Part 1, Album of Memories
Cocolia woke up the next morning feeling a bit good, she’ll hopefully be able to talk with Serval after… well a very long time. She sighed standing up out of bed deciding to take a small walk and just look at the items in the room. There wasn’t many things, a clipboard with a blank paper, a note book and pen, a few books on the wall. Nothing interesting she sighed. What a boring room…
Bronya quietly walked over to the room again. She stood outside thinking about what to say. Though of course she always had her mother with her, she never had the true her, or more like the full her. Every time in the past she tried to talk with Mother she only pushed her away or sent her to do a job…. Bronya sighs, that version is gone, she won’t be pushed away again.
Cocolia found a album? Confused she took it back to the bed and started to look through it a bit. Just as she sat down again the door opened and walked in her daughter. She smiled at the other female in the room. Bronya walked over to Cocolia, she took a sit next to her.
“What’s that?” “A picture album of when I was younger and when I first adopted you” ”You made a picture album of me?” ”Of course I did. Now would you like to go through it?”
Bronya gave a small smile before nodding at her mother. “Of course” Cocolia smiled back opening the album. She had gone through it a bit, but not fully. One of the first pictures there was both her and Serval at the start of middle school… Every page after that was her and Serval doing other things, that lasted for the next maybe 10 pages before a picture of Bronya appeared. Oh how Cocolia missed those moments…. She couldn’t help but wonder how is Serval doing?

Serval sighed as she was fixing a machine at the front desk. She heard a knock on the door. Confused she called out, “We’re closed”. She waited a beat with no answer and was about to continue what she was doing before the one behind the door answered back.
Gepard had walked over and knocked on the door of his older sister’s door. He knew the store would be closed but might as well try, when the door didn’t open he attempted to knock. He sighed as he heard his sister yelled the shop was closed. He waited a second before calling out again “Serval it’s Gepard”. A second later the door opened and he was let in. “Did you forget I was coming again?”
Serval rolled her eyes “Perhaps. This time I’m not hiding anyone I promise.” She chuckled.
Gepard nodded before sighing. “I wanted to talk to you about everyone so far, since last time we honestly spoke was when I was trying to do my job and per say… failed? Either way, I heard that Cocolia has awaken.” And that she was planning to come here. But he chose to leave that out and let Serval see her on her own.
Serval went quiet for a minute. Cocolia was awake, she wanted to talk with her but she isn’t sure if Cocolia would want to talk with her. On her face was something of a sad expression. “Did she? Did Bronya mention anything about…. Me?” She watched as Gepard shook his head. Cocolia didn’t want to talk to her? She didn’t want to think about her too much.
Gepard frowned a bit as he watched his sister become sad without saying anything, even after her question he shook his head. Maybe he shouldn’t have but… it was his sister and Cocolia. He will step in if he has to but he didn’t think he did. Not right now.
“You miss her don’t you?”
“To be truthful, yeah”
“Do you want to see her?”
“I don’t know”
Gepard nodded not pushing. He knew how close her and Cocolia was, they did close to everything together and then Cocolia pushed her away in favor of the Stellaron. “You two were so close only a few years ago” he decided to comment
“Yeah we were… I miss that” Serval answered back staring at the machine and not her brother, her voice quiet at the end. She was telling the true. She would do anything to get Cocolia back, she wanted to… have what she once had, she doubted that would happen again.
Gepard nodded. He didn’t like seeing his own sister sad because of Cocolia, perhaps talking with Cocolia will help…
“So how’s the band going?” He chose to change topics since he didn’t want to see Serval looking hurt any longer, which worked since she quickly lit up and started talking about Pela and the others. Too bad Cocolia quit the band she was pretty decent at it.
Serval was quick to allow that change of topic, Lynx and Pela were always easy to talk about. She spoke keeping her mind off of Cocolia. Maybe in another time they can talk, but for now she should finish her conversation with her little brother.
