it was a cool fall evening in Salem New York. but sitting by the fire was always quite peaceful so there they were...Erik Lehnsherr and Charles Xavier cuddling on the short burgundy sofa it was comforting. a small pocket of reassurance within the lonely world they lived in..
"Darling are you awake?" Charlesspoke with a quiet velvety tone a small smile gracing his warm features.
"I am Charles.. do you need something?" Erik opened his groggy eyes and rose from Charles plush lap
"No no you may lay your head to rest my dear. I just need to get some papers done." said Charles "But if you believe you still require sleep you may return to it.. i suppose that a few papers can wait for you." the fire crackles quietly in the background warming the space around him
"Charles, if you have work to do I don't mind leaving to our own bed. it is quite comfortable" Erik spoke endearingly.
Charles smiled and lightly chuckled before pressing a chaste kissto Erik's slightly chapped lips
"i love you sweetheart'' Charles peppered Erik's face with small kisses before going back to sleep
