The scarlet ribbon wound around her wrist leads to the other end of the bar, where her contact is waiting. Tall, handsome, trying to act like he's not paying attention to her— if she could go back in time, she'd walk away, ignore what was on the other end of that string forever.
But there's no changing fate, and that which binds them together will be Tara's undoing.
