And Terra hates being touched, really, she does— but there’s something about Star’s arms wrapped around her that feels warm and secure in a way that’s unfamiliar, but not at all unwelcome.
Her breathing is a slow, gentle rhythm, and she smells like plasma, or whatever it is that her starbolts are made out of.
Terra hates touch, sure, but she’s suddenly very glad that Star talked her out of sleeping on the floor.
