How this happened

one hour earlier
The team had been called our for a mission. There were these...well...'killer wolf bots hellbent on destroying this random small town in new Hampshire as tony had put it
Clint was shooting down any 'hellhounds' (once again, tony) as he could. Steve,on the other hand, was running evac on civilians, as well as protecting them, with Natasha. Hulk was...well smashing things, and thor was doing much the same. Tony was....well, Clint didn't know *what* tony was doing.
The battle itself had only went on for about 45 minutes with little to no injuries. But of course, That all had time change.
Steve was helping Clint evacuate an unstable building that had been damaged by the fight.the only people left were Clint, Steve and a young father and his daughter, only 7 or 8.but that's when everything went downhill
The building had started falling apart.
Clint had just barely managed to push both the father and his daughter out before the doorway was blocked by debris leaving both him and steve trapped.the older man had barely enough time to throw himself over the younger before the building came crashing down ontop of them

Clint just sighed once Steve was finished recounting the events that lead up to this. "Of course that happened" he mutters to himself
They were silent for a moment before a loud BANG was heard causing Steve to flinch. Clint chuckled at that. Earning a half assed glare from the captain.
