5th Period
Fifth period was always the most tiring period since every student was just fed up with being at school and just wanted to go home and get more sleep. This was just how Gorou was feeling. Even though he had just started school here, he was already sick of it.
"Home..." Was all that went in his head through his math period. Sadly for him, he had double period maths. Fun.
"BITCH!" Hu Tao slammed the door open and walked up to Gorou who was sitting next to Itto.
"Huh?" He looked up at her as if she was some kind of bear from the care bears.
"You left me all alone at the table when we have maths together." She huffed and puffed, not even realising the teacher behind her.
"Sit down Hu Tao." Was all Mrs Beidou said before continuing her lesson about financial maths.
Hu Tao mimicked what Mrs Beidou had just said to her and put her legs onto the spare table next to Gorou. She then slid off, trying to look cool by sitting in her chair smoothly. But in reality, she fell onto the floor, head first.
The whole class looked over at her before breaking into laughter.
"So embarrassing." Hu Tao got up from the ground and dusted off all the paper and rubbish from her uniform before finally sitting on her chair.
"I thought you were following us." Gorou looked at Hu Tao obviously trying to remember what happened.
"..." Hu Tao kept a straight emotionless face the whole lesson. Not once did she look at Gorou. Which was fine by Itto since he could talk to Gorou more.
"What are you doing after school today baby?" Itto asked, writing down the last example equation in his book.
"Not sure. My dad isn't working today since he got sick..." Gorou's voice trailed off as he saw the teacher glaring at him.
"Sick?" Itto asked confused since his dad looked fine yesterday.
"Yeah, allergies." Gorou kept looking at Mrs Beidou, scared to be glared at again for talking.
"Aw, I miss him so much." Itto smiled forcefully trying to be nice for the sake of his boyfriend.
"Oh right, you reminded me!" Gorou stopped writing the working out on the whiteboard and turned his head to face Itto.
"My dad was talking about you last night when we were having dinner." Gorou mentioned.
"What did he say?" Itto also moved his head to look at Gorou.
"He also said that he..." Gorou thought for a minute before remembering what his father said, "he missed you?"
Itto raised an eyebrow clearing surprised.
"Yeah, odd. Seems like you guys have some kind of connection?" Gorou smiled at that before continuing his work.
"A connection of hate towards each other probably." Itto kept his mouth shut and kept that thought in his head. He did NOT want to make his boyfriend angry at him in their first 24 hours of being together.
"What are you going to do after school?" Gorou asked, bringing Itto back to reality.
"Hm, oh right. I have volleyball practice today." Itto said, proudly.
"You play volleyball?!" Gorou spoke too loud causing Mrs Beidou to turn around and stare back at him through her old woman glasses.
"Move to the front Gorou. You are so chatty today." She pointed towards a seat right in front of her desk and waited for Gorou to move to the seat before she continued writing another equation on the board.
"Well since you were talking so much Gorou, you must know how to do these questions. How about you answer it for us?" Mrs Beidou handed Gorou a black whiteboard marker and stood on the side of the board folding her arms.
"What is the GST of $450?" She asked, repeating the question that was on the board.
"Um..." Gorou looked back at her and then the board while fiddling with the marker.
"$22.5?" He looked at her hoping to get the answer right.
"Where did you get that from?" She asked not giving Gorou a clear answer.
"Uhm... $450 turns into $22.5?" Gorou slightly shrugged his shoulders.
"Sit back down." She snatched the marker from Gorou's hand before answering the question herself.
"Pay attention." She said looking directly at Gorou before paying attention to the rest of the class.
"Psst." Someone whispered from behind him loud enough for Gorou to hear. He turned around and his eyes darted across the room trying to find who whispered to him. Well at least he hoped that the person wanted his attention and not someone else's.
"Gorou." The same person whispered again and looked towards the voice which was, of course, Itto.
"Yeah?" Gorou waited for Itto to say what he wanted to say, making sure that his teacher was distracted.
"Move over." Gorou moved over to the seat next to him and watched Itto get up from his seat to move next to Gorou.
"...and that's how you find the GST." The teacher looked towards Gorou and Itto and crossed her eyebrows trying to remember when and how Itto ended up next to Gorou. Instead of moving them, she just rolled her eyes slightly and continued the lesson. In short terms, she gave up.
"RINGGG!" The bell for the end of period 5 rang loudly causing all the other students to scream and cheer even though there was still one more period.
"You guys can go have a stretch outside then come back in exactly 5 minutes or else I will call the principle." Mrs Beidou sat in her seat and turned on her phone getting ready to call someone (Ningguang).
"Come baby." Itto got up from his seat and softly grabbed onto Gorou's wrist waiting for him to stand up.
"Okay, where are we going?" Gorou asked while he was slowly being dragged out of the classroom by Itto.
"Anywhere but here." Itto said. The two of them walked out of the class holding hands just like a romantic couple (ahem... which they were).
