The laugh rings out clear and bright, and Gladion looks down into his Roserade Tea in a last-ditch effort to hide his reddening face.
Hau notices, though, and Arceus bless the poor fool, because now he’s asking what’s wrong, as if Gladion is scared rather than just flustered and now he has to explain—
“No one’s ever really laughed at my jokes before.”
