In an institute for the mentally insane, Peter arrived to for a visit as he met with one of the Doctors, Ashley Kafka
Peter Parker: Dr. Ashley Kafka?

Gwen Stacy is seen washing her face and looked at herself on the mirror as she feels slightly sick, but as she put on her glasses Mary Jane enters and sees her face looking distressed and tired

Mary Jane was surprised by her loud tone, but also sees her mad face as she has never seen her like this, which Gwen realized as she tries to be calm

Feeling slightly upset with her, as she still remembers what Liz had said about seeing her with Peter, Gwen turns to Mary Jane and says what she felt while not say anything about their relationship

Gwen Stacy: Liz blamed you for ruining her life, and since you were the one that did tried to split Peter and Liz up she had a good reason thinking like that

Gwen Stacy:… I'm not happy MJ. I'm not happy being with Harry. Ever since his father died Harry's becoming careless, selfish, and in some parts a jerk. I don't think he actually saw me as his girlfriend. To him I'm just a prize to show off to people, to Peter. He tried so desperately to be a better man because to him Peter was the one person he wanted to show off. To him Peter was the kind of son his father wanted, and he would do anything to get his approval. Even if it means hurting the people around him, and I'm just feeling so disgusted of him that I just want to leave him. I hate him, but I can't leave him or else he would do something stupid that would endanger his life. We took our time, kept our distant, but we eventually work out I guess. Until Peter came back into our lives that I believed that things would go back the way things were, but that's not how I see it
Mary Jane Watson: Gwen
Gwen Stacy: It's been over a year MJ. Over a year and I see the person I once fallen in love with slowly disappearing from our lives as he becomes so distant that I barely even recognize him. And a part of me realize that the reason he became like this was because the more he sees me the more he's reminded of that day were I should have left Harry for Peter. And you know what, I should have left him on that spot if I knew what kind of a person Harry is slowly becoming right now, and maybe Peter won't hate me for it
Mary Jane Watson: It's not like that
Gwen Stacy: But it is MJ

Just then, Mary Jane notice a mark on Gwen's arm

Gwen left the bathroom in a hurry as she left Mary Jane more worried then ever about her. Gwen kept running through the school hallway she went inside through the doors of the auditorium

Gwen hid behind the seats while trying to keep herself together from her struggles as she started to shed some tears in her eyes. Feeling confused as she does not know what to do now, until Gwen hears someone come in as she hides herself. Discovers them to be Harry and Lindsay holding hands
Gwen Stacy: Harry? Lindsay?
Harry Osborn: I can't believe you dragged me in here
Lindsay Leighton: Well it's either here or the football field, and this is the only place no one would come often
Harry Osborn: Point taken
Gwen Stacy: What are they doing here?
Gwen was surprised by the sight of Harry being with Lindsay as they talked happily. While she stays hidden, Gwen overhear what they are saying
Lindsay Leighton: So I take it there's no problem?
Harry Osborn: None what so ever
Lindsay Leighton: Good, because I was getting worried
Harry Osborn: Worried about what?
Lindsay Leighton: Of your girlfriend finding out about us
Gwen Stacy: What?

Lindsay Leighton: … What are you going to do Harry? You can't just expect us to do this forever
Harry Osborn: I know, but I just don't know. I mean Gwen's been great, but now I'm started to feel like she's becoming less of a girlfriend. And in truth… I don't think that I was ever truly in love with her

Lindsay Leighton: Really, so why did you date her in the first place?
Harry Osborn:… I thought she would understand me… I thought she would be with me, but really she has never paid much attention to me at all… I just… I just can't stand her anymore. Not after what happened with us… and Peter. She's just… she just doesn't get it anymore. I mean she's been with me since my Dad died, but as time goes by… I just don't know anymore about her
Lindsay Leighton: Harry… you can't just expect to her to understand. Heck you didn't even tell her what happened at Krista's party after she left
Harry Osborn: How I lost my virginity with you.
While in hiding, Gwen was in shock by what she just heard that Harry had cheated on he with Lindsay

Harry Osborn:… I don't know how she will react, but I know it won't be good
Lindsay Leighton: Then she would have made an effort if she were to become a better girlfriend

Harry and Lindsay moved closer together as they kissed, which Gwen watched in shock
Lindsay Leighton: We should head back before anybody else showed up

As the two left the Auditorium, Gwen got up from hiding and was in shock and in disbelief as she never though Harry would cheat on her like that with Lindsay. Trying desperately to hold herself together but couldn't as she burst into tears, as Gwen felt like she was treated as nothing after being with Harry for over a year. A boy who was her best friend who she never loved more then just a friend, but tried to be a better girlfriend for him suddenly committed an unfaithful act behind her back in a way she never thought he would do. Still sheding her tears Gwen then showed a distress and mad face
Gwen Stacy:… Harry Osborn… You were my best friend… my boyfriend… I stayed with you after your father died… I gave up Peter Parker so I can stay with you… I cared for you even after everything you did… I tried to be a better girlfriend for you… but you… you treated me like I was a thing… you treated me like nothing… nothing… I am nothing… no more…
Ravencroft Institute: Eddie Brock's Cell
As the Institute was about to shut off its lights, Eddie Brock is seen in his cell as he sits quietly on his bed, but underneath it is a jar containing a living black goop. His Symbiote, Venom
Eddie Brock: Not now my love… not yet… Be patient until it is time… then we'll make our move… against him… against Peter Parker
Silver Spoon Coffee House: Inside
Inside the coffee house, Whitney Chang is looking over some files in her laptop as she's picking up some new leads for her investigation as she is speaking to one of her leads on the table, Jack Casey
Whitney Chang: You sure about this?
Jack Casey: Positive. Even though the facts are weak it's still a starting point, and I can't believe I didn't see it sooner
Whitney Chang: So what have you got?
Jack Casey: For the past few months Spider-Man has been taking on groups of thugs that have connections to certain crime families, but I've also found something else in the matter and it's big. Real big
Whitney Chang: How big?
Jack Casey: So big I would be hunted down and put into jail for life big
Whitney Chang: Get out
Jack Casey: What I've discovered is that most of the criminal organizations that have been running their operation have connections to higher level of power. Law enforcement, big corporations, and politicians
Whitney Chang: You're kidding me?
Jack Casey: This is one of the biggest of them all. Roxxon
Whitney Chang: Roxxon, as in the Roxxon Corporations?
Jack Casey: The one and the same.
Whitney Chang: I know about this. Spider-Man once fought some guy with tentacle arms a few months back, and the CEO that time died of heat attack
Jack Casey: They've started as a casino business, then export, then stock market, now a full blown corporation with access to high connections within governments. Hell they even have a lobbying group in Washington and were responsible for massive anti-Union and anti-workers bills that sees them earning massive amounts of profits at the expense of the workers, but there are also rumors that they've also been running illegal smuggling and drug operations, but the thing is there is also rumors that they might have a hand in this gang-war business
Whitney Chang: And the police didn't even find a trace what they've been up to?
Jack Casey: If they have money then they can be bribed to look away. Plus they have connections to other access of governance through businesses and investment, and not only that they've also funded Jillian Waters's election campaign
Whitney Chang: Jillian Waters? Roxxon is funded her election campaign
Jack Casey: And with Jillian Waters reelected as the Mayor of New York for another term then they will have access to higher level of politics of New York. Maybe have one of their own in Washington DC itself
Whitney was surprised by how big her investigation has become as she now realizes she's getting involved into something big but believes that it's what Spider-Man died from that she pressed on with this
Whitney Chang: So Roxxon is getting itself a power grab in US politics, but what ties do they have with criminal organization?
Jack Casey: Hard to tell with everything messed up right now, but if what you said about this gang-war that's brewing might actually be taken to their advantage. They've already got ties to large pharmaceutical companies, arm manufacturer that supplies to local law enforcement, anything they can find to make money they can exploit it
Whitney Chang: Make money in both legal and illegal means. So which side is Roxxon arming?
Jack Casey: Well it can't be the Manfredi family with Silver Incorporated open for business, there was they so-called costume criminals whose group is unknown, the Nafaria Family which is an Eastern European group, and few others I haven't heard from yet. Other then that I don't know
Whitney Chang: What about Roxxon, whose running the company now?
Jack Casey: Haven't got any yet. The company has been running by the board of directors, but the CEO might make an appearance
Whitney Chang: Then that's were we begin
Jack Casey: What?
Whitney Chang: I want all information you have on both Roxxon and Mayor Waters. Every detail, every rumors, every information, every past deeds, every activity, every little dirty secret you have on them I wanna know all including the new CEO
Jack Casey: You sure about this? Because this is bigger then the both of us
Whitney Chang: And that's were my journalist senses are shaking and get's more exiting
Jack Casey: But Whitney
Whitney Chang: I wanna know what's going Casey, so its time you man up and get me the goods
Jack Casey: …
Whitney Chang: Please… you know what would be at stake
Jack Casey: … I'll call some guys and get some favors
Whitney Chang: I owe you for this

Whitney left the Silver Spoon as she heads off home with the information she's received from Jack. As she heads to her car, Whitney is suddenly surrounded by some thugs carrying crowbars
Whitney Chang: Huh?
Thug 1: Well what do we have here?
Thug 2: Whoo, well this one a beauty
Thug 3: No kidding
Whitney then takes out a taser and points at the thugs
Thug 3: Like a taser could stop us?
Whitney Chang: What do you want!?
Thug 1: Nothing much except making you stayed quiet, but I guess a little fun wouldn't hurt
Thug 2: Hell yeah. So come here sweet cheeks
Suddenly a yellow ribbon grabbed Thug 1's crowbar as the mysterious person stood on top of a car behind
Thug 1: What the!?
Whitney Chang: Huh?
?: You think to yourselves to cause harm on an innocent life, well not on my watch!
The mysterious figure brutally attacks the three thugs with their own crowbars. With Thug 3 being brutally beaten unconsciously with broken ribs, Thug 2 being smashed in the head with his legs badly broken, and Thug 1 with his arm broken as he was attempt to land a blow on her
Thug 1: ( arms broken ) AAAAAAHHHHH!
?: Trust me, it will get worse if you don't talk
Thug 1: WHA!? WHAT DO YOU WANT!?
?: Who sent you!?
Whitney Chang: What!?
?: TALK NOW OR YOU'LL LOOSE YOUR OTHER ARM!
Thug 1: I DON'T KNOW!
?: YOU'RE LYING!
Thug 1: I SWEAR! SOME GUY CAME UP TO US WITH SOME CASH TO WACK THIS CHICK!
?: WHAT DOES HE LOOK LIKE!?
Thug 1: TALL! SKINNY! BLONDE ORANGE LIKE HAIR WITH GLASSES! THAT'S ALL I KNOW I SWEAR!
?: Good! BECAUSE YOU'RE USEFULNESS HAS ENDED!
Thug 1: NO PLEASE! ( BASH )
The mysterious figure based Thug 1 real hard in the head as he lay unconscious on the ground, as she turned to Whitney

Whitney Chang: Me!?
?: You have really gotten yourself involved in this that someone sent thugs to kill you
Whitney Chang: Who… are you?
Wraith: Wraith… Call me Wraith. And don't worry, I am an ally
Whitney Chang: Wraith huh?
Wraith: I've been keeping my eye on you since you were dropped under my radar in search of the truth
Whitney Chang: Well Roxxon's name was on it
Wraith: But you can't prove it without evidence since they are well connected, and the information you've got is only half of the truth
Whitney Chang: You know about this?
Wraith: Ever since the death of Spider-Man I have to make an investigation of my own and it appears to be bigger then I've ever thought
Whitney Chang:…
Wraith: I need your help Mrs. Chang, and you are perhaps the only bravest person that can do it, because as of right now my hands are filled with problems I can't stop now that the city will become a battle ground
Whitney Chang: You mean the gang-war?
Wraith: To survive this you need an ally, and I can't be there since the city will be in chaos
Whitney Chang: What do you want me to do?
Wraith: The new hero that just appeared recently. Ronin
Whitney Chang: Ronin? You mean that ninja?
Wraith: As much as I do not know who or what he is, the Ronin appears to be stopping the fighting to stop this, but I feel something else is going on which I don know. I want you to find him and confirmed it
Whitney Chang: Because he might know something
Wraith: I will contact you if I need anything. So stay safe and stay alive till then
Wraith left the area as she was seen jumping on buildings, leaving Whitney surprised by what just happened
Whitney Chang:… Well Whitney, it happened… You went in too deep and now you got involved in a fight against a criminal organization and the only help you got is some lady in a costume along with this city's very own ninja… I am so screwed I wish I don't die a virgin…
AUTHOR'S NOTE: A new player has entered the game. The Wraith, but if anybody read the comics already should know her as Yuri Watanabe
Another is the reintroduction of Eddie Brock. Despite Peter's attempt to reconcile with him Eddie will later play a role in a future story as he will reappear as Venom, but fist I'm building my characters up
Whitney finds some connection involving Roxxon, which again will be mentioned in a later story, and her soon to be meeting with Ronin
And finally, Gwen found out that Harry is cheating on her with Lindsay. What happens, well that will be in the next chapter as she confronts them both, which will further her path down to villainy
