
As she finished off her question, Peter replied what he felt was natural to Sable as Meiko looked in suspicious
Peter Parker:… I was worried about her. Worried if something bad happen, and kept wondering if I'd screwed things up with her
Sable Manfredi: And what makes you say that?
Peter Parker:… You have files about me when you came to meet me didn't you?
Sable Manfredi: I do, and it was interesting
Peter Parker: Then you know what happened over a year ago
Meiko Yin:…
Sable Manfredi:… That… I was not expecting
Peter Parker: When my Uncle Ben was killed I had to do something that would help my Aunt May pay off the overdue bills, and when the Bugle advertise that they would pay money for pictures of Spider-Man I saw the opportunity and I took it.
Sable Manfredi: And that involves you getting into situations that would be deemed dangerous and with no help no less
Peter Parker: I made a lot of money from it and I made a career out of it and manage to pay off some of our debts and hospital bills. I didn't do it just for fun or be greedy; I'm doing it because she's my responsibility and I have to do whatever it takes so that she won't suffer from whatever problems we're in. I did my share of mistakes before, and the people I know suffered from it. Which is why I need to start growing up and be responsible, because I won't allow her to suffer from my mistakes anymore then it happened to others. Not now. Not ever
Hearing this from him, Sable is reminded of herself with her mother as she was murdered in front of her eyes. Her mother's death changed both herself and her father as it leads to them becoming more hardened and independent, which led to the growth of the Manfredi organization. Since her father's arrest, Sable took it on herself to change her tactic and built a business empire for herself. Sable looks at Peter with sympathy as she herself understood loss and felt the need to bare the burden without the help from anyone but herself, which she sees abit of herself in Peter
Sable Manfredi:… You… really are… a good kid. Putting others before your own and that I find it to be very… noble. I don't always meet kind of people in this kind of work very often
Peter Parker: Thank you… So are there any more you wanna ask?
Sable Manfredi:… Peter… this kind of works that I'm offering you requires certain level of skills, and I know you are relatively new to this kind, but are you sure you really want this kind of work?
Peter Parker: If it means helping out my Aunt May… then yeah. I'm willing to take anything
Sable Manfredi: Then let's see if you can live up to that, starting now
Peter Parker: Huh?
Meiko Yin: Miss Manfredi?
Sable Manfredi: Meiko, take Peter to one of our markets and put him to work. I'm sure someone with the experience such as Peter could handle a little scuffle
Meiko Yin:… Understood
Sable Manfredi: And Peter, after you're done I expect you to be here tomorrow, because you're going to be trained with Miss Yin here
Peter Parker: What? Me training?
Sable Manfredi: Like I said Peter, this work requires a certain level of skills, and I expect the people that work for me be prepared. Think you can handle it?
Peter Parker: I guess
Sable Manfredi: Good. Meiko?
Meiko Yin: Come with me Peter. Your work here begins, so don't make any mess and pay attention
Peter Parker: Alright then
Sable Manfredi: And Peter
Peter Parker: Yeah?
Sable Manfredi:… Welcome to Silver International. I do hope you become an exceptional member to our family
Sable reached out as Peter shook her hand
Peter Parker: I won't let you down Miss Manfredi
Sable Manfredi: I'm sure you'll do fine
Peter Parker: (I'm in, good. Now here's hoping I don't screw this up because everything I've risked so far is on the line, and with Ronin on every thug's radar I have to use whatever advantage I've got from this as my info hub. If I can play my cards right I might be able to stop this gang war before it happens. Here's hoping Parker, because unless something serious happens then there's no turning back now)
Somewhere in Manhattan
A bus entering the city of New York and stops in a Manhattan bus station, as a tall man is seen coming out from the bus and picks up his bag is a large individual with a black long-coat and black shirt with a black cowboy hat. Frank Castle the Punisher
Frank Castle: (Punisher's New Log, 001: My name is Frank Castle. I was once a Marine Corps officer back in my days. I served my country with dignity and honor and I was a four-tour combat veteran, and I retired with the highest honor I could have ever achieved. I had a family, a beautiful wife and two amazing kids, until they were taken from me. Murdered in front of my eyes, and I responded in vendetta. I got the bastard that killed my family and murdered everyone that knew him, but it wasn't enough. I saw the evil that plagued this city, and I see to it as my personal mission to wipe every scum on the street I see. That was 10 years ago and I left this city since then, this is now and I've found something new. I heard this Spider-Man character was killed by this Menace, and because of that criminals and gangs are making their come-back along with new parties entering the fray. But that was not the reason as I picked myself a lead that led me here, right back to the city I've left behind. It's time I get to it then and I won't be expecting anymore surprises)
Ravencroft Institute: Hallway
Carrying his bag of things, Eddie is seen in the hallway, as he's walking with Ashley Kafka to the exit
Eddie Brock: You sure it's okay for me to go?
Ashley Kafka: Your recovery here has been nothing but amazing, and I see no reason for you to stay here Eddie
Eddie Brock: Well I have to admit Dr. Kafka I will miss our sessions together. I enjoyed talking with you alot
Ashley Kafka: And I've enjoyed talking with you, but are you sure you don't want to call your friend over to pick you up?
Eddie Brock: I'll be fine, and besides I think I might surprise him
Ashley Kafka: Well I'm sure he'll love to see you again
Eddie Brock: Yeah… He will…
Ravencroft Institute: Reception Hall
Eddie Brock: Well… I guess this is it then. Thank you for all your help
Ashley Kafka: And thank you for being a good person
Eddie and Ashley shake hands as they bid farewell

Ravencroft Institute: Outside
Eddie is seen leaving Ravencroft and puts on a sinister looking face as he took out the jar containing his Venom symbiote and prepares to proceed in his revenge against Peter
Eddie Brock: Now my love we begin. I hope you're ready for my bro; because I'm coming after you and I'm gonna make sure you get the worst beating I'll provide
New Jersey : Jersey City
Walking down the streets of Jersey City is an unknown female wearing a grey hoodie with a blue coat and wears a black and blue colored skirt with black long boots, as she's seen carrying a large bag. Revealing to be Nico Minoru
Nico Minoru: Okay Nico, you made it, finally. A new city, a new place, and a new life for you to start over, better get to it. God I'm starving, better find something to eat
Nico continues walking as she heads towards New York City and begins her new life
AUTHOR'S NOTE: The first part of the story got me to rewrite it three times until I figured out it would go, but here MJ revealed to Gwen that Peter still loves her, which won't be good as you'll find out in a later story
Here we have Peter starting his undercover work as one of Sable's men, but we also see Sable's own flashback involving her own mother and how it affected both her and her father. I've been a huge fan of Silver Sable, and to me she and Spider-Man should have hooked up in the comics, but as Peter might influence her I'm going to develop Sable into the character we know in the comics
Anyway three new players have now entered the scene, and will soon join in this gang war. Starting with Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher, he will confront Peter in a later story, which will involves guns and killing. Second is Eddie Brock, as he will return to confront Peter again as Venom, which what I thought of will have a different outcome. And lastly is Nico Minoru from the Runaways, who has appeared in New York to start a new life for herself.
In one of my comments in chapter 6 I did say I wanted to include characters outside the Spider-Man cast, and I've been itching to include Nico, because out of all the Runaway cast she has been one of my favorite, and will become a supporting cast in this story. I've already figured out their first meeting, and in my mind its quite funny. She will mention the Runaways as to why she's not with them, which will be explained in a later story
This is were its going to get abit complicated as I'm still working on the plot, but it will get Peter in too deep ina life of organized crime, and how the people around him will be affected. Kate Bishop will appear again in a few chapters, as she will play her role soon in the story
