Wilson Fisk who is the gangster known as The Kingpin is back in New York City with a mission of polluting the drinking water as a way to force the citizens of the city to buy drinking water from a company that he finances.Can Spider-Man with the help of his student Gill Gal team up to stop the gangster to bring New York City to her knees?

Note

The story is loosely based on the Spider-Man cartoon called "The Wrath Of The Sub Mariner" from the 1980s. In this case instead of the Sub Mariner teaming up with Spider-Man, it will be his student Elizabeth "Erika" Parker who besides being a champion swimmer in the breast stoke area of the sport, she is also secretly Gill Gal who gained her power as the female answer to The Creature Of The Dark Lagoon.

Peter looks amazed as Erika who is in the company of her roommate who also attends Fair City College named Simone Martin as Peter says to the two minority females, "Okay I confess that I am very close to Spider-Man since Daily Bugle publisher j. Jonah Jameson hired me since my work of presenting images of Spider-Man in battle against his enemies has gained a lot of subscribers who like to see images of the web slinger like I understand you (Erika) has a poster of yourself that hangs in male rooms around Fair City like a deceased actress who played a private detective on television was famous for her hairdo and her red bathing suit."

Erika tells Peter "You bet your sweet..." Simone yells at Erika "Watch your language. Peter does not like to have friends of the female side of the sexes talk like a drunken sailor." Erika tells Simone "I was going to say booty since we are fans of the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. Are we ready to have me use my detective skills with Simone working undercover to get the goods on the Kingpin trying to poison the water in this city?"

Peter tells Erika and Simone "Fair game for you two play your roles of finding out if the Kingpin is behind the alleged plot of poisoning the pool water at the swim meet which I understand has been postponed pending an investigation. Use your devices to contact me when you have sight of the Kingpin since I am sure that Spider-Man wants to use tubby as a punching bag this time around. Take care."

As Simone and Erika walk away from Peter's home that he shares with his aunt May Parker, Simone asks Erika "Buddy I understand why you have gone on record that you are luckiest person on the face of the earth since you survived being shocked by eels in Panama and now feeling sick when you jumped into the pool at Empire State University and survive. Can you share your story of how you are survivor? I will not squeal on you."

Erika tells Simone "Okay I am an alien from the planet Lexicon. My motto is 'That does not kill me only makes me stronger.' Did I answer your question?"

Simone tells Erika "Come on Erika, I am surprised that you have not been bestowed with a prize from the local newspaper for the Liars Club: award. You are a very funny person. I swear that you are very friendly with Spider-Man. Now it is our chance to work as undercover agents when we meet the Kingpin."
