Summary

Wilson Fisk who is the gangster known as The Kingpin is back in New York City with a mission of polluting the drinking water as a way to force the citizens of the city to buy drinking water from a company that he finances.Can Spider-Man with the help of his student Gill Gal team up to stop the gangster to bring New York City to her knees?

Note

The story is loosely based on the Spider-Man cartoon called "The Wrath Of The Sub Mariner" from the 1980s. In this case instead of the Sub Mariner teaming up with Spider-Man, it will be his student Elizabeth "Erika" Parker who besides being a champion swimmer in the breast stoke area of the sport, she is also secretly Gill Gal who gained her power as the female answer to The Creature Of The Dark Lagoon.

The story begins at the swimming center where Elizabeth "Erika' Parker is inside of the swimming pool where she and her roommate Simone Martin are at the side of the pool having a conversation one hour before the start of the swim meet when Erika notices a young man dressed in a janitor's uniform using a net to remove what looks like a colorful chemical that is supposed to remove any harmful material from the pool when Simone asks her mate 'Erika I am just curious om where you came up with the catch phrase 'I am known for shocking people.' I like that phrase."

Erika tells her mate "I am a huge fan of James Bond 007. In one of his movie roles when a villain fell into a bathtub and James hurled an electric fan into the bathtub that shocked the gunman to pass away. (Imitating the voce of the super spy) "Shocking."

Then Erika has a strange thought running through her mind like Spider-Man has his spider senses as she says to herself "My senses are telling me that the janitor is doing something to the water in the swimming pool that could harm someone. I better have Simone keep on him since there are reports of a criminal in this city wanting to shock the world by committing an act of terror that will bring this city to her knees."

Then Simone tells Erika "Erika, is this your best friend Peter Parker sitting in the stands? if it is Peter, I would like to get his autograph. See you later my interrogator."

Erika then says to Simone 'Go for it.'

Then Erika places a towel over her nose and mouth as she walks toward the dressing room area when Erika is shocked to see the person playing the role of janitor speaking to Wilson Fisk who is known as The Kingpin. Erika is thinking that the janitor is working for the gangster as she suspects that the water in the swimming pool could be contaminated with a chemical that could harm someone. Like Superman would say something like "Since I am the strongest member of the team, I have to take the hits for the team. I just hope that the alleged swimming pool water is not filled with electric eels."

Kingpin then is walking away from the dressing room area to go to his limo when he is thinking to himself 'if all goes well as planned, the swimmers in the swim meet will be visiting their physicians since the water will make them sick and they will be buying my botted water as a cure. I just dare Spider-Man to stop me this time. If he thinks I was his worst nightmare before, this time it will be his farewell."
