“Hey,” Dick greets as he enters the Clock Tower, putting down a bag of sandwiches (from the deli down the street that he knows Babs likes) and two cups of coffee (from the only coffee shop on his route that makes a decent blonde roast), then circling around to press a kiss to her forehead.
She smiles, and it brings a smile to his face in turn. Being affectionate with her got so much easier after they split up; he regrets not doing it sooner.
