Chapter 1
Aurora Starborn is a breed of wendigo best known for there bloodthirst and raids, Aurora is born from the bloodline of royals, and royals come with perks, as they are the only male wendigos, but the wendigos don’t even need a the opposite sex to have a child, the name ‘Starborn’ comes from the fact that when a wendigo is ready, a star is gifted to them from the royalty of wendigos, and they hold the star/s close for up to three months, then one day, they will place the star down on a blanket, and then, it hatches, like and egg and shows a baby wendigo, or whatever breed the star was given too.
All wendigos had a human like form, otherwise known as the ‘main form’ one they used to walk around in and let no one know they were wendigos, even on their own planet, wendigos walked around in their human forms, as to avoid problems.
Aurora grew up on his planet, Xenith, pronounced zinath, and was raised as a king, inheriting the crown, until one day, his mother showed him one star, but the star was large, bigger than many others he had seen, his mother looked down upon her 2-year-old, a smile adorning her face. “Aurora, this star is a double star, meaning two children will be born from this” she gently moved the star form her arms to show, before pulling the star back to cradle it. “So, it will take six months?” the toddler ogled. The queen laughed as she shook her head. “No sweetheart, the babies will still only take 3 months” she raised her hand to her firstborns hair, the dark brown curls tangling in her hand.
Aurora walked into his siblings room the next day, the star they were hatching from laid on the ground, cracked open, and next to it were two babies, one a boy, and the other a girl, the boy had dirty blond hair and hazelnut eyes, whilst the girl had dark brown hair and blue eyes, similar to Aurora. That day, seeing his new siblings, Aurora swore himself to protect them, no matter the consequences.
