"Welcome to the Guardians of the Multiverse. We're all that's left to fight the greatest threat to humanity." A familiar voice spoke up, that voice being revealed to belong to Byrdie the Duck, a woman with a frizzy red afro
"Who are you?" Kate Bishop asked, decked out in western gear from 1872, wearing a dark black cowboy hat, firearm holsters equipped to her waist
"And who is the greatest threat to humanity you speak of anyways?" Hela asked, her outfit a bright white, adorned with gold accents
"Good question and to answer said question, his name is Kang. He threatens to destroy the Multiverse." Byrdie replied to Hela's question
"We've got not a moment to waste then." Peggy said, suddenly arriving courtesy of the Watcher sending her to a universe without a Peggy Carter of their own, this Peggy being a woman out of time from the year 1602.
"Where do we find him?" Kahhori asked
"That's just it. We don't. He finds us. He could be anywhere, at any given time." Byrdie replied
"Well then, we'll be ready for him." Thor said
(An hour later)
Kang had arrived with his other three variants Rama Tut, Scarlet Centurion, and Immortus as Peggy smirked sarcastically and said in a deadpan manner "Oh terrific. As if one of him wasn't bad enough, now there's five of him."
Without warning, Kang fused with his variants Rama Tut, Scarlet Centurion, and Immortus to become one powerful superbeing.
"You are all stains on the fabric of history. And now I must cleanse you all from existence." Kang said as he blasted the Guardians of the Multiverse with a beam of white light and they came undone, Kate's variants being revealed as a Black Cat variant of her, a Ronin variant of her, a Ta-Lo Armed Forces variant of her, a Utopian Parallel variant of her, and a Daredevil variant of her were briefly shown. Hela's variants were next revealed and briefly shown, her variants being a TVA agent variant of her, a Frost Giant variant of her, a Blade variant of her, and an Extremis variant of her. "I am NOT going through that again." Peggy defiantly said as she used her Union Jack shield to deflect the beam and strike Kang with it in the chin, before grabbing Kang by his collar and plunging him into the molten center of the Earth's core. "Like it or not, these guys are the closest things I have to comrades and I'm NOT going to let you harm them." Peggy said in between punches
"Let's finish it right here, right now." Kang said
"Gladly. I don't care if I don't make it out of here alive, but that's a risk I'm willing to take." Peggy said as she sacrificed her life to save the Multiverse and put an end to Kang and his variants for good.
As the scene transitioned, Kate, Hela, Byrdie, Thor, and Peter Parker were carrying a wooden casket with Peggy in it, walking to take it to a grave as Kahhori silently shed a tear and Riri consoled her
"Storm, would you mind doing the honors?" Byrdie asked, the emotional crack in her voice as she tried to hold herself together
"Are you crying Byrdie?" Storm asked
"What? No." Byrdie lied to act like everything was fine when it wasn't as Storm took Peggy's Union Jack Shield to her grave and placed it on her casket, burying it with her
