Garden
Summary
You find a garden and spend time there for a couple days visiting. Turns out it's owned by a certain someone who would love to get to know you(and tease you)Aka reader is too flustered and keeps embarrassing themselves but it's ok- she thinks it's adorable

Humming, you followed the followed the path down the small hill. Looking around at the wilderness around you- smiling. Finding a beautiful spot to sit and read for a bit. Before you could kneel under the tree, you saw a small building. Debating whether or not to go check it out. You decided to bite the bullet and check it out. Silently cursing your curiosity.

You walked to it - Moss was all over the outside of the building. It hasn't been used in a long time. An odd feeling crossed you. The weird feeling of wanting to enter - like it was calling for you. it was too much to ignore, so you did just that.

Testing the door, it was unlocked - going in, you blinked, surprised - it was a garden. A well taken care of garden. Looking around, it was like it was still taking care of looking over you. You looked at the single blooming flower.

Going over to the plant, you smiled softly at it "well hello pretty," the moment you spoke, you could have sworn you saw it react like it moved to the sound of your voice. Titling your head to the side, you were so tempted to reach over and touch the pedals - but you wisely decided not to. Not wanting to hurt the poor thing,

"What's a pretty flower doing all alone?"

The plant seemed to vibrate - like it was happy to hear it be called pretty. Like it could really understand you. Humming, you brushed that thought away. There's no way. Plants can tell the words and be affected by them. You're aware of that- but understanding? No way. Before you could say anything, a beep from your phone went off. With a sigh, you stood up straight.

"I have to go- but I'll come back tomorrow." Turning to leave, you missed how the plant seemed to deflat at hearing you leave.

-

"What a sweat treat." A smooth voice called behind you. Twirling you around, you gasped in shock. The red head beauty stood in front of you, smirking. "They say thank you, by the way," walking up to you - she looked you up and down. "I must say - you're a pretty thing yourself ~" she hummed, biting her lip in amusement when you flushed darkly under her gaze.

The next day, you came back looking around for the plant. You smiled, walking around to interact and talk to it.

You came around to visit the plant for almost a full week before something seemed to change. Like it was awaiting something. For what? You weren't sure. The plant seemed to glow in such a way you've never seen before.

But your no gardener so maybe it's normal.

-

Walking around the garden, you hummed a tune turning over you caught sight of the flower you've grown to love seeing

"Well hello pretty"

The plant seemed to move. Almost like it's alive. Like it was happy to see you- remembered you. "What a pretty plant, " you cooed, smiling, missing how one of the vines moved curling around you. Until you felt a tight pull around you- binding you.

"What are you gonna do to me"

With a wave of her hand, you were released - rubbing your wrists, you stared nervously at one of the most wanted women in front of you. Walking passed you to the plant you were checking out. "Nothing at all. I don't bite, " Iooking over at her shoulder "unless you ask nicely ~" Your mouth fell open in an attempt to speak, but nothing came out as you looked up at the woman beside you. Leaning over a finger gently moved your jaw closed. "Sad your not a venus flytrap~ you'd be my favorite" she cooed out

"Id take such good care of you. If you were, " Her hand lingered a bit before pulling away "sadly your not, " she almost sounded disappointed

Moving away, she hummed, bringing out a water bottle to gently spray the plant. "The plants talk about you a lot. About how a gentle beauty comes and talks to them -" glancing over at you for a second, you couldn't read her face couldn't tell if she was happy or not by this "I wanted to meet the one who found my garden"

Glancing back at you with an eyebrow raised, you stuttered over a response - face flushing darkly when she smirked at you. Turning to the plant, she gently moved her finger along the petals - like she was petting it

God, how you wish you were that plant-

You grew even more embarrassed at that. Why would you think that - your nor a plant - AND you're totally not flustered, over a pretty - a really pretty woman in front of you. God- why can't you just speak? Say anything - a simple 'Hi' or something. Poison Ivy tilted her head in confusion when you kept opening your mouth as if to say something- anything

"D-did, you know Venus Flytraps only eat live prey?"

Did.

Did you seriously just tell the plant lady- a fact about plants. That she'd obviously know. Silence. Poison Ivy had an unreadable expression on her face. You felt too much panic. What you Said was so stupid. Idioitic-

"That is true. Some people don't know that." She stated, sending a smile your way - a look in her eyes you couldn't tell what it meant. It looked almost kind- soft.

"Come. Help me with my babies-" she said, gesturing you to follow. Humming, she looked over at you following her, almost like a lost puppy. "So what's your name?" Humming once she got it, "that's a cute name, little Protea. " Your face flushed again at the nickname-

"Do you know what that represents?"

Blinking, you looked over at her, turning to you once she reached a table. Holding out some goggles. "I uh- I think it means -" titling your head in thought you brightened up a bit "curiosity right? Putting them on, she quickly grabbed gloves passing them to you to put on as well.

"Yes. It does. And you" gesturing to you - putting her hand on your lower back, ignoring how your breath stopped - pushing your tense self to a door on the far back "are very curious. Curious enough to keep coming back to some garden"

"Where are we going?" You said swallowing your nerves down. She turned with a smile. Her hand rubbing your back in a oddly comforting way.

"You'll be helping me feed my newest baby."

"And who's that?"

Pushing the door open, she walked in - you followed cloae behind. Leaning over, she turned the light on. Your face paled at the sight - the huge vines all across the walls leading to the single huge plant in the center of the room - you blinked a couple of times at the sight- "A venus fly trap"
