Izuku looked from him to his mom. “I…” He gulped and looked at the outline of the phone in his pocket. “I… think I am being abused.” He said quietly.

“after all this time…” Inko muttered as she took a deep breath.
“Abused?” All Might or Toshinori as he prefers being called in his civilian form, repeated slowly. His eyes flashing with something dark.
“Izuku, Honey, I am proud of you for finally telling me.” Inko said carefully as she rose from her seat and pulled Izuku for a hug.
“You knew?” two voiced asked, one in surprise and the other in anger.
“...Of course, I knew. But Hisashi made me promise not to intervene unless Izuku told me himself,” Inko said through gritted teeth. “He even found someone to use a quirk on me so that I can’t act without Izuku asking me to.”
“...Dad did that?” Izuku asked in disbelief.
“What kind of father does something like that?!”
“Your dad loves you. That’s not something you should ever doubt,” Inko sighed, her voice heavy with emotion. “But... his idea of love is... for lack of a better word, twisted.”
Izuku was speechless, his thoughts racing, but he didn’t need to respond—Toshinori spoke up, his tone sharper than Izuku had ever heard.
“Midoriya-san, I demand that you clarify what you mean by this,” he said, his serious gaze locking onto Inko.
Inko hesitated before continuing, her voice trembling. “Hisashi has a twisted view of love. He sees his loved ones as possessions he must protect. But after his own brother defied him—until the day he died—when he tried to lock him in a ‘safe’ home, Hisashi... took a different approach with us.”
Toshinori froze, processing her words. “He wants young Midoriya to depend on him.”
“Yes,” Inko replied, her hands clenched tightly in her lap. “He wants Izuku to suffer in society until the day he can’t bear it anymore.”
Toshinori’s expression darkened as the realization sank in. “...Then he’ll come and lock Izuku in a safe cage, where he can never be hurt by society again. And by then, Izuku would already be broken... too broken to try to escape or defy him.”
Izuku’s face paled. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
“And you? What did he do to you?” Toshinori asked, his voice low but seething with barely contained anger.
Inko hesitated, her gaze dropping to the floor. “...”
“…mom” Izuku called, his voice coming out weak.
“…everything is in his name, I don’t know how he did it but my degree and my entire school history was erased, it is as if I never went to school or college.” Inko whispered. “he also forged a contract that state that I owe him 50 million Yen.”

“… I will not take away the miraculous because as much as I hate it, I can’t think of anyone better then you to do this, after all you already proved your ability in fighting that bastard.” Sabine said making Marinette sigh in relief. “but you will be giving me a miraculous so that I can join you at any moment that I deem you to be in danger.”
Marinette paused, but nodded after a second. Her mother knew how to fight and with a miraculous she could probably beat her easily.

“…when did you get that phone?” Sabine’s eyes narrowed.
For a brief second, Marinette thought about lying, but she quickly shook her head. She already told her mom about being ladybug and the guardian of miraculous, so why should she hide her new friends from other worlds.
