Gliding into Unmarked Territory (Lego Spiderman/Miguel O'Hara)
The streets of New York glowed beneath a sky heavy with the hum of technology, where neon lights flickered in rhythmic pulses and towering skyscrapers loomed like silent sentinels. Miguel O'Hara stood perched on a building's edge, watching the world below. His mind was always sharp, alert, and calculating—but tonight, his thoughts drifted to something unexpected, a strange, powerful feeling that was as inexplicable as it was undeniable.
Then, out of nowhere, a flash of red and blue zipped through the air, and a familiar voice pierced the night.
“Hey, there!” The voice was carefree…and oddly comforting. Miguel turned to see a figure swinging toward him, not just any Spider-Man, but a Lego version—his blocky frame gliding effortlessly through the air.
"You’re in the wrong place," Miguel said, the words more out of habit than warning. "This city’s dangerous. I’ve got a job to do."
"I’m here for you- I mean to help!" Lego Spidey replied, his eyes narrowing. "And besides, I’m more than capable.” He spun a web from his shooter and swung off into the distance.
Miguel hesitated for a moment, caught off guard by the sudden rush of warmth that spread through him as he watched Lego Spidey’s figure disappear into the night.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. The city’s noise faded into the background, the only sound the beat of their hearts in perfect sync. Miguel wanted to say something—anything—but the words caught in his throat.
"Well, Miguel," Lego Spidey said, his voice softening, "I’m not just here to save the city. I’m here for… you." His gaze dropped slightly, as if he was unsure of how his words would be received, but Miguel didn’t need to hear anything more.
Miguel’s pulse quickened, the air between them thick with unspoken possibilities. He didn’t have an answer—not yet. But in that moment, under the glow of the surrounding lights, Miguel realized something: whatever happened next, he wasn’t going to face it alone.
The two Spider-Men stood in silence, their hands almost touching, their hearts beating in time. They had both been brought together by fate—and now, there was no turning back.
