Fitz: adjusting his glasses "You know, that’s actually quite accurate. The more we learn about our powers, the more... strange and dangerous the world becomes. It’s like living in a constant state of unknown."
Jemma: sighs, crossing her arms "I think we’ve all had our fair share of weird... a lot of it could've been avoided if we had better control over our abilities. But, of course, you never really know until you're in it."
Mack: grins, leaning back in his chair "Sounds like someone who’s been through the fire, and let me tell you, there’s nothing like it. You can’t run from it, no matter how much you try."
Yo-Yo: nods thoughtfully "I get it. With powers, you think you can make a difference, but it changes everything. Sometimes, you wish for the simpler days... before you knew what it was like to fight for your life every day."
Bobbi: shrugs "It’s true. It’s not just about fighting the bad guys; it’s the toll it takes on you, on your mind, on your body. Not something anyone is prepared for."
Hunter: chuckles, leaning in "Sounds like a warning, doesn’t it? Like, 'don't do it!' But then again, we'd all be bored out of our minds if we didn’t have something to run towards. It’s just the cost of playing the game."
Grant: glares, a hard edge to his voice "Well, yeah, because once you’ve tasted power, there's no going back. And you're right—nothing prepares you for the crap that comes with it. But that doesn’t stop some of us from embracing it."
Coulson: pauses, reflective "It’s a price we pay. For the greater good, we have to face things that are beyond our control, but we don’t walk away. We adapt... and sometimes, we save each other from the worst parts of it."
May: softly "We’ve all faced challenges. It’s the responsibility that comes with power. Skye... she was right about one thing: It’s messy. But we don’t have the luxury of walking away."
Kora: grins darkly "That’s why I never wanted to be in charge of anything. Too much weirdness, too much responsibility. But... you find a way to survive, like we all do."
Lincoln: rubs his neck, looking at the ground "Yeah, it’s not all fun and games. We try to be ready, but no one can prepare for the chaos it brings. Not really."
Trip: laughs nervously "Yeah, pretty sure I didn’t sign up for half of this. A lot of things I wish I didn’t have to deal with, but you just gotta roll with the punches."
Daniel: leans forward, more serious "That’s the truth, isn’t it? The power, the responsibility... it’s overwhelming. But, if you want to be someone who makes a difference, you have to keep moving forward, no matter how weird things get."
